My name is ********* ***, and I am seeking your assistance regarding a troubling incident involving my vehicle, a 2016 *** ****** LX (VIN: *****************, License Plate: ********, which is now inoperable due to an engine failure that occurred while it was in the possession of Firestone Complete Auto Care in Madison ************ is a detailed account of the events:On June 13, I noticed my car was misfiring. I visited an auto parts store and ran an OBD scan, which reported random misfires in cylinders 2 and 3, recommending spark plug and ignition coil replacement.On June 16, I dropped the vehicle off at Firestone Complete Auto Care in ***************, informing them of the misfire issue. They advised a 2448 hour diagnostic period.Despite calling them on Tuesday and Wednesday, I did not receive any firm updates until Thursday, when they provided a repair estimate of $817 for replacing the spark plugs, one ignition coil, and a fuel system cleanup.I authorized the repair, and they promised the car would be ready by Friday, June 20.When I arrived on Friday to pick up the vehicle, I was informed that they had completed the repairs and the car initially ran fine with no misfires, but then suddenly stopped running and now the engine will not start. They said the engine is blown.They further mentioned that *** has had engine-related recalls and suggested that *** might replace the engine at no cost. However, after checking ***s website, I found that my vehicle is not included in the recall list.Firestone is now refusing to take any responsibility or provide further repair, stating that I failed to mention oil consumption issues. However, I regularly check and top up the oil, and the engine oil level was full when I left the vehicle with them. I have been stranded without my vehicle. Firestones refusal to accept responsibility for the engine damage, which occurred entirely under their custody, has left me in a very difficult situation.Initial Complaint

On June 13, 2025, I took my Jeep Wrangler in to get evaluated for overheating and issues with the brakes. I have bumper-to-bumper insurance to cover and asked the at the front desk to please call send them a diagnostic so that my vehicle could get repaired. He stated that he didnt know if the company opened on Saturdays, but that he could still do the diagnostic and set it up. On Saturday late afternoon, the gentleman called back and specifically stated that they ran the diagnostic, but that the company silver rock was closed on Saturdays. He proceeded to ask if we still wanted it to get fixed and I picked up the vehicle without any repairs and they charged me $40 for the diagnostic. Monday I proceeded to call Silver rock to inquire to them being open on Saturdays and if they received the diagnostic from ******** in *******, the lady said we do not have anything on Nothing was submitted and we open on Saturdays. Sunday morning, as I was going to breakfast with my son, my vehicle overheated halfway to our destination. where is the customer service in the situation, where is the safety that Firestone genuinely states on their commercials. This is our only vehicle and had to call an **** to be picked up because my son is too young to walk in 100 weather about 6 miles back home.Initial Complaint

Formal ********************************** Experience at **************************************************************** I am writing to formally express my concern and disappointment regarding a recent experience at your location at ***************************************************, my daughter, ***** ******, brought my vehicle to your facility to have a nail removed from the tire and the tire patched. Upon arrival, she was informed by a maintenance staff member that the service would take a couple of hours. Later, she was told that due to low tread, the tire could not be repaired.When she returned to retrieve the keys, she discovered that the tire pressure had been reduced to 9 PSIa dangerously low level. Despite this, she was allowed to leave the premises without any warning or assistance. Allowing an 18-year-old young woman to drive away with such low tire pressure is not only unacceptable but also extremely unsafe. This could have resulted in a serious accident.I spoke with *******, who identified himself as the manager. He stated that she could return to have the tire replaced with the new ones we have for a charge of $31.50. While I appreciate the offer, the core issue remains: the lack of responsibility and care shown in this situation.I have been a customer at this location several times, but this experience has been the most troubling.Initial Complaint

I BOUGHT A TIRE AT THE LOCATION SEVERAL MONTHS AGO WHICH WAS FINE. I WENT TO MY ORIGINAL DEAL WHERE I PURCHASED ***** FOR A BALANCE AND ROTATE AND IT WAS DETERMINED THE TIRE REPLACED, THE LUGNUT WAS PUT ON CROOKED AND COULD NOT HAVE ALL FOUR TIRES BALANCED AND ROTATED. THE TIRE BALANCE ASKED IF I HAD RECENTLY REPLACED A TIRE AND I SAID YES DUE TO HAVING TO REPLACE A TIRE WHAT WAS UNREPAIRABLE. SO TODAY (6/19/25) I TOOK MY CAR FOR REGUALR MAINTENCE AND EXPLAINED ONE TIRE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REMOVE FOR BREAK PAD INSPECTION. THE DEALER WAS ABLE TO REMOVE HOWEVER IT COST ME $320 RECEIPT IN HAND. I WANT FIRESTONE TO REIMBURSE ME $320 FOR THE TOTAL COST FOR REPAIR.Initial Complaint

