2 starsBe aware of this business the mechanics are not professional. And there are no accountability for the incompetence of servicing your vehicles and no refund policies for satisfaction. They are not members of the BBB, and my car was not repaired properly we almost wrecked because the A mechanic did check behind the B and C mechanics to ensure proper work. we had no choice but to take our car to the dealership and wait and was force to pay more money. we were given the corporate's email address that didn't work. We talked to the Asst.mgr and he was no help. Called and spoke with the receptionist and left a message for the store manager he never called. consumer be aware.Review fromJesse H

1 starI brought my truck to Firestone Steele Creek in November 2024 for an overheating issue. They replaced the radiator, hoses, and thermostat. The truck continued to overheat and was returned three times. A Firestone employee admitted the hoses were not connected properly, which likely caused further damage. After being told the issue was fixed, the truck overheated within 4 miles and was later diagnosed with a blown head gasket. Firestone now denies responsibility, and corporate has not followed up despite multiple escalation attempts. I am seeking reimbursement for the engine damage caused by their negligent service.Review fromDavid L

1 starI had a deeply troubling experience at this Firestone location. My wife called me after getting a flat tire while driving with our young children. She pulled in here for help. The manager told her the tire was unrepairable and that her only option was to buy a $300 replacement tire.
When I arrived and showed him that the Firestone website listed several tire options available for delivery within 24 hours, he dismissed them and insisted they weren’t available. I asked him just to put the spare on so we could leave.
Here’s where it gets shocking: as I was walking out, one of the mechanics quietly pulled me aside and said that he had actually patched and balanced the tire — and that it was totally fine. He warned me not to tell his manager or he could get fired.
That means the manager was trying to upsell a tire we didn’t need, even though the tire had already been repaired and was safe to drive on. I can’t begin to express how upsetting this is — not just as a customer, but as a father. We were being taken advantage of in a stressful moment.
This kind of dishonesty is completely unacceptable. I hope corporate takes a serious look at the practices happening at this location.Review fromTodd B

1 starDo not take your car here. Complete rip off....
Friday June 27th 2025. 0800
No short nor sweet.
Had an appointment to have my A/C drained and recharged. June 27th 2025. 0800
I was told maintenance would be complete in 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours.
Stuck in waiting room for Four + (4) hours.
They then stated it was "completed".
(They attributed the A/C cycling to a "wiring short" )
An incorrect diagnosis.
On the drive home the air conditioning started shooting out HOT air.
Checked under the hood and could see where the cooling fluid was leaking.
Took vehicle to **** dealership.
They diagnosed part of the problem : both A/C Pressure switches (High and Low) needed to be replaced.
Called T Plus to alert them to the problem. Incompetent / incomplete Service.
Spoke with T Plus on Sat. June 28th to reschedule an appointment for Monday 06-30-2025 @ 0800 to remedy their failure to repair the issue and pointed out the leak in the system they did not correct.
Waited for 1 1/2 hours for the "air tech" to arrive at T Plus.
He was 1 1/2 hours late to the job.
Proved to him there was not a wiring "short". Used multi meter on the pig tail.
I could engage the A/C clutch at will. Proving is was not a "wiring short".
I was told it would be done in 4 hours. I called 6 hours later for status.
Was told they were waiting on my approval for the cost of the maintenance.
That call never came. At that point I approved the cost of the repairs.
And was told installing the two parts costing $30 each from Autozone would cost $300 dollars
Told them the A/C clutch cycles on / off every 10 seconds or so.
(I thought the cycling was from low refrigerant. Hence the complete drain and recharge)
To date the problem has not been fixed nor has any help been offered.
Still NO A/C.
I want a refund. Period.Review fromValerie W

1 starPurposely disabled my car by disconnecting the throttle body clamp. This caused my car to turn on and immediately shut off. I had to get pay 177.00 to get my car towed. My mechanic checked it out and said this was done purposely.Review fromLinda G

