I went to Whataburger Friday night October 06,2023 to get dinner for my kids. When I got home I saw I received the wrong order. I immediately called and placed a complaint where I asked for a full refund. Ive been calling for over a month with no response. Whataburger franchise business are crooks. I can see they have no intention on returning my money and thats sad and very disappointing and dishonest. I think people out there should know all sales are final and should not find out this way.Initial Complaint

On 11/1/23 I visited this location and ordered a chicken sandwich combo/shake. I sat for NO LESS than 30 minutes in their drive thru along with many others. Because cars were in front behind and to the right of me, I was stuck waiting otherwise I would have just chalked it up and driven off. When I got to the window I realized my milk shake had been sitting in the window heating up the whole time so that had to be remade. Once I got my order I immediately got into rush hour traffic. I ate my sandwich which was dry and awful, fries that were cold and soggy. I was hungry. Again thought would just chalk it up and never return. But when I got home I noticed on my receipt that I had been charged for someone else's order instead of my own. That was unnerving so I called and spoke with their manager ****** who said if I come back she would remake the order. But she was unable to issue a refund. I do not live near there so driving back not an option. Said she wld look into it and get back to me. She didn't. Called back the next day and spoke with another manager ****** who said he would issue a credit. He didnt. I called on 11/7 to enquire. He didn't seem to remember our call or have details about it so I started over with the complaint. He said he would follow up via text yesterday but he didn't. My email to corporate hq went unanswered. Why am I making a big deal out of $12.62? I am EXTREMELY uncomfortable that they charged MY card for someone else's order and the fact that no one at WHATTABURGER seems to think that is an issue has me pursuing this to the inth degree.Business Response

The date of transaction was 10/9/23 and what happened is me and my wife just had a baby, so we are very short on time. We got Whataburger on the way home from delivering the baby and ate the food from this Whataburger establishment but was quickly met with sharp stomach pains and later followed by vomiting/diarrhea. This establisent was the only thing me and my wife ate yesterday because the food was indigestible after consuming it at 3:15pm. I called for a refund because naturally nobody wants to pay for food that made them sick. I was up all night throwing up the remnants of this food and my wife is still having sharp stomach pains. I called the Whataburger for the refund and she told me to drive to the location for a face to face interaction which I did, but was told upon arrival we could not get that refund we were looking for because we need to go to the doctor and have them test our stool or vomit to determine if it was the food from this establishment. It was the only thing eaten yesterday by me and my wife and we were met with no resolution outside of having been told go to the doctor and get tested to get my $23.20 back instead of just processing the transaction for us. 1. Sep 15, 2023 at 12:30pm - 12:35 pm placed an order by mobile for my warehouse employees at Store # *** total $ ****** 2. immediately realized that the store location was wrong, not where I run my business in **********.3. Called the store immediately to cancel. And they recommended to call **************** to settle. 4. Called and was reported this was handled by sending the money to POS at Sep. 15 12:30 pm and got the proof of transaction # ******* 5. Till Sep. 30 , no money was refunded and had to visit the store #*** and with store manager ****** filled up the escalation form and sent to the form with backup docs to the treasury dept.6. On 7/20/2023 I used the Whataburger online app on my phone to order lunch for a number of people at my house. The total cost of the transaction was supposed to be $47.24. When I checked my banking app I noticed that Whataburger charged me twice for the same transaction, 2 x $47.24. I immediately contacted Whataburger customer service at their support number, ************** to rectify the problem. My initial call was made the same day as the transaction, 7/20/2023. After several weeks of not receiving a call, or a return of my money, I contacted Whataburger customer service again to check on status of my ticket. They escalated for me, but again no response. I've contacted them a total of five times over the past two+ months in regards to this issue with no contact from Whataburger. I need a refund for the second billing for the same meal but Whataburger does not respond, does not allow escalation (despite what they say), and have given me no hope of returning my money.Initial Complaint

