- Additional Info:Read moreBBB conducted an investigation into Debt Erasers, LLC upon receiving an inquiry from a consumer about the offers being made by the company. The consumer was inquiring about the business' offer to remove negative accounts from credit reports. BBB representatives reviewed the company's material online and found that Debt Erasers, LLC offers consumers the option of disputing negative information on their individual credit reports by disputing negative accounts through the three credit bureaus: Experian, Equifax, Trans Union.
BBB representatives contacted Keri Sanders (Owner/CEO of Debt Erasers, LLC), regarding her company's services. Ms. Sanders confirmed that they assist consumers in disputing negative accounts by having them contractually agree to become a Debt Erasers customer. Their contract gives Debt Erasers permission to access the consumer's credit history in anticipation of finding and disputing negative accounts, there is no mention of any fees on the contract. During BBB's conversation with Ms. Sanders she explained consumers are charged per account that is being disputed and stated the fees are not collected up front. BBB requested billing information in writing but to date has not received any such documentation.
