I have not purchased this item but was thinking about it. I am also a technician. It sure is strange that most of the problem started in November of said year with a one year warranty. Can they roll out updates? It's also cold so it sounds like there could also be a problem in the charging system that could kill batteries prematurely or mess up other charging components. Something seems strange and judging by the customer service replies, they hide behind law. They are not a business and are most certainly a scam.Business Response

Purchased a Kandi Golf cart brand new in June 2024. Had a wobble when driving. Having 30 years experience in the automotive industry, I knew immediately that it was the tires. I figured I would ride on them for a bit hoping the flat spot would fix itself. It did not and it only got worse when the weather turned. I contacted Kandi America about a fix or if known issue. No comment from them. I was told that I would have to get it to a local repair facility. The closest one is 1.5 hours away from me. I also would have to rent a trailer to get it there at my own expense. I would also have to be without the kart for however long. In doing research online, this is a know issue on these carts. Also the time frame to have Kandi address and fix is several months. I have offered them a solution. I would pay half plus mounting fees to get a set of tires. All I am really asking for is a new set of tires to be sent to me. I can even show the old to be destroyed. All they would have to do is send them to me. I am getting no response from Kandi on this issue as is a lot of others on issues.Business Response

Purchased two candy Cowboys honor about September 1, 2024 after using the units approximately two times started having issues with auxiliary battery holding a charge after reading all the comments it seems that is a issue with all the units from my understanding. Is that the units dont charge the auxiliary battery, also both units lose power on any type of incline have to be turned off turned back on to go again. I think that these units were brought into the market and not properly tested. Also, I am having an issue with the units being cold below 30 having no power and intermittent throttle response. I have read some information about last week needs a computer reboot but from everything Ive been reading it looks like the customer service really doesnt respond to anybody and theres no solutions to these common problems with most of the units, I wouldnt really like to have my units refunded. I paid approximately $11,000 for each one from from Farm and Fleet in **********, ********* I have not contacted customer service. These problems are just brought to my attention as of late. I have not used the units and have not had the time to spend all these problems. I think they need to bring all these units back and re-do some of these small problems, but affect the units on a large scale. I Submitted my first 2 warranty claims back in July of 2024 the cart was purchased in August of 23. The cart was not starting and a weird noise coming from the front of the cart only when ridding. The battery issue was a known defect which Kandi sent a battery to replace with wiring and a video to install the battery, the noise was dismissed as normal noise as things can be loose in a golf cart.- November 2024. The battery died again, and the noise *********** tech sent another battery and advised me the wiring sent first time needed to be installed. There was no video on wire install first time and no one told me to install that wiring. Fair enough. Installed wiring and new battery cart works again with noise. I report the noise and again told normal to hear noise. However, the horn started intermittently working and the power steering goes out any given time. DANGEROUS! They walked me through the horn adjustment process, that is now fixed.I remove the dash and take a picture and send it to them as requested. The tech is confused. Asks me to shine a flashlight in further and take another pic.He stated that my steering box is sitting on top on the charging fan and is just in there loose! Not mounted! ****** said he would ask his manager if they would approve this as warranty as this was NOT assembled properly from either ***** or the factory. The manager tells ****** the cart is out of warranty and there is nothing they will do. He won't send the machined screws to mount it. They won't cover a repair. They won't cover the parts if something else. They are wiping their hands clean I have to pay to get it fixed. All they did was give me a place to order parts and a service center 40 miles away to do work. ****** for a cart that was never properly assembled and is dangerous now to drive. loss of power steering has made it unsafe and unusable The steering did not just unmount from use, this was not mounted. Regarding the issues mentioned, the initial problem with the battery was addressed and resolved through the warranty claim process, including an exception to the process in that we provided an additional starter battery to help ensure your satisfaction. The additional concerns, including the noise and the steering box, were thoroughly reviewed by our Warranty Director and technical team. Our technician assisted and addressed all concerns brought to his attention and provided the information that the limited warranty had expired and so additional parts or service coverage would not be applicable for this issue. The purchase and attachment of the necessary bolts, which can be found on ************* as provided directly through text, will resolve the issue with the disconnected component.
Unfortunately, upon the expiration of the warranty, parts coverage and service coverage are no longer available under the Kandi warranty terms.
Please note that the warranty on this unit still covers the batteries, which will end two years after the date of purchase 8/8/25.

