Do not book with Cheap *********! Worst customer service ever! Wait on hold for hours, overcharged by over $2000, still waiting for refund!!! We are back from our trip and have still not received the refund that they promised by multiple agents. Worst experience we have ever had with a travel company. We paid twice what we would have with any other company.....they randomly charged us another $2000 when the trip was paid in full!!! Help please!!!!Review from Michelle S

Booked a vacation for 5 nurses, it was the worst vacation ever. There were roofers working on our roof at random times starting early in the morning so they would wake us up. The entire building smelled of tar from the roofers. The food was inedible—-we ALL got food poisoning the first 2 days until we realized we could only eat rice if we didn’t want to vomit and have diarrhea. When I tried talking to the front desk, they said “ooo try this other restaurant “. Which we did and the result was the same. Then they told me we should have said something sooner when we told them on day 3 we were still unhappy with the food. Also their systems went down while trying to checkout to get to the airport. I had already given them my credit card to run but the system went down right after so they couldn’t tell if it went through. I pulled up my credit card website and showed them it went through and they still insisted on running my card again! They attempt to refuse letting us leave, to the point we almost missed our flight. Cheap Caribbean has the worst customer service I have had to deal with in a long time. They made an error and took absolutely no responsibility for that. I booked three rooms (1-Me/Husband; 2-My son/girlfriend; 3-Daughter/Boyfriend.) Instead, they only booked two of them, my children, NOT US WHO PAID FOR THE TRIP!). When they were notified, they took no actions to rectify the situation. The hotel found another room for us, but stated we may have to switch the next day. Which I think is ridiculous, having to unpack, repack, unpack again. Especially after paying $12,000 for this trip. They also made an error with the $500 excursion I pre-booked. They said we took the trip when we weren’t even in the country. They tried to put the blame back on the hotel. But of course the hotel pushed it back onto Cheap Caribbean since we booked our trip through them. If you want to spend five hours waiting on hold and being disconnected several times along with getting the runaround? Then this must be the company for you. I will never use this company ever again. And I’ll make sure everyone I know hears about it. During our stay, we had several ant infestations. Some were in the shower area and other areas of the room. they did try to spray the areas, but they were never successful in their attempts. We also had cockroaches along with clumps of hair in the Jacuzzi tub. Because we booked from Cheap Caribbean, the hotel did not compensate us for the stress from checking in and not getting all three rooms. The best they could do was give us access to the private beach to which we weren’t able to use because we already had planned excursions. They also said they would give us preferred reservations for the private restaurants. But of course they made errors and only booked two of us six making us wait almost an hour for our dinner. NEVER BOOK A TRIP THROUGH THIS HORRENDOUS COMPANY!Review from Michele B

BEWARE OF THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! Absolutely would NEVER recommend this terrible company ever again. They took NO responsibility for not reserving all three rooms for my family. Which didn’t even include one for us, the parents. They booked only two for our children. And we were told that there is no room for us after arriving from our 12-hour traveling to this resort. And they will try to find us one. But we will probably have to move the next day. They only booked two when I proved I booked three. They refused to make any attempt to rectify the situation. Instead, they decided to pass the blame onto the hotel. Which the hotel said Cheap Caribbean is at fault since we booked it from them. I spent 4 1/2 hours on my first day waiting on hold to get some kind of communication. To which I was only disconnected over and over. Cheap Caribbean also messed up our pre-booked excursion. They said we already had the cruise the day we weren’t even in that country!?! Impossible to do. I would recommend NEVER using this company. Perhaps use Apple vacations. I had no issues with them in the past. I have just never had a company to NOT make any attempt to make things right. They feel the hotel giving us access to a premier area was a good compensation. We were not able to use that because we already pre-booked other excursions. So we never were compensated in anyway for the poorly organized, Cheap Caribbean. Horrible service . Had to cancel a trip bought travel protection. They refused to refund the money back . Customer care representative Braulio Mendez lied to us about everything and gave a lot wrong information . He declined to provide information for an email and also denied the access to a supervisor . When we requested an email to file a complaint or to speak to a supervisor none was available . This call took place 1/12 1 at 9:53am the other one at 12:42pm. . An awful company that never gives full disclosure what they are truly selling you and never takes cate of any problems you have once you are there! Never recommending or using them again. Stick with the more reliable sites!!Review from Tonya S

We have booked with cheap carribean for 15 years and never had a problem, until this time. We have booked twice for a cabo trip for our anniversary and with 12 others. The first time we were scammed for $340 and told we needed to upgrade airfare. We filed a claim, and nothing has been done. So we booked again for the same trip, and they canceled it so far for no reason or resolution. We have contacted them several time with no response. So as of now we are out the airfare we already paid for. The kicker we have a trip to the Dominican Republic for the beginning of December and that has not been a problem so far. The first time we booked for cabo and was scammed they were able to see the trip to the Dominican Republic. How is this possible? We have always used them without a problem. Now we can't get any answers why it was canceled . The trip did not have insurance on it, so how can it be canceled. At this point we are getting a lawyer so someone else can try to make sense out it and hopefully get all the money back. Please becareful when booking with cheap carribean. They are not the same as they were.Review from Laurie W

Lies!! They lie about their deals and get you to put in your credit card info and then either take that information or continue to say things like “can’t find card info, or not valid, ETC”..,just enough to get you to LOOSE whatever deal they say they were offering!! I’m so disappointed because I have. A lot of friends that travel and only a few of them have had good experiences with this website! Such a shame!
