      This company is terrible. They sent the wrong item to me. I ordered turn signal light covers and they sent me a locking gas tank cover. I get it mistakes happen but the way they handled THEIR mistake was very unfair. I was told to ship the item back to them through ***** and when I pointed out it was their mistake why should I spend my money, time, and energy taking care of something they screwed up, I felt like I was talking to a one year old at that point. I wouldnt expect a one year old to know how to handle this, but a company yes. Im my mind they should have offered a pickup because it was their screwup. I was told they could check into an except or something (30 minute process) only to find out the item that should have been sent to me would not be sent to me until I took their item to *****. Problem with this I paid for my item already and getting their item back to them (an extra ********************** after work to *****) was not a priority. I decided to order the item on another site called 4x4 only to discover that extreme terrain goes under that name as well??. I had already shipped their item to them but would not have had I know. I was buying from Extreme Terrain again. I WILL NOT BUY ANYTHING ELSE FROM THIS STORE OR SITE I can only hope that they will go out of business thanks to the terrible treatment of their customers.

      I received the wrong components from Extreme Terrain. I ordered the Rugged Ridge 2-Inch Receiver Hitch with 1-7/8-Inch Ball (***** Jeep Wrangler JK) on 9/9/2024. The receiver hitch I received was fine and went on without a problem, but I was sent the wrong receiver hitch draw bar and ball. It was both a different bar than the one the pictured and the bar did not accommodate the ball that was provided. That is, it was UNUSABLE. I called Extreme Terrain right away and then spent A WEEK working through the return/exchange process (this involved taking and sending pictures and waiting, waiting, and waiting. After waiting almost a week after my first call for a reply on replacing the wrong draw bar and ball, I contacted Extreme Terrain again only to be told they don't know- this boggles my mind. They were apparently waiting for the manufacture. Note: Extreme Terrain appears to be a drop shipper, which apparently means they don't take any responsibility for incorrect items and replacing them and kept telling me they are reaching out the the manufacturer for instructions. After a week of not having any clear sense that the problem would be rectified, I finally decided to just return everything, which meant removing the hitch assembly, taking more pictures, and waiting for a return label (which they apparently have to coordinate with the manufacturer for as well). This is all just plain stupid and I should have shop directly with the manufacturer. After all of this, I've spent time under my Jeep installing and uninstalling a hitch assembly and am still waiting for a return label. Needless to say, I currently can't tow anything after ordering these parts almost a month ago. FYI - while I continue to wait on a return, I decided to place an second order with *************, which has so far been a positive experience. This experience with Extreme Terrain was the worst online shopping experience I've had in years (easily) and I will NEVER shop with them again.

      I received the order, but the 3rd brake light which was described in the catalog as "smoke" is actually clear.I contacted customer service and submitted pictures but have yet to get any kind of return information. Not sure if it's me or them, but until this gets resolved I can't comment positively or negative.

      Well I made three orders, two were shipped the day I ordered, and tgat was on a Sunday. I was very impressed. I revived an email on Monday stating that the third order was on back order with the manufacturer, and it would be 12 or more weeks to receive it. I canceled that order and they processed it on Monday and issued a refund to my card. That too was impressive. I think this is a good company, but should inform you if an item will take that long to receive, in order for you to proceed or not order.