I am rejecting this response because:
I mentioned the noise in question Within the warranty periodI was told that is a normal noise that these cards make.
It is now known that the noise was an improperly installed Steering box
It is also known that this is now causing loss of power steering
It is now completely obvious that the cart was never assembled properly.
This is not a warranty issue. This is A manufacturer assembly issue.
Your response said , I should pay for parts that were never given to me with my initial purchase parts such as mounting screws for a part that shouldve come mountedIt is also indicating I should assemble something that was not assembled when I purchased this product
If improper steering installation wouldve resulted in injury or death, I would have a major lawsuit on my hands.
You are basically suggesting that the warranty period is up And because of this basic installation that was not completed, should fall back on the consumer shoulders. . Even though it was reported with both battery warranty issues that there is some sort of a noise coming from The cart. Again, both times it was mentioned I was told that is normal noise No one offered to inspect the car or check anything out
We are not talking thousands of dollars.
We are talking about two mounting bolts, and Kandi will not make good on them.The bolts shouldve been mailed the second. I identified the issue with the tech. He then shouldve either walked me through installation or had a service center do proper installation and the check of the steering

We purchased a Kandi Kowboy atv electric unit in April of 2024 from ***** in *********. It was delivered to our farm in ** the last week of April. The unit died 3 weeks later, it will not charge nor will it run. I contacted Kandi in May in regards to this problem. It is now November 23 and we still do not have a unit that runs. The unit has been at the Kandi recommended mechanic since September. Kandi has not delivered parts in a timely manner if they have sent the parts at all. I have requested to speak to a supervisor several times to no avail. Kandi will not work with us, it has been nine (9) months since this nonworking unit was purchased. The unit's warranty was registered. It appears they are running the clock down within the warranty 12 month schedule. We have zero recourse to return this nonworking unit. The customer *** that I have been dealing with is the worst. He will pretend not to know me after hanging up on me and me calling right back. His name is **** *******, he is the worst. I have been given nothing but lip service from the terrible company with a terrible product that they will not ***air nor ***lace. We have been told the unit has a phantom battery drain, that sounds promising doesn't it? I have emails dating back to May through November 22, 2024. We are at our wits end attempting to resolve this issue. Nothing seems to work, I can be nice, I can be a ***** cussing mad, and nothing works. I purchased a kandi cowboy in april of 2024. It has a 1 year warranty. The on board charger failed on 10/17/24. I contacted kandi costumer service and informed them of the problem. They said that they would send me a replacement. I have called them several times inquiring about the shipmrnt of the replacement charger and to please get back to me with an update. I purchased a Kandi golf cart with a 2 year battery warranty. Before the 2 years was up the batterys failed and will not charge. The cart is branded by ******* so I started by calling them and was immediately prompted by a recording if I was calling about a warranty on a golf cart to call Kandi the manufacturer. So i couldnt get anyone on the phone or get a call back so I reached out via email to service and finally got a response that they are not responsible that ******* is responsible. After checking the web it is obvious that they have several claims against them. After reviewing the details of the complaint, we would like to clarify the following:Warranty Responsibility: The unit in question is a ******* Powersports product, sold by ************************** to the retailer/dealer. Kandi America has no agreement with ************************** to assist their consumers with their warranty claims. Warranty Claims: According to the products owners manual, ************************** is responsible for honoring the warranty on their products. We recommend that the consumer contact ************************** directly to file a warranty claim. Now both deny any responsibility. Even if not legally then act morally.
We have need for a 6 seat cart right now but it surely won't be a Kandi or come from Lowes.

In 2023, I purchased 11 ******* golf carts from ******. All of the carts are experiencing battery issues. I filed a warranty claim to have them repaired, but ******* denied the claim, stating that they are not responsible for the warranty. ******, as a retail store, also refuses to address the issue. For more clarity, it appears that these units were purchased from ******, who in turn purchased them from **************************. According to the vendor agreements and the warranty agreements, the service and after-sale support would be provided by ******* Powersports as outlined in the owners manual that we presume would be supplied with the unit by ******. We are able to review each VIN to determine the point of origin; for example, the Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin (MCO) provided indicates ******* Powersports as the assigned party.
We have not been given notification that responsibility for warranties has been turned over to Kandi. ******* Powersports, by all accounts, are providing warranties on products they sold. The reason or justification for such an unauthorized shift is unclear.
