    Might be the worst mortgage company. They never help with any need. The staff are very rude and not helpful. They do nothing but make things difficult.

    I gave it 1 star because I had too! This is the worst mortgage company that I've ever dealt with. We've had the mortgage for about 1.5 years and within the last 6-7 months, our mortgage has changed 5 times and NOONE can provide proof. Luckily we look at our statement to see them being sneaky and adding money to our loan. We have fought it and provided what we can to them to make the change. We've left messages, spent hours on the phone and even emails to try and get things resolved and now dealing with it for over a month, it's STILL NOT fixed. We have had 3 case managers just in the last 30 days! If you're thinking about using them RUN THE OTHER WAY!!

Your loan originated with a specific company that uses ServiceMac for the servicing of your loan and Service has continued to service your loan since the loan originated. Your insurance premium, paid in January 2023, was significantly higher than the insurance-escrow collection for the escrow account projected at your closing. Subsequently, you made a mid-term policy change of insurance carriers in September 2023, which was not an expected payment as insurance premiums are paid annually from the escrow account. You were initially assigned a Case Specialist to work through your mid-term insurance policy change and then another Case Specialist to handle your inquiry regarding the increased payment (due to the above reason).     We really like the customer service skills and standards with ServiceMac. Our loan used to be with Quicken but we had really bad experience with them. Previously with Quicken there was a lot of push sales each time we contacted them on our loan service and when we did the previous refinancing with Quicken 1 day before we supposed to close the loan Quicken contacted us saying they missed calculated their numbers and the loan amount would be $200,000 short! We ended up had to scrambled the last minutes and borrow funds from family members in order to close our deal. Horrible experience! On the other hand, with ServiceMac our experience has been great! Absolutely no issue with closing, and their customer service has been great! Definitely will pick ServiceMac over Quicken!

    *************** their escrow analysis keeps raising my property tax. I just received another escrow analysis letter today saying that the taxes have gone up when my county assessors office hasn't even sent out the tax rate for **** yet. I keep going round and round with them trying to straighten it out. ***** it I did have a shortage in my escrow acct. and they resolved it by increasing my payment from **** per month to **** per month to get my account caught up which is do-able then they raised it to **** and now today ****.

    I have a horrible experience going through Service Mac's ****************************** I sent my checks and repairs affidavit to this company so that the company could release the check under my name. They did receive my checks on July 3rd (based on tracking update). While talking on the phone on July 6th the ********************* representatives told me that once they receive my checks it would take 2-3 business days to release my checks. Today is July 14th and I have not yet received my checks. I am calling them every day for the past 7-8 days and still, no improvement. Just to let them know that I even provided them with Pre-paid overnight shipping envelope so that I can get my check sooner but...... The worst thing is I need to pay my contractor for repairing my house and I don't have checks back from this company yet. Hope they understand it and work quicker.I would like to Rate this company ZERO.

    7/13/2023 On July 13,2023 I called servicemac to inquiry on paperwork sent from the state I live in regarding help with my mortgage that is behind. I fell on hard time due to my partner falling ill from a stroke, so my house hold has one income when prior there was two.The customer service rep was talking to me like she was interrogating me rather being helpful and clear on what she was doing . I had alot of questions in which she answered that didn't sound correct. I can tell she was getting frustrated because she kept repeating my name over and over.Then all of sudden she turned psycho on me ( like something out of the movies literally) and starting screaming and hollering hostile -cursing , where she left the phone call- went to dead air and never returned. I had to call back report it to a supervisor, in which they probably did nothing.That rep needs to be fired and this company needs to be shut down.This has not been the only encounter I've had with reps that provide wrong information and displayed unprofessionalism. They do not care and I would not advise ANYONE to do business with them or any LLC for mortgage.After reading other reviews it seems am not the only one encountering this sort of unprofessional behavior.As far as am concerned they are not in it to help their client, I am currently looking for a new mortgage company and advise others to do the same.

    My name is ***** and last year on December 2021, I took out a VA home loan with Homepoint/Service Mac. Shortly after that I ran into financial difficulties and have applied for the ******19 forbearance. I have entered the ******19 Forbearance protection plan for almost a year now. My forbearance will end in a few days on February 1st of this year. I have contacted the bank numerous times regarding the end of forbearance options, and I felt discouraged and discriminated by the bank.On December 16th, 2022, I spoke to their service representative in the *************************** The call with her was very unpleasant to say the least. She exhibited a tone of hostility and condescending. Numerous times in our conversation, the Homepoint representative made it a point to emphasis that the bank has no reason to help me. Homepoint, she said, is in the making money business, not the helping people business. And numerous times in our conversation I was told that the bank will only help me if the bank has some financial gain. The representative also discouraged me from owning my home. I was informed that owning a home does not make sense and renting is a much better option for me. I could hardly believe my ears. At the end of the call, I felt as if I should just let it all go. I asked myself repeatedly, what is the point? It just seems that to Homepoint, home ownership is not something for minors or people that get tangled in financial trouble.I have emailed and called Homepoint, but to no avail. Furthermore, they deny anything of this nature even occurred. They also refuse to provide me with a copy of said call. If it was only this representative, I would have, perhaps, dismissed it. However, it seems a systematic issue at Homepoint. It is not the first time I felt hostility and even received conflicting information from Homepoints representatives.

    ***************** rep was not helpful as they Clearly see a login associated with this account but gives no guidance on how to reset as the website keeps asking to register even though there is a tied account and didnt recognize the login. Ended up creating a brand new user login and the next month, this new user login is no longer work and trying to reset does not work on the site. I had to pay the mortgage as a guest knowing customer service wouldnt be helpful.
