      I had a young man from Moxie come to my door this afternoon, very polite, encouraging me to use your service. I told him we had one. When I asked for a business card he didnt have one. Really?? Very unprofessional

      Moxie Pest Control is a very deceiving company. We had a guy named **** come to my home and offer termite treatment, after a long talk and many pictures they show about their termite services they said that I have termite and that it was urgent that they would start treatment on the same day. They supposedly had begun treatment, but they never came back. I never signed any contract, but they want me to pay $85 dollars monthly. For what? They keep coming trying to trick me for free inspection and other services and more pest control treatment. This week I received a collection notice to pay them over $1976.86. I never signed any contract; they have not resolved any termite issue they say I had. We are a retired couple and live on a fixed budget and cannot afford blank services.

      I am compelled to share a cautionary tale about the unethical practices of Moxie ************* which unfortunately took advantage of my grandmother's vulnerability. This review serves as a warning to others who might find themselves in similar situations.Recently, this company visited my grandmother's home under the guise of offering a service. However, they failed to provide clear explanations, knowing that my grandmother is not a fluent English speaker. Consequently, she was led to believe that she was agreeing to a one-time fee of $39, unaware of any additional charges.To her dismay, she discovered a hefty charge of $380.80 on her card, which she never agreed to nor could afford on her fixed income. Upon disputing the charge, the company claimed the account was closed, yet they persistently harassed her for payment, causing undue stress and anxiety.It is disheartening to see a company exploit the trust of vulnerable individuals, especially those like my grandmother who are not proficient in the language of business transactions. Such predatory behavior is not only morally reprehensible but also deeply unfair to those who are already financially strained.In conclusion, I would strongly suggest anyone who is interested in engaging with this company to exercise caution and thoroughly scrutinize any agreements presented. Moreover, I implore authorities to investigate and address such deceptive practices to protect consumers, particularly the elderly and those with limited language skills, from exploitation. Let this review serve as a beacon of awareness for others, and may it prompt action to ensure integrity and fairness in business dealings.

      Moxie told my 92 year old dad that he signed a contract "over the phone" when my dad called to cancel the appointments because he doesn't have roof rats. The man refused to listen and when my dad said he he was in poor health, the man from Moxie said "Well, if you die, we won't charge your estate." This is nasty and unacceptable. How dare they speak so heartlessly to a 92 year old Korean vet. Unethical!

      ******** and his crew removed old insulation and installed cellulose. They helped me by starting work in the house attic, giving me an hour to complete my work in the garage attic. The lady in ********'s crew crawled into a very tight space to insulate there. ******** vacuumed after their work was done, leaving our entry way pretty clean. This is a friendly crew.

      This company is a scam/con artists who only say they are going to treat your pest needs but pretend that they do. The guy came on 2/23, I get a text message with the tracker showing hes coming at around 9:10 am, but then at 9:00 am I get another text message asking for my feedback on the service. I couldnt believe how quickly it was done and the discrepancy between both text messages. I called my daughter to check the camera and she told me he had come around 8:50 am, another family member inside the house at the time told me he he didnt even go in the back and had told him. The guy told him he had gone, but the family member confirmed that he didnt. I complained to the company through the survey they sent me, letting them know that they just take my money without doing anything and I wanted a detailed list of all that was done that morning. The guy called me and left a message since I was at work, telling me at what time he was there and that he serviced my house from 8:48 til 9:00 am. To me, that seems like too little time and I truly doubt he did much of anything for $150. I tried at the very beginning, when I agreed to the services, to cancel but they told me that if I did, I would have to pay 80% of the total amount of service visits. I was not going to pay all that money. I feel its wrong how they take your money so easily and not care about customer satisfaction.

      I called multiple times to cancel my one year contract that was bad services but didnt care to complain because I knew I was cancelling. I spoke with two agents about cancelling and they assured me everything was going smoothly. Then two months after my contract was up I was charged $140 for a service I did not want or agree to. I disputed it with the bank and moxie is still saying I owe now $240. I paid for my services and I asked to be done when it was the right time. I spoke with ***** the supervisor about getting back to me about their agent telling me on a recorded conversation that said everything was ok, she hasnt called me back and that was a month ago. SCAM!

      I have been a customer for over a year and have loved every moment. The office staff are phenomenal and every field expert that comes out takes their time and addresses my concerns. I recommend them to everyone i know and my only feedback is i wish they were in more areas in *******

      ********** **** location. Double charged me. Did not complete services. Called to change card on file yet continued to charge old card and caused fraud issues we had already been dealing with (reason for changing card). Tried to cancel with two services left. They came out next day and did a service, despite canceling. I addressed the issue. Technician left then charged card again. Then charged $200 which is more than the last service would have cost to just complete. They knew exactly what they were doing. Terrible unethical company.
