We took our 2000 Dodge Durango in to bleed breaks and to diagnose of possible other issues. There was a part that needed to be repaired, the part was no longer available so we had to search for the part and Firestone was willing to make repair which we are grateful for! They were able to bleed the breaks for us and we took our vehicle home. This vehicle is used as a back up vehicle. Our vehicle sat for a few days then my husband used it twice to get to and from work (3 miles each way), he came home for lunch (3rd time driving vehicle including time we drove it from Firestone to home) The front driver tire completely came off from the vehicle as he was driving. We called Firestone and asked if they took the tires off which we were told they did we explained what happened and was transferred to a manager, we explained again what happened and was told that to bleed brakes they wouldnt have taken off the tires and we explained that in their system they bled the breaks but we were also making sure no other issues were going on and had to repair another part and the previous person we spoke with confirmed tires were taken off so we do in fact know tires were removed. He followed up and offered for us to bring the vehicle in and he would inspect the vehicle. We decided to check the other tires and learned several lug nuts on the other tires were loose as well on the other three tires. We debated if we should take the vehicle to the same location or different location and decided to take it back to the location to see if they would take accountability and give them an opportunity to correct the situation. We dropped off the vehicle and updated them that we checked the other three tires and learned the lug nuts were loose. The vehicle was inspected and they offered to not charge for labor however wanted us to pay for the parts that were damaged when tire came off. This was very much an error on their end that caused damage to the vehicle and they should have replaced.Initial Complaint

7/18/25 - I had my vehicle (2012 ******* Elantra Gray) towed to Firestone due to the vehicle turning off while parked, and not being able to restart it. The vehicle was towed after-hours on 7/18/25, so I came in the morning of 7/19/25 and advised ****** of the issue at hand. After inspection, ****** called and informed me the shop diagnosed the issue as requiring a fuel pump replacement, fuel system cleaning, and engine air filter replacement, which I approved. The total cost of services rendered was $1,091.29. However, upon picking up my car, the check engine light was on(which was not on when I dropped off the vehicle). I went in today, 7/23/25, and I was told by a representative that an additional diagnostic report was ran today. The conclusion is that the car is misfiring due to the coils, but I was previously told the car was misfiring due to the fuel not reaching the engine. On the afternoon of 7/23/25, I received a phone call from the service manager ***. He ultimately offered to replace the coils on my vehicle with zero labor costs and half off the parts which came to a total of $144. I verbally agreed, and returned my car to Firestone on 7/23/25 around 6:45pm.On 7/24/25, *** left a message on my voicemail saying the car was ready for pick up. I went into Firestone around 6:00pm, paid $156.44. I drove the vehicle down the street and the check engine light came on again and the car started to drag with very little acceleration. Once again, I returned to Firestone and advised *****(afternoon representative) that the check engine light came back on. He advised that *** was gone for the day and that they would have to once again run a diagnostic report and get back to me. This situation is beyond unacceptable, and I believe the service performed was either misdiagnosed or improperly executed.I am requesting the following resolution:A full refund of the $1,247.73 paid -$1,091.29 paid on 7/22/2025 -$156.44 paid on 7/24/2025Initial Complaint

On 05/08/2025 we had service done on our ******** for brake fluid exchange and oil change. We were also told by Firestone **** that our struts/shocks were leaking and needed to be replaced and is a recommended service. The technician **** told us that our Escalade had already been converted to coil struts and he had the coil conversion kit to install on our Escalade, which where less expensive than going back to the air shocks/struts. On 05/08 as we begin to drive the Escalade, we start noticing a burning smell coming from the engine on the front passenger side of the car, but we thought the smell was from the struts leaking. We took the Escalade back in for service to get the struts/shocks replaced and the **** monitors replaced as the Firestone technician recommended. We paid for the work and picked the Escalade up on 07/10/2025. As we were driving the car we continue to smell the strong burning and the Escalade could not go over 45mph without shaking violently. We took back to Firestone and explain the issues and **** came back stating that the brake hose was seized and it burned out the rotors and pads. The brake fluid exchange on 05/08 was not done correctly. **** replaced brakes and rotors and we paid for the brake hose parts and labor. We picked the car up on 07/10. Soon as we started Escalade it gave several suspension error messages. As we start driving the Escalade, the Escalade begin to get all kind of suspension error messages with Stabilitrac and Suspension from the ******** every time we started the **** The ******** sent an error message that the *** cannot go over 85 mph and would throttle the engine back under 85 mph. We took the ******** back in on 07/24/2025 and **** told us that all the suspension work was find and all the errors we are now getting we would need to take it to dealer because their work was not the cause. We didn't get any of these errors until AFTER the suspension work was done by Firestone.Initial Complaint

