Ate at Whataburger on ********************************************************************. Came out and car was towed. It was taken to Destin Towing 1 block away. Cost $175. Not only was my car towed but 4 others were too. This restaurant and the towing company have some sort of agreement to tow that many cars all in a 30 min time span. And to make matters worse- every car that was towed- they had dined in the restaurant as well.Initial Complaint

June 27th, 2025 8:12 pm CST Whataburger *********************************************** My family and I placed our order at 8:12 pm CST. Besides us, there were two young gentleman in the restaurant waiting for their order. The entire time the entire crew of approximately ***** workers were joking around, hollering, and honestly it seemed like the place was not under the watch of management. The two gentleman received their order at 8:22 pm CST. The drive thru was not busy at all. We know this because we sat by the window. After waiting 17 minutes for two #1 meals and a kids meal, I approached the out of control control where I raised my voice to speak over the crew. I asked for my order to be refunded given the long wait time and zero foot traffic. At that point I was told that my meal was next. I told them to cancel my order and to just refund my credit card. After making the request 3 times, a young lady came up to perform the voided overring. I told the young lady that they may need to evaluate the amount of horseplay that was taking place in front of customers. I hit no response. Then I notice a young man with glasses take my order to my table. After thanking the young lady for refunding me, I returned to my table. Because my intentions were not to receive anything fir free, I picked up the tray of food and returned it to the counter. At that time the manager in a blue shirt approached the counter. I told her I didnt expect the food because I had not paid for it. She rolled her eyes and said Okay. She grabbed the tray of food and walked off. No apology. No communication. Just a rude demeanor and unprofessional attitude. Tonight I received below par customer service which is unexpected from **********************. I hope you utilize this opportunity to coach your team so that this type of unprofessionalism doesnt continue, especially while preparing food.Initial Complaint

I purchased food through the app i believe March 28, 2025. The order was horribly made and incorrect! The location refused to refund my money and insisted I call a call center where I would be able to get a FULL REFUND. I HAVE CALLED SAID NUMBER AROUND 10 TIMES! I AM SICK AND TIRED OF BEING TOLD, "WE AREN'T THE DEPARTMENT THAT ISSUES REFUNDS!" THEN IM TOLD THAT I CAN'T BE TRANSFERRED TO SAID DEPARTMENT BUT THEY ARE ESCALATING THE "SITUATION" AND SOMEONE WILL BE GETTING BACK TO ME! ITS BEEN MONTHS! On April 19, 2025, I placed an order for delivery, and when my order arrived, my order was only half fulfilled. I placed a complaint immediately and still have yet to receive a response almost two months later and reaching out twice for an update. In my complaint, I provided the receipt and photographic evidence that my order was not fulfilled. I have been waiting since. We ordered a triple meat burger with bacon and Monterrey **** and a Swiss and mushroom meals. We received a regular whataburger with cheese and the right Swiss and mushroom burger. When I called the lady answered the phone like I was a friend of her before reealizing it was me a customer then gave the proper greeting. I told her about the mistake and she said I'd have to drive back, I said no, she then said I could go through the online order or wait for her manager to come in at 3pm. Whataburger stores are not allowed to be operational without a store manager present. I called the corporate was told, they would "request" a refund, with no guarantee of a refund or timeline on when to expect it. That is not good. I can call burger king, ******** chikfila and tell them and get the issue resolved immediatley. Whataburger doesn't offer refunds you have to submit a request and hope you get one or even get contacted. So no were out 30 bucks my partner was real hungry, so he ate what he had. But we really only wanted the difference refuded and they wouldn't even do that. Sorry whataburger your customer service is overly lacking. Wish it was the old ********* again.Initial Complaint

On May 10, 2025, I placed a mobile order at Whataburger at 1:36 pm. And my mobile order said that my order will be ready at 1:42pm. I arrived at Whataburger at 1:45pm, and I stood at the purchase online counter. Their were two women employees, and one females customer. All three of them were speaking spanish. The employees continue to talk the the customer. They didn't asked me, can I help you? or have you been help? Their were employees coming from the back of the restaurant to the front counter helping other customers. While they were walking past me, like I was invisible. Then, a White male walked behind me, and an employee came out from the back and asked the man "Sir *** I Help You"? I said, " I was here before him". The female employee said, "I *** Do Both". She gotten both of our names, and she went to the back to get our orders. She brought out the White man order, and didn't bring out my order. When she gave him his order, she walk passed me, and didn't say anything about my order. Now, I am the ONLY person standing at the front counter, Still waiting to GET SERVICE. It's already been pass 15 minutes, standing at this counter. Which the White man waited three minutes. All the Employees where in the back, and no one didn't out to help me to get my order, until five minutes later. A woman came out, and ask me has anyone help me. I said No. Which I think was the manager because she wasn't wearing a uniform. The manager told one of the employees to bring my food out. I probably stood at the counter between 15 to 20 minutes waiting on the food that I already paid for. "THIS IS VERY BADD CUSTOMER SERVICE! I will not come to this restaurant again. I have been eating Whataburgers for many years. Today I went to order a number 2 double meet double cheese burger I asked for the buns to be toasted on the grill instead of the toaster because the taste better just like the originals . I was told they could not do that, they have alway done that for me but today they told m that the would not do it I called the manager in charge she came out and was very ugly very rude and told me they could not toast the bread on the grill because it would contaminate the meat. That they would not do that she was very disrespectful I told that last week they did. She just we will not tast the bread on the gril that is why we have the toaster. I told her they tast better if you grill the buns and by the way the advertisement say Order just the way you want it" I look towards the window and that phrase was no longer there on the window but it is advertised on the television. By the way their cook need to be investigated because the burgers taste different I believe they have change the original recipe because it taste like the grill is not clean and taste like ole grease from the grill and the fry's do not taste good either the are also tasting like cooked in old grease. They are not at like the original burgers and fries! I told her I was going to report this matter and she said go ahead. It DOESNOR TASTE LIKE WHATBURGERS AT ALL. The one I ordered last week I could not eat all of it because it tasted different and I did not like it so I had to throw half of the burger away. We went to the location on ******** and ******* and the location on ***************** and ************* in mesa *******. We ordered 3 burgers and 3 French fries. We ordered two hamburgers and onion rings and French fries. The on Broadway they overcharged us and the manager was rude and he told me I'm in a meeting and I'm from an outside company. He still never gave us our money back. I called them today and the *** said I can't help you. My husband ordered two green chili hamburgers and onion rings and the manager comfortated him and said you are doing alot of complaints and you want free food and they forgot my hamburgers and he had to walk back and he doesn't feel good. Went through drive thru and got home and my order wasn't complete. This occurred 3-28-25 appx.5:48 pm. My order was short 1 Whataburger. Went back 3-29-25 about 5 pm and the manager on duty was rude and treated me like i was trying to steal from them She said if I didn't get the bag with the Whataburger in it it would be leftover and they would have a report. 04/13/25 $11.46 I went through the drive-thru to order a dbl meat whataburger dry/plain, fries and chocolate milk and it took about 30 minutes to receive. This is absolutely too long to wait for such a small order.Order# ******, this is not the first time and it's ashame because this franchise is fairly new on *************, *****. I'm very disappointed and feel that I should be refunded the full amount. There needs to be better management handling this issue as I'm not the only car that was waiting for a long period of time.
