This is legitimately THE worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. If you can in any way avoid them, I would suggest it. They bought my mortgage from another company and Im stuck with this incompetence. Ive been trying to move from a monthly to bi-weekly payment schedule and its been 7 lengthy phone calls and its still wrong. I will give the reps one accolade (they have all been nice). However, this company either hires without a doubt the stupidest crop of people ever put to human body, or their training is garbage. Im betting on the latter. I cannot receive a supervisor. This company is legit a criminal enterprise in how it conducts its personal dealings. If I could sell my mortgage, I would. ServiceMac should go take a walk down Loser Street!

We had no choice like everyone else to have our loan transferred to this company. My issues are very simple. Tax forms have not been sent to complete itemized deductions. The website literally won't work and calling the customer service line is horrible. We have no way to see our info, make payments, etc. The portal is not working. The only option is to call the customer service line which leaves everything to be desired. Honestly, I am very afraid and worried to have my services with this company seeing what everyone else is dealing with. Do yourself a favor and go with another company. Buyers beware, I'm not sure if you can with whomever you are financing through to see if they use this company or sell loans to them. But avoid all work with this company.

There was some sort of mishap with my property taxes that started in November 2022 where Service Mac had the incorrect amounts that would cause my mortgage to increase as of January due to a an escrow shortage . I have been trying to have this matter resolved since November and here we are in January almost February and the matter is still not resolved. I live in ********** so my mortgage is out of control as is which is no ones fault but I refuse to pay anything extra especially for this companys mistake . Every time I call which has been weekly for the past 3 months all agents confirm the tax information is incorrect . Im bounced between the tax department who confirms back to escrow who confirms then tell me they have to run an escrow analysis with the correct tax amounts which takes **** business days. An agent always tells me when to call and check back and when I do my account is still not updated and the information is still incorrect . I have spoke with at leas three supervisors who have agreed to call me , email the updates etc hasnt happened ! Escrow transfers me to the tax department the tax department transfers me back to escrow when they should be communicating with each other . Their business process and the fact that they see the problem but yet cannot fix it and its been 3 months is ridiculous . Based on the reviews here I see I am not the only who has had this experience and unfortunately I will not be the last as its clear they are not capable of providing adequate services .

ServideMac are a bunch of greedy, awful humans. I have called many many MANY times to get my mortgage back to what it was. I was paying **** for months and then SUDDENLY it jumped up to **** per month, That is unaffordable. I called ServieMac, they said its for taxes. I called the county, they said that number is wrong since there is no data to report to the mortgage company for taxes since this is a new build, they don't know what we owe for taxes yet.I get ServiceMac the right information. I have them conference call with the county, STILL they have the payment at **** dollars above what it used to be This garbage company just wants to foreclose on people to reap the benefits. They. Do. Not. Care. Their customer service is a joke as well. No one willing to help. No senior staff to talk to about a problem that the new customer service rep cant help with. This is so stressful and this company needs to be shut down or change their ways. I am so infuriated because OF COURSE they **** up the prices during a time of high inflation when our interest rates should've been locked for 30 years.Disgustingly greedy corporation.

Horrible customer service with no ability to look beyond their own internal policies. We purchased a house in ******* and, apparently, ServiceMac almost immediately purchased our loan from the original lender. We never received notice from our original lender and ServiceMac supposedly sent us correspondence of their purchase. To be honest, we received a lot of mail from many lenders once our house closed, so we may have ignored the letter as spam. Our original lender took our first payment online and it posted. No problem, right? WrongServiceMac hit us with a 30+ day past due notice and a hit to our credit rating for a late payment. We contacted our original lender and ServiceMac and figured out how to fix the finances. We paid ServiceMac before our funds were returned by our original lender, and paid our current payment. In short, we made 3 payments in 2 months. We asked ServiceMac to write a letter to the credit reporting agencies so we can repair our credit. They were unwilling to help, even though, our account is current, and we rectified the situation as quickly as possible. We have over a dozen phone calls and an equal number of emails trying to work with ServiceMac to help to repair our credit.Unfortunately, their customer service is unwilling to help. Ive never seen a company work so hard to ensure a customers credit stays messed up. They fail to see past their internal policies and have basically said, its all your fault, go pound sand.NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH SERVICEMAC OR ITS AFFILIATES!

I recently had the worst experience with this Company's special products department. We requested a partial lien release in October due to the ************** acquiring part of our land. After several emails of false updates and statuses, the products departments lets ** know our loan was being transferred to another service provider. The individuals who handled this request should be held responsible for their lack of honesty regarding the account. Would never be a client of theirs again if I could help it and if you are a client, be sure to review everything.

******* lost draft department. October 10 they received my insurance check of ****** for the loss of my home. They will not call back reply to emails or send myself the extra funds they received that was over the mortgage payoff. The insurance company claimed the house a total loss service Mac has been telling me to rebuild the structure. They way they want myself to do it is illegal. A contractor can not rebuild a double wide and have it meet hud standards. It is October 25th now and still have yet to see any of the extra funds they are withholding from myself. I live in northern NY 2 miles from the ******** boarder. It has snowed here 2 times already and myself and daughter are living in a 28 ft camper. It gets up to 80 below with the wind chill here in the winter. Service Mac has had all the information on my claim and new house I want to purchase. Since August 27th. They obviously do not care about mine or my daughters health or well being. My loss date was June 17th. What service Mac is breaking a federal law by withholding the money provided to remove the old structure. I will never do business with them again. They have Been delaying the process because my interest rates on old mortgage was **** and as of the 24th of October they have increased to 8 %. So tell me why they keep delaying this. It's to get an extra 600 dollars a month in interest charges.

Enrolled in autopay. This cancelled my previous payment making me late. Mistyped my new account number in and was charged a penalty for that as well for returned payment. **************** is next to zero and I am excited that they will no longer be servicing my mortgage after December. Website leaves a lot to be desired. Would not recommend this company to anyone, even if I didnt like them.

Service Mac is our mortgage company as they were sold or purchased our mortgage against our wishes from homebridge, there customer service is horrible and there based on sc so we can't walk in and dispute issues in person being a ** resident. The issue is they sent a letter saying we had to pay a lot sum up front for escrow or our mortgage would increase. The letter states our mortgage stays the same if we pay. Well we paid. They applied did not send our money to escrow instead they applied it in error to the mortgage. While they did switch the money to our escrow they increased our payment as if we didn't pay the extra to escrow. There error means our payment goes up as of the escrow is short and the escrow is not. We're at a loss and considering council, three calls and they refuse to let us speak to any type of supervisor or manager. We have the letter clearly indicating of the escrow payment was made that the mortgage would stay the se and it says the amount we have been paying. How can u raise someone's mortgage when u have the extra escrow payment, the reason they needed to increase our payment was if they didn't receive that escrow payment. We paid early. They applied it to escrow after we told them why did they put it wrongly to mortgage and there error made the money enter escrow late, but either way it's theft if they require increased monthly payments when they already received the lump sum to avoid it.