On 2/11/2025, I went to the Firestone (****** ********* @ WALNUT - ******************************************************************************* - 972.550.012) for a pre-purchase inspection. I was disappointed that first because when I went back at the said time, they hadn't even started checking my car yet. And the actual service time for a full inspection was no more than 30 minutes (from 1pm to 1:30pm). If this was not bad, the inspection report was a joke - they clearly didn't specialize in Nissan Rogue 2023 that I was purchasing. With the additional $****** I purchased for the engine analysis, I got nothing but a bunch of codes they were not sure about. They also couldn't give me any specific codes for most of the concerns they had (all I got was a couple of codes but I was told there were more than 10 codes they couldn't specify). They couldn't give me a formal report. Instead, I was asked to take photos of the results. I tried to talk to the mechanic to get an overall impression on the vehicle, but the front desk said I was not allowed to talk to them. This place is not recommended for such a job. I would like to get my money back, particularly the ****** dollars on engine analysis.Initial Complaint

On 01/22/25 I brought my SUV so, they can fix the A/C air condition and they suggest to replace the air compressor which they did .It cost me total of $1,097.03 the parts cost is $647.99 and the labor cost $315.00. the A/C was cooling, but after 5 months in June 15 2025 stop cooling that's when I drive it back them on 6/16/25 they told me is going to cost me $133 for a diagnostic test and they already know it's the ac problem from last time and l have to pay them between for fixing the ac between $500 to $1000 ,I refuse to do that because it still on the warranty less than 6 months.Initial Complaint

I went to Tires Plus in March for brake service and was advised that I needed tires (4) as well. They signed me up for a credit program and advised that I would receive a card to make payments since it would be easier for me to pay online due to my jobs. As of yet, I have yet to receive the card in order to make payments. I called end of March and was told that card was sent but lost in the mail and another would be sent within 7-10 business days. I waited twelve days and called on April 25 and was told that it be another 10 days. I called May 12 and was told that the 10 day information was wrong and that I would have to wait 30 days for the card. I have spoken with **************** every time and keep getting different answers. I have no problem paying the bill but i need what i requested in order to do so which seems to be the hardest thing to obtain. As I checked this site, I noticed that this particular location has over 2000 complaints so I guess at this point I'm just another victim of their lack of professionalism and customer service.I just want what I need to make due what I have to make due. It should just that simple. I've gotten a replacement bank card replaced faster than a card I've never gotten and still waiting to receive. I've explained to them that my schedule makes it hard for me to get to them before they close to make an in-person payment. I am writing to formally escalate a complaint regarding my recent experience with Firestone. What began as a service issue has now evolved into a larger concern about the professionalism, ethics, and integrity of your customer service ********** I look back through our email exchanges since this situation began, I realized that not once have I received an apology for the inconvenience and poor service I experienced. Your responses have made it seem as if this matter revolves solely around me needing compensation, rather than recognizing that I have been a faithful, paying customer who was mistreated.The release form I was provided appears to be nothing more than a "hush money" offeran informal attempt at resolution that fails to address the central issue: the false compression test results. It is mechanically impossible to have received those readings, as your own technicians notes state the engine would not turn over. This calls into question the integrity and accuracy of your diagnostic practices.I do not appreciate the dismissive tone in which I have been spoken to throughout this process. The implication that my concerns are rooted solely in money is offensive and entirely off-base. My concerns have always been about justice, safety, and honesty. The handling of this case has lacked professionalism and has, frankly, been deeply disrespectful in light of the facts.I would now like to add my desire to address Firestone for its dismissive attitude toward paying customers who are being misled, mistreated, and ignored by their employeesone of whom is the "senior" Claims Specialist assigned to my case. The $500 offer does nothing to account for the serious negligence demonstrated by Firestone employees. I am reaching out to file a complaint regarding the Black Friday Gift Card promotion, as it is false advertisement, which I discovered when I made the attempt to use my gift card at a Firestone store. I completed the necessary steps to earn my $50 gift card only to discover it was actually a coupon with an expiration date. This false advertisement is unacceptable business practice and I am requesting to receive the gift card I was promised. As you can see from the screenshot, it does not state the gift card has an expiration date. Gift cards do not have expiration dates, so this would make sense. On 6/11/2025 at 7am I dropped my car off at this Firestone location (********************************************) for a new set of tires and an oil change. I drive a 2016 ***** Civic Ex-T. I received a call a few hours later suggesting I also do a brake fluid exchange, coolant fluid exchange, and get new wiper blades. I agreed.When I arrived around 6pm to pick up my car I paid at the front counter, picked up my keys, and sat in my car when I noticed several large cracks in my windshield. I've never had a crack in my windshield in my life in any car. I went back in to talk to the service manager and he said the **** had clearly stated that the windshield was cracked prior to service. This is included in my invoice notes in all caps but I hadn't noticed before paying and they made no mention of it to me. The service manager also said that when he arrived at 11am the first thing the tech did was show him the windshield cracks and say he didn't do it. My car has other scuffs and dents that weren't called out the same way. Only the damage they caused. I've attached an image that shows the impact point to my windshield which is directly under the windshield wiper that they changed. This crack runs all the way up my windshield.The employees here refuse to let me contact the store owner and won't repair the damage they caused. I want my windshield fixed.
