DoTerra Natural Deodorant gave me itching in my throat after I opened the cap and smelled it. Do they check for fungal growth in their products? If yes, do they have scientific data? It is something DoTerra Science team should follow up on.

I was just on hold with doTerra again for 50 minutes. (So far 3 hours over a 3 day period.) When they make mistakes, their easy solution is to issue reward points. Points don't fix the systemic problems for customers.I have an upcoming Loyalty Rewards Order that I wanted to pause until the major problems are resolved. DoTerra said it will cost me 195 points to pause the account.Their systems, procedures, and CSR's have declined in recent years. For the cost of the product, the drop in shipping points earned and the drop in point value point credits is making this company as unattractive to do business with as it's competitor. It does not look like they will refund my money for the mistakes that they made. If they do refund it, it will take 90 days. Meanwhile, they have my funds to hold onto and deposit to collect interest on. This is another aspect of bad business.

The way it is setup is so sales-y and money hungry and I can't believe they trick so many people into thinking they're producing their products because they care about the purity of what we put in and on our bodies and use in our homes... if that was the case they would just sell the products normally, anyone could buy them without having to pour money into it every single month. I would be more than happy to buy these products if their sales tactics werent so predatory and sleazy.

Sie, we thank you for your feedback. doTERRA has millions of customers around the globe80% of whom are Wholesale and Retail customers that do not require having monthly orders or to enroll others. The rest are distributors, known as Wellness Advocates, who have the opportunity to actively build a doTERRA business on their own decision. Rather than focusing on business education, doTERRA focuses on product education. Those who choose to actively build a business have found an organic growth process as they use the product and share it within their own personal networks. This approach is a key component of why doTERRA maintains one of the highest retention rates71.9% in 2017in the direct selling world. There is no requirement to enroll as a Wellness Advocate, customers can simply navigate to our website to purchase our products, or they may choose to purchase through a Wellness Advocate. We want our customers to be educating as much as they can on our products and their uses, so we offer several components to help learn.

DoTERRA essential oils are by far the highest quality that I have encountered and I have consumed many essential oils from different companies in the past 10 years. I hear a lot of people complaining that doTERRA is bad because they are MLM. If youre just using the products, I know you will be pleasantly surprised by their quality and efficacy.

Pyramid scheme 100% I have worked extra hard, spending money I do not have, in order to meet their minimum order policy. I save and save and save points, to afford a "free" product of which they get to choose to not have available. That's one. Two, I have an emergency ***** so I called to pause my account but they want me to get neighbors or friends involved and for me to order anyway OR I'll lose my entire status and all the points it took me half a year to earn. Wth?? This is a complete pyramid scheme. I told supervisor, what if an elder seller was in the hospital and couldn't order? Her reply was that she could ask family or friends to order for her!!! I'm appalled and will be canceling my account after next month when I'm allowed to spend my points. This company claims to help so many programs but I've yet to see proof and they sure don't care anything about those who buy and sell their products, making them billions. God for it you have to skip a month.. wow, just wow. Years of loyalty to them for them to discard me as an annoyance needing assistance. What a shame!

We appreciate you sharing your experience with doTERRA, ****. The Loyalty Rewards Program offers various opportunities to earn points, free product, and points percentage. The minimum amount to keep a monthly order is 1 PV per month. This includes various items such as an On Guard Toothpaste, Citrus Bliss Hand Lotion, and several other low-cost items. It is never a requirement to order 50 PV, 100 PV, or 125 PV each and every month. If one cannot order every month, we do have a few options that *** work best for our members, such as ordering whenever is needed with one-time orders. I can assure you that we have passed your situation on to our management and will leave customer feedback for them to review regarding LRP cancellations.

In December 2022 I notified doTerra by email that I had ingested an oil that was packaged as lemon but clearly was not lemon. It had a pungent taste! I expressed a concern because I was not aware of what my daughter and myself had unknowingly ingested! I was offered a replaced bottle of lemon oil! I declined the offer! Upon another attempt to resolve the issue, doTerra asked that I submit the batch number to allow them to do further investigation! I immediately emailed a screenshot of the base of bottle! To date, I have not received a response. I last contacted doTerra in late November to notify them that if there was no resolve by January 31, that I would send a sample out to a lab to have tested! Again, no response nor follow up! Not all of doTerra oils are to be ingested! I felt that they have a responsibility to me as a customer to show some concern for the safety of their oils shipped out to customers. I am still baffled!