Hello,As a loyal and repeat customer who has consistently chosen ********************** for my vehicle's maintenance and repair needs, it is with profound frustration and extreme disappointment that I write to you today. What began as a routine service facility ********** Monday, July 14, 2025, has devolved into costly, and uexasperating ordeal that is directly impacting my ability to earn a living. When I dropped off my car for a front-end alignment and front brake and rotor replacement, I expected professional service. Instead, I was informed that the vehicle could not be calibrated, and both the brake and ABS warning lights, which were NOT on when I arrived, remained illuminated. This was deeply a troubling sign of trouble. The handling of this issue has only compounded my frustration. On Tuesday, I was told the technicians couldn't fix the problem, and my vehicle needed to go to ***** ******. What truly baffles me is the request that I, the customer, transport my damaged vehicle due to your staffing issues. I had to leave my job, take the car to *****, and then arrange a ride-share just to get back to Firestone.. After getting my vehicle to ***** on Wednesday, I heard nothing from Firestone until Friday, It was then I learned that ***** ****** quoted an alarming $3,800 to fix the damage directly caused by your service. I explicitly told the manager that not having my vehicle, which is a driving school car, is causing me significant financial ******* frustration reached on, Tuesday, July 22nd, at 11:25 AM. The service manager called to inform me that when your team picked up my vehicle from *****, the brakes were "not operating correctly," and your "top technician" would look at it. Why wasn't this addressed over the weekend so it could have been at **** ****** by Monday? My suggestion for your technician to take a ride-share, as I was forced to do, seemed to fall on deaf ears, though I was vaguely assured the vehicle would get to **** ****** today.Initial Complaint

Ive been going back an forth for 2 years now. They damaged my rim on my car and replaced it with a aftermarket rim and its pealing. I made mention of this 3/4 times and I was told it was a genuine rim. I said if thats the case, then why is it that the 3 other original rims our great. When I approached the manager again on this matter he tells me, why didnt you say something. I told him that I have on 3/4 occasions and his response was,why didnt you say anything within a 12 month timeframe. Then he got argumentative about it and said he doesnt care who I call or if I file a complaint. All I want is the bad rim replaced with a genuine rim from ******.Initial Complaint

Summary of Complaint Firestone ****************** (Store #******)Date of Service: July 22, 2025 Location: ************************************-215 I am filing a formal complaint against Firestone ****** Ridge regarding unauthorized work, misleading estimates, and invoice manipulation during service on my 2016 ****** Juke.I repeatedly requested an itemized estimate be emailed to me before authorizing any work. Despite multiple calls confirming my email address, I never received the estimate. I had to visit the shop in person just to get a breakdown, which still lacked a total and did not match the final invoice.I was promised that the $61.99 diagnostic fee would be waived if I approved the repairwhich I didbut the fee was still charged. In addition, a cabin air filter was installed without my consent and added to the invoice. The final bill was $482.53far above what I expectedwith unclear labor costs and fees. Even more troubling, the service advisor (******) admitted he moved numbers around on the invoice so that mechanics, who are paid per vehicle, could earn more. This suggests labor costs were inflated intentionally, which I find unethical and deceptive.I was effectively forced to pay the full amount to retrieve my vehicle, despite these concerns.I am requesting:A refund of $61.99 for the diagnostic fee that was supposed to be waived. An investigation into the behavior of the employee who manipulated charges.A review of this stores pricing and approval process.Written confirmation that no further charges will be added.Initial Complaint

I have a 2025 ***** ***. The *** has Bridgestone Tires on it. The vehicle had a little over ****** miles on it when my family took a road trip. As we were returning, the low tire indicator came on. We pulled over and checked all the tires and they all appeared to be ok. We continued to drive and heard a flapping sound coming from the drivers side rear drivers side tire. We pulled over and the tire was flat and had a terrible smell coming from it. Luckily, we were right by an exit with a gas station, so we pulled in there. It was a Monday approximately 7:00pm and we were in the middle of nowhere with three children in the car. We were 100 miles away from home and the tow service said it would be two hours to come tow us. We found a mobile tire service and he came to change the tire. Once he pulled the tire off, he told us the tire did not have any punctures or damage externally. He said the tire failed. It had a horrible smell coming from it and appeared to have melted internally. He took the tire with him because we were concerned about the toxic fumes coming from it. I called Bridgestone because the tire is under warranty and they are refusing to honor the warranty because we did not take the tire to a Bridgestone approved shop. This is completely unreasonable given the situation. We had to pay $381 for the emergency service and he did not have the exact size tire we needed so we had to pay another $208 to get the correct tire. We want Bridgestone to honor the warranty.Initial Complaint