1 starI had to tow my car on Ft. Eustis to the Firestone on Fort Eustis because my battery was dead according to the tow truck driver. When Firestone called me about my car they told me my battery and/or my alternator needed to be replaced. After they looked at it , they called me and told me that it was the battery after all and that it wasn't the alternator. So after a week went by since Firestone replaced the battery, my battery light came back on and I took my car back to Firestone and told them my battery light is coming on. They looked it over and told me, "Oh well yeah it was the alternator after all that's draining the battery......it's going to cost you $851.00" which I told them I didn't have in the beginning!!! So I'm out of $266 for a battery that should have been inserted by **** **** that would have just cost me $80!!!Review fromBrandi H

1 starI brought my mother’s truck to Firestone for new tires. When I arrived to pick it up, I immediately noticed that the fender and door were damaged — damage that was not there when the vehicle was dropped off.
A Firestone representative on-site acknowledged the damage, and I have that admission in writing, along with clear photos of the vehicle. I was told to send in pictures and a repair estimate, which I did on June 25th. I also have a police report filed for documentation.
Despite their acknowledgment and my repeated follow-up emails, I’ve received no response, no repair plan, and no timeline for resolving the issue. The damage happened under their care, and I’ve done everything asked of me on my end.
This is unacceptable. I trusted Firestone with a simple tire job, and now I’m left with vehicle body damage, silence from their staff, and the need to escalate this legally. Very unprofessional and disappointing experience.Review fromKristan A

1 startook my 2019 *** optima in to get all new tires, alignment & oil change after opening a credit card with them to do so.
They drained my oil left a dirty filter on and failed to put in the new oil.
found out 3 weeks later my car was bone dry with no sign of a leak & was told to get it back to the shop where they took a receipt from after having to buy the oil and filter in order to drive it there safely, told me I would get reimbursed, never happened.
At the shop they at first told me my car was a total recall and to take it to the *** dealership after printing me some paper for *** optima’s with different year and different engines then what I had. They said my car was reported to be burning thru 1 quart of oil a day which was a lie. Took it to *** they only think recalled was a fuel pump which was no the problem. Took it back to firestone because now my car is burning thru oil faster because my engine is now failing due to not having oil & they try telling me it’s my transmission. Tried filing a claim with them to just settle with me but after not hearing back after multiple attempts of contacting them & giving them all the info they needed I am seeking legal action. Do not ever go to firestone, all my own personal clients have told me horror stories as well.Review fromAshley H

1 starBridgestone needs to cut ties with Firestone completely because of poor customer service and shady business practices. I requested an inspection from a certified ASE mechanic with no engine lights on. After passing the inspection, I'm immediately met with an engine light. Long story short, they acted like they didn't know what the issue was and sent me on my way. The mechanic, ********* ****, intentionally left something unplugged in hopes they could upcharge me. Shady business practices.Review fromBrian P

1 starI stopped in the Town Center location of Firestone in Kennesaw, Georgia, to return and/or replace a tire that is under warranty and I have the road hazard for flat repair. Since the object was too close to the wall of tire it could not be patched. I requested a refund, ****, the General Manager advised, "You can not get a refund, but rather a discounted price based on the treadwear of the tire." I acknowledged his statement and requested to purchase a new tire with the discounted price. After pausing our transaction to wait on 3 other customers tha walked in, ****, the General Manager, goes out to my car, checks my tires, and sees that I purchased new tires that were not Firestone tires. He reenters the shop, and in a rude and condescending tone barks at me like I'm a stray dog wandering on his property and says, "I'm not going to replace your tire, you bought new tires from another place." "Take your tire. I did your wheel alignment, but I'm not replacing your tire." I'm flabbergasted by his demeanor towards me. I tell him my new tires have nothing to do with the fact that my Firestone tire is still under warranty and I have road hazard protection. "I'm not replacing your tire. You don't have a tire for me to put it on. I'm not replacing your tire, you're probably gonna try and sell it." As I tried to speak my next words, ****, in a very rude, disrespectful, and dismissive tone barked at me again with a scowl on his face. "I'm not replacing your tire now you get out of my store." I have been a loyal customer of Firestone for over 30 years, and I have never been treated so viciously disrespectful and by a General Manager at that. **** needs professional training, customer satisfaction training, customer focus training, manager training, sensitivity training and/or to not be General Manager at all.