Purchased a Whataburger thru the drive thru. On 9/1 23. Came home and lifted top bun to add mustard and saw 1/3 of burger was missing as if someone had taken a bite from it before giving it to me. Notified Whataburger on 9/1/23, received CRM:00280220850. Was told this would be escalated. Received e-mail stating they could not find my on-line order. Called Whataburger and was told they would transfer me to supervisor but no supervisor would take the call. Was told again this would be escalated. To date I have not received anything from Whataburger. I am requesting a refund in the amount of $6.00 for the burger that I was forced to throw away.Initial Complaint

On March 11, 2023. I visited ******** at **********************************************************************. And this location is right next to the Whataburger that youre building in ************. Its probably about **** feet away. So I went to AutoZone on this day to get windshield fluid. So when I was done I left the parking lot and I wet in front of Whataburger, which was not fenced off or coned off or anything off, to go to ********** which is right next-door to Whataburger. On March 21 I was driving to a store and I noticed that my light for was flashing because my tire was low. So I pulled into fire stone and the gentleman was very nice to give me air and as he was giving me air, he said you have a nail in your tire. So being that I dont drive near construction zones and where I worked was 10 minutes away I deduce that it was because of the Whataburger construction. And I know this for sure because I asked the people in the pharmacy at ********* if theyve had any issues at nails and they said yes there was a few of them that said they had nails in the tires. So anyway, iContact Whataburger and I put a complaint in on March 25. I have called numerous times since then with no response. All they say to me as somebody will be in touch with you. I called again on September 16th. Got the same response, which was were escalating it.Business Response

I set in the drive-thru line 25 minutes on July 20, 2023 at this ******** location before making it to the window. The employee had an attitude and would not say thank you after I paid and received my food. I waited for a thank you which she wouldn't say until I asked her too. I remember her nasty disposition on a prior visit. I said to the employee, arent you a manager? She said yes . I then said you should lead by example. She rudely said I am a good example and slammed the window in my face rudely and turned her back to me. Then I sat there a few seconds and she turned back to the window and opened it and said get out of MY line or Ill call the police. Then I asked her name but she wouldnt tell me her name but instead she said move your car and if I didnt she would call the police. So, I moved and drove to the front to go in to get her name and return my food after her rude behavior. I spoke with ************** who gave me my refund, and the name of window employee who turned out to actually be the *** ************** also gave me the customer serv. number as requested. As Im writing all of this down the rude foreign **, *********************** from a distance, screamed at me twice saying "get out of MY store, you got one minute". I said gladly, and left. That shows she was trying to intimidate and portray power. SHE DIDNT ACCOMPLISH INTIMIDATING ME. She just looked FOOLISH in front of customers and her employees and made Whataburger look REALLY BAD in doing so. HER SHOUTING AT ME FELT LIKE A THREAT SO I CALLED ******************** POLICE MYSELF which created a case number for this incident. I also called Whataburger customer complaint line and reported her. Lastly, I called the ************************ (***) and told them what happened, and they created a case NUMBER for Whataburger. The *** rep. told me to report this to the BBB. The ** Sogand Mir IS EXTREMELY MEAN, RUDE, GROSSLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND A HORRIBLE EXAMPLE OF A **, and is giving Whataburger a horrible name!!Initial Complaint

I placed a drive thru order at Whataburger, ***************************************************************************************, on the evening of 7/28/2023 for a double Whataburger with everything but mustard sub mayo and onion rings. When I got home it was a double ketchup only and french fries. I called the store, but no one would answer, so I filled out the Customer Complaint website. On 8/3 I got a response from Whataburger ************* that someone would contact me within 3-5 days. That didn't happen, so I responded to the email 3 times all with no response. I ordered on the app for pickup of food on 8/2/2023 the total was $58.72. When I went to pick up my order the restaurant was closed due to a fire alarm going off. I then contacted their customer care team and requested a refund. I have not heard anything from them since then even after calling multiple times. I have not received my refund.
