      Impossible to resolve two simple issues. No way to call them and speak to a human being. No one answers emails to direct questions or issues. You are redirected to help groups and thousands and thousands of pages of articles. I have submitted my book and cover. Paid to upload it their site $49. I next paid a $25 fee to upload a revised file to make my margins smaller and so increase the size of my type. I paid $40 to purchase 3 proof copies. I was not satisfied with the results. I complained and I'm trying to print the revised file with new margins with enlarged type, with 70 weight paper instead of 50 weight paper. Their system tells me my isbn is in use. I know I'm the one trying to pay for and print proof copies for me to approve, because I'm the one using the isbn. I do not wish to purchase a new isbn to print a proof of the same book, on heavier weight paper and smaller margins! They are non responsive. This has been going on since January 3, 2023. There is no end in sight.

      We have been in touch with the customer on a regular basis, including today and have explained they will need to upload a new file to meet our specifications to resolve the issue.

      Back in 2007 I couldn't praise this company enough. They have always been slow with payments but, production was excellent. Today in 2023, they have given me the worse service and headache and not only lack proper communication, (emails with error codes don't cut it) they also do NOT have skilled trained staff to produce what clients are paying for. The same cover, and I repeat, the same cover I submitted back in 2012 is the same cover I revised, words only. No elements were moved or anything like that. Just words. Submitted a title for revision on 1.5.23 and as of yesterday after at least 5-6 attempts, they still say they can't get it right. The truth is, they don't have common sense people working for them who know how to do it properly. They expect you to pay a fee but do all of the work for them. No, you are the tech being paid, you do the task. After several failed attempts to simply revise a cover they already have and that has sold since, I asked for a refund. Now, I am getting the silent treatment, the run around, and of course, no refund as of yet. Even their new CEO lacks professionalism, unlike the former one Craig P******. I spend about $1200 with this company a year. May not be much to them but to me and my clients, it's significant and before I spend another penny with them, I will print my books myself. I just want my $90 back. They have stalled me long enough. If they can cancel a title in a matter of minutes, they can refund me for work they have yet to do promptly as well. Stop stalling me. Your tech cost you this account. I would rather deal with staples than to deal with people who don't do their job and expect to be paid for it.

      I recently published a children's book & my 1st experience w/ IngramSparks was horrible, to say the least. I reached out multiple times for them to make this experience right before posting a review & never received a response.
      I had a book release event & paid express shipping, giving books plenty of time to arrive early. 5 days later, they were still printing. I was told it was because of the holidays, however then told it was because they messed up the printing & had to start over. They refunded the difference of express shipping, since I never got it, however, it was very stressful leading up to the event wondering if I would have books. If the books arrived on time, I was fine w/ them just changing the printing fee. The books arrived the day before the event, but things got worse.
      Pages were falling out of the books. I informed IngramSparks & told to count the books messed up & send pictures. I had to go through 400 books, page by page & take pictures.
      I have a physical disability, so doing this was very difficult & took quite a bit of my time, time I did not have. 80 books were messed up. I then found out that 56 books got sent a week later to a state I know longer was.
      They refunded the 80 books & the box I never received, however, no consideration was made for what I was put through to rectify their mistake & communication was horrible, refusing to talk on the phone.
      It was evident they don't care about what their problem caused the customer. Did they really expect I would pay for items I never received? If I didn't have to spend all that time going through each book, send in the pictures, etc. it would have been different & adjusting the price for what I received would've been fair. I gave them multiple chances to show they care about the customer & they didn't even respond to my email.
      Mistakes happen, I get it. However, not one thing went right. As a company, customer service should be a top priority & how they responded to this said a lot.

      I was given a credit for what I didn’t receive and shouldn’t have paid for. This review is more to share about their customer service, which I think is an incredibly important thing for a business. The fact that this company doesn’t care that I spent so much time fixing their problems says a lot about their customer service. It not only affected my event, but the difficulty and time to go through every book was substantial. They made it evident that they have zero concerns or care for that. It wouldn’t have taken much to show they value my time and business as a customer

      I went through the process of self-publishing a book I wrote, paying to upload and edit the text and cover files after purchasing a print proof. Once satisfied with how my book looked, I approved the proof and went to my account to Enable Distribution. Ingram Spark has blocked the book I spent months writing and simply shows a message that I am not permitted to distribute my book with no explanation for why. When I email I am told to reach out to their "catalog integrity team" to file an appeal. I sent this team an email attempting to appeal even though I am not sure what I am appealing since I was given no explanation of what the issue is with my book. I have not received a response and calling their customer service phone number results in hearing an automated message. I am appalled at this lack of customer service and no regard for my time, effort, and money I put towards self-publishing without any proper communication about why I am unable to publish.

      Horrible customer service. I have worked with this company for over a year on my book and to get a phone call Or email returned was nearly impossible. In the end they ended up printing my book with mistakes which is completely humiliating and I still have not received any calls in return. Toni M***** promised she would call me on numerous occasions and never did and now my book is linked to ****** * ***** and ****** with so many mistakes. She promised to fix these mistakes and send me a copy of my book and never did. I would never ever recommend this company again.

      When it comes to customer service/support, it is the worst ever company I had known in my 65 years of life. All that glitters is not gold! I can assuredly say this about the confidence with which their website assures support. I have wasted time worth 1000s of US$ but it is no bother to unconscionable businesses. I hope people will do reviews for companies before engaging them, unlike me. I didn't or else I would not be posting this now. I want a resolution to my issue and have not got any customer support for it
