    Gov+ charged me and my wife $97 each to apply for TSA Precheck enrollment. After a few days they sent me a date and time for an interview that was another week away. They also said we had to pay $78 each at the interview. I definitely decided there was something wrong here. So we went to the IdentoGO interview office and found out that we could enroll right away and that's what we did.We had to provide the same information that we had provided to GOV+. So, it appears that we did not have to go through GOV+ in the first place. In my opinion they are a total scam and advise no one to use them. I would like to figure a way to get my money back. On the other hand, the people at IdentoGo interview office were very friendly and helpful.

    We must address your recent public statements, particularly the assertion that "In my opinion, they are a total scam " In response, we would like to provide a comprehensive clarification.

    "GovPlus is a private online software technology company not affiliated with or endorsed by any government or state agency. We do not charge for any forms, however, we charge for the use of our software in assisting you with completing the form. We are not a financial, accounting, or law firm and do not provide legal or financial advice."

    Transparency is a cornerstone of our operation, particularly in the context of costs. Our payment page prominently displays a disclaimer, clearly stating, "Government fees are not included," in bold letters, positioned just below the payment amount. This notice is presented to users before any credit card information is submitted.

    It is of extreme importance for our customers to acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions which include both disclaimers mentioned above, before any payment can be processed. This critical procedure guarantees that our customers have a comprehensive understanding of our policies, including the specific statement that "You may request a refund at any time. We typically do not refund if an application has been completed or processed." In your case, the application was indeed completed and an appointment was scheduled by us with your local *** office which you have already mentioned, was another week away as this was the soonest appointment offered by the *** agency that was closest to your home..

    The service fee of $97 covers the use of our privately owned proprietary software and access to your customer-specific dashboard to submit any other form. We also offer features free of charge such as customer service assistance with pre-enrollment, customized booking or rescheduling *** appointments for new applicants, and much more. Our patented autofill technology enables the seamless completion of government forms with a single click, which is a customer favorite. This technology serves as the cornerstone of our platform, setting us apart from competitors and government sites alike. Our company is called GOVPLUS because we offer services and features that go beyond what the government currently provides.

    We acknowledge that applying for *** Precheck independently is indeed feasible, but it may not be convenient for everyone, to find the *** agency online or navigate the site to self book their appointments, especially those with unique circumstances that make it challenging or that simply do not have the time.

    For your statement encouraging others not to use our services, we advise you to review more than a thousand independent, verified positive reviews available on the BBB's website. As of October 11th, we hold a rating of **** out of 5 possible stars, based on **** Review BBB Customer Reviews. With such high ratings and feedback from **** customers, it is evident that many individuals find value, legitimacy and convenience in our services. Please remember that The *** is not the only product we offer, it is simply one of many. In addition, our additional features per product also vary, so just that you feel *** was not that complicated we assure you that when you passport or any other product we have now or in the future your opinion will most certainly change.

    While it's true that we have been contacted in the past by the government to assist with streamlining certain forms, we have made a deliberate choice to exclusively serve our private customers at this time. We want to emphasize that no government website currently provides a platform for multiple government applications in one place. 

    It's crucial to clarify that both you and your wifes choice to utilize our services on October 5th, 2023, was entirely voluntary, and we trust that you both have the opportunity to thoroughly review the disclaimers and value added regarding our services and associated fees. The statement, "I definitely decided there was something wrong here," prompts questions, especially given your intentional engagement with our chat support, the subsequent abandonment of the conversation, and your receipt and disregard of the email we sent offering assistance. It's worth noting that you had the opportunity to seek clarification through the available channels, but you chose to express your concerns in a public forum. This prompts the question of whether your decision stemmed from not fully familiarizing yourself with the website's contents.

    In this situation, there's no need to formulate or adopt any elaborate explanations. If you wish for a refund, kindly request it, and we will promptly process it for you. Simply allow us the opportunity. 

    We've taken note of your complaint and we place a high priority on customer satisfaction. We have processed 2 full refunds of $97 to your charged account today, and the same was done for your wifes application. These were processed today, October 11th 2023. Despite your application being processed and completed and the service has been provided on our end, please accept this refund as a gesture of goodwill. As for your wifes application which was not completed on her part, it was still inline with the money back guarantee so the refund was processed too. Refund confirmations were sent to both your emails, and both have confirmed receipt as well today at 12:25 PM and 12:46 respectively. Please keep in mind that we process refunds real time; however, bank processing times can vary, so please allow 1-3 business days for the refund to be fully reflected on your statement. 

    We have taken all the necessary steps to address your concerns and processed both refunds. With this, we consider this matter to be fully resolved.
