Sedgwick has fought me on a work related injury that happened in 2021. I had a cause opened in June of 2023 and Sedgwick denied the case without giving any sort or proper notice. They claim it is for a preexisting condition which is not possible due to it being a work related injury when prior there was no injury history. Any time I have tried to get them to work with me they say I am going to have to speak with a lawyer which is incredibly unprofessional. *********************** is probably the worst and nastiest of the group with how she went about handling this is the least professional manner possible.Initial Complaint

My car was stolen off the back of a vehicle transport truck insured by Sedgwick. The Sedgwick claims adjuster has ghosted me and really doesnt seem to pay my claim or even follow up with their transport company client. Simple tasks as not returning calls and voicemail always full seem to be the norm. Claims adjuster states she cannot process the claim because she cant contact her own client. There seems to be multiple claims against this transport company and Sedgwick doesnt want to pay out. What I have read about Sedgwick here, it seems to be the same idea Sedgwick doesnt want to pay out any claims.Initial Complaint

I had a Sedgwick claims representative call me to tell they were representing a gentleman who got me with a rental vehicle. She had told me to contact her to get everything settled for my car, but everytime I reached out she never responded. I bought a washer/drier from my local ********** in Nov 2023. The delivery company damaged my solid hard wood floors and a painting. I took pictures and went to the local branch manager who was very helpful and apologetic. He directed me how to file a claim. Claim #***********. My contact has been *******************************- Tel # ************, Fax ************. She has been elusive, rude and very ignorant to me and subsequently stopped communicating. Last month, she gave me a deadline to submit damage quote from a contractor but when I sent her the quote before her deadline she was out of office for 3 weeks. Her colleague *************************** did not even acknowledge receipt of my email. When she returned to her office, she never came back to me but eventually replied to my email after numerous emails/calls. 10 days ago, she agreed to settle my claim for for a total of $1800. She refused to include WA state tax. She has since refused to ************* or answer to several emails that I have sent her. I committed the contractor and all floor works were completed two days ago. I paid in full, including WA state tax. I am not sure what business ethics M/S ********/****** represents in your company but I do not appreciate them. I have not had time to go back to my local ********** manager and update him on my ordeal as i work as a traveler. I needed to reopen a workers comp claim on December 28. Sedgwick did not respond to emails or calls for two weeks. When they did, it was to assign me an adjuster who, as it turned out, was on vacation. When he got back, he faxed my authorization letter to the wrong number. We got another number that was apparently incorrect from the doctor, so that's not sedgwick's fault. Got another fax number the doctor said is the right one, but now sedgwick's back to not responding. My transitional duty is about to end in 4 days without any healthcareCustomer Answer

I received a copy of the authorization letter from sedgwick via email which I then faxed myself to the doctor's ****** and have now gotten an appointment scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 24 at 11 a.m.
I'm hoping that sedgwick sends the rest of the authorization letters to the right places and responds more quickly going forward.

********* Telecommunications, LLC d/b/a **** ********* Number: 2305001806-01 Date of Loss: 4/12/23(1st letter (modified) mailed on 6/1/23) to *************************************** examiners along with pics on 12/7/23 I am writing in response to the letter I received on May 25, 2023, (requesting a letter of the damage to my property on April 12, 2023, by ***** an **** tech. He arrived at 9:45 a.m. to run fiber line and to disconnect my ********* services. ***** went up into the attic to run lines through the attic and down the outside walls. Afterwards, I was told that a burying crew would come in 2 wks. After finishing, he realized that had disconnected the ********* and that he didn't have to go into the attic after all. ****************** stated that he had only been with ATT 6 months. The next day, I noticed that my kitchen ceiling had been cracked. Two guys came to bury the fiber lines, after testing the equipment, my tv wouldn't show a pic. He looked at the modem and went outside and worked on the outside box. Then the tv rebooted. The tech called ***** and told him to come back and check on equipment he had installed. However, he did not. I called and spoke to (*****)- ATT stating that my neighbors had reported to me that the burying crew had left a hole underneath the concrete. He could see the fiber wires lying underneath. He was upset stating that his dogs had nearly fallen into the hole. I called ATT the next day and talked to *****, that I needed ATT to come a fix the hole and the ceiling. On 5-11-23, ******* came out and fixed the outside box (bent fiber). He took pics of the hole and sent them to his supervisor and that "**** would repair the damages." On 5-17-23, I talked to ********** and stated my complaint. **** and **** arrived at 3 p.m. He took pics and sent pics to his supervisor in Decatur. I was given a claim number and to wait 3 weeks to hear from ****. I've contact Sedgwick over 10 times leaving messages, but to no avail.Initial Complaint

Sedgwick manages claim for ***** I have a claim that I have not gotten an update on since November. *********************** has refused to respond to my emails. Sedgwick number throws you in a loop and when you finally get to a live person they transfer you without your knowledge back into a loop. We have a new build house that needs repairs done and have gotten the same thing and estimate from the builder for the whole ATT put in the side of our brand new house due to poor tech trainingInitial Complaint

This has been an ongoing issue since mid July of 2023. I have had the unfortunate experience of developing several debilitating health issues over several bodily symptoms and trying to find solution and treatment has been painfully slow due to lack of doctors in the area. So trying to get doctor ************ is extremely difficult to get in timely fashion with them drawn out by 1 or 2 months. In Nov 2023 I was required to again scramble into a dr **** to get more paperwork and clinic notes to extend my short term disability. I informed them I cannot access the employee Sedgwick site due to not being able to register my new phone physically at the job site to gain access to anything due to restrictions of the complex authenticators the company has required. I only had either trying to call or sending a text via a number I had been in communication with before. I was not able to get into an **** in time they demanded and so on the day, like a previous time, I requested an extension but this time they did not respond and instead ignored the message. Trying to call is very difficult with connection or you're on hold for hours, something my medical situation doesn't allow very often. Sedgwick NEVER called or reached out to me. I pay top premium for this disability server from my employer. The did not practice due diligence on their part to ensure I was getting the proper services I had paid for. I was able to get through in late December to complain that I wasn't contacted, nor anyone responded to my text, they hap harzardly gave me literally 3 days to try and get an appointment to try and get them their crazy paperwork. Keep in mind my last extensive paperwork stated disabled till 6 of 2024 due to upcoming surgeries, procedures and waiting for spot with a specialist. Again they did not call or contact me outside of a basic text stating the need for yet MORE paperwork. They have the contact information for all my doctors, never reached out. I have been trying to contact Sedgwick Case Worker for 3 weeks now. I have been shuffled between 3 different ones and called multiple times, left multiple messages, and have not had any contact. When I did get a call back, my phone showed a missed call and yet, did not ring. Called back within 5 minutes and the case worker was unavailable. I have all phone records of when I have called in and left messages to discuss issues/questions about my ********* Comp and Short-term Disability claims. Every time I call the general number, I get told someone will call me within 24 hours and still can not get a call back. I spent 3 days calling every hour and leaving messages with a case worker and no call back was given. I have started to include my email address with the voicemails I have left in an additional attempt to get in contact with a case worker.Initial Complaint

On Nov 9th 2023, I fell at work my employer is Chick-fil-A. My claim was turn over to Sedgwick. I as of 1/94/2024 I have yet to receive any compensation even though I was put on restriction and my employer wasnt able to accommodate and was taken completely off from work on 12/26/23. The claim adjuster said theres no compensation pay you need to get that out of your head. I have asked to speak to a supervisor but was not allowed. ********************* the adjuster is rude, less than honest What can I do to get to a supervisor?
