      I purchased the cheapCaribbean.com travel insurance plus. When I tried to use the insurance all I got from their operators was lies and misinformation. They tried to lie what was in the contract and then changed their stories when I read the contract to them. This happened over and over. They wanted me to pay to change my reservation even though that's what the insurance is for. 9400 dollar vacation plus 672 for the insurance and they wanted me to pay to change even though the contract states changes are allowed with the insurance. I feel robbed and they done have a real claims site. You can only call their *******322 number that is a call center in Mexico. No hello what's so ever. I've emailed them and sent them a comment through their website and I've heard nothing. Total farce and a breach of contract

      Horrible experience with this company. Firstly, I purchased their travel insurance that they tell you that you can cancel for any reason and when one of my party could not make it, Cheap Carribean did not honor it. They said I did not cancel the trip for this person that could not go and after I sent them proof that I did, they made other excuses such as needing a doctors note which doesn’t even make sense because it’s travel protection from canceling for any reason. Secondly, they are just con artists. The representatives just tell you anything you want to hear. I had to upgrade right before our trip because I did some research and found out that many things the representative that help me booked my trip lied about many details about the resort. In short, just not a stand up company and I would recommend them.

      Stay away!

      Gimmick!!

      Unethical business!!!

      We were sent to an extremely bad location in Dominican Republic, with mid night flights inbound and early morning return flights. The resort had check in issues (being early morning arrival) and we were blamed for it.

      Our room was changed three times. The toilet, a/c, fan, shower and locks had issues. What broke camel's back was the water leak from the ceiling drop by drop and my wife slipped on it. She was taken to a local doctor, to hospital and on top of that the hotel thought they were doing us a favor by providing treatment. We have many photos and videos.

      Upon return, Cheap Carribean completely failed to address any of the issues and our repeated complaints to resolve the issues raised. We did not book the birthday/wedding anniversary vacation to keep on changing rooms or to the local hospitals.

      They were not there to back us up, support us or help us at any time. We pleaded with them several time, but it fell on deaf ears.

      Try other companies. There are dozens of them.

      STAY AWAY.

      Repeatedly lied about issuing refunds for canceled return flights after they received our refund from the airline. Thieves and lies. Never again.

      I’ve used Cheapcaribbean many times over the past 15 years. Used them for travel to Mexico, the DR and Costa Rica. The latest change to their website when it comes to adding ground transportation and travel insurance I feel is cumbersome and could lead to only one person being booked for each service rather than all in the party.

      Nothing but a scam, great offers until you try to reserve then price doubles. Just saw offer for all inclusive hotel and flight from RDU for around $900 each, calendar even showed the days available then hit choose and price over $1800 each. False and misleading. Do NoT Use. Have seen offers and tried several time before and all the same...

      This is the worst travel company ever. Had to cancel our trip took the insurance out and they would not refund the money. Called everyday to the post travel department made excuses after excuses. Asked to speak to a manager “told me they don’t have anyone in that department. Reporting them to BBB and filing a complaint with the Court to get our money back

      These MFs messed up my mom birthday to JAMAICA!!!. I booked months ago. Got a reservation confirmation and everything. We needed to update the amount of guest going which was handled mighty quick with no issues. The agent ensured I would get my refund for that one guest issued to my credit card, but THAT WAS A LIE-ONLY A CREDIT TO BOOK WITH THEM AGAIN. Within 30 minutes of the end of the call we got an update confirmation. Same confirmation number but a totally different hotel 2 hrs away that was way cheaper than what I had paid in FULL! I called back and was put on hold for 2 hrs!!!! For them to come back and say it was THEY ERROR-and they will fix it, but have to wait on the hotel to respond. The next day I called back. I was on the phone from 9am to MF 4:17pm with the back and forth, putting me on hold saying the exact SAME THING “ we waiting on a response.” So I requested q refund since they was not gone resolved it. Again another hold time waiting on the manager to reply back! So right now-we HAVE NO REFUND AND A RESERVATION SOME WHERE WE NEVER HEARD OF!!!!!! $1500 just gone and we supposed to leave in 6 days!!!!! I don’t want any credit. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!
