We had an animal in our attic and had Moxie pest control come out to inspect our attic. After confirming the presence of an animal in our attic. When I asked him what moxies plan of action would be, the inspector said plugging any holes in the attic wouldn't work nor would traps. The inspector stated we needed to act aggressively and "remove the whole cancer from the body" and suggested that we have Moxie remove all our Insulation, sanitize the attic and put new insulation that would repel the small animal in our attic. The inspector assured me this was an industry standard procedure so we agreed to have it done for $9400. A week after the service 3/16/2024, we heard the small animal in our attic again. Seeing as how we spent $9400 on a service that the inspector assured us would get rid of the animal, we called moxie to have them come back out. The lady I talked to on the phone stated that Moxie does not does not remove small animals and that I would need to call someone else. I told her that the inspector that did the service assured me the service we had done would in fact, repel the small animal "remove the cancer from the body" in the inspectors words. I told her I had spent $9400 on this service because moxie said it would work. The woman said she would speak to her manager, put me on hold, and when she came back on the line she apologized for the miscommunication on the behalf of moxie but that there was nothing they could do and I was on my own. These apologies mean very little to me considering they conned me out of over $9400.
