My wife and I purchased an ottoman from Carolina Furniture and Interiors. We elected to not proceed with the order. When we called into Carolina Furniture to cancel the order, we were told that the individual that sold us the ottoman would have to be the one to cancel the order for us and that they were not available that day. We noted that that we would like to speak to the manager of the store and we were told that this person was additionally not available. We noted that we would like to cancel the order that day as we wanted our refund and Trina noted to us that she would have Cheryl our sales representative call us back and the phone was disconnected. We called back approximately 5 minutes later to confirm this call would happen today. At that time Caroline answered the phone and noted that the only person who was able to refund the sale was Cheryl who was not there and would call me back. When I noted that Trina said Cheryl would call me she transferred me to Trina who noted she would have Cheryl call me that evening. We then waited twenty minutes and had received no contact. When we called again Rene answered the phone. She noted that again Cheryl would be the only one who could help me and that there was no point in calling. When I noted that Trina had said Cheryl would call that evening she then said we should text Cheryl on her work cell phone which had been done with no response from Cheryl. We were then told that Rene was working with another customer and that she could not help us anymore. She noted that the paperwork was in Cheryl's office and it would be too difficult to find. We were then transferred to Trina who did not pick up the phone and the call was disconnected. We placed an order with Carolina Furniture and Interiors not with Cheryl. It is unclear as to how business representatives from the company can not assist with requesting refunds. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
