    On 3/8/21, Culligan installed a rental softener for me. It worked very well for about a month. I noticed the washer wasn't soaping up as before, also I was using more shampoo & soap in the shower. Time passed and we got a delivery of salt when the technician found the unit was full of water. We waited for the part to come in and again I needed to be around for another appointment. I was told the problem was fixed. On that same day the service tech apparently took off the sump pump cover and never told me he couldn't get it back on. On another occasion I called because nothing was soaping up. Most recently I called to ask them to remove the unit because we are moving the end of June. I was told I would owe over $550.00 to buy out the rest of the contract. I told the gal to just forget it. A few days later a tech showed up at my door and said he was there to remove the unit. I told him I couldn't afford to buy out the contract. I also told him what a piece of crap this unit has been. He said he would take a look. He found a huge problem and was on the phone to his supervisor and mentioned I wanted a rebate for all the times this machine hasn't worked. He then told me to call the office, so I did. I spoke with ***** and told him the entire story and said I thought I should get a refund and to please take the machine. I didn't think I should pay anymore. He said he would get back to me. I haven't heard from him to date. The same tech came back a few days later to install the new part. I have since called ***** at their office and told him exactly what I said to *****, which is the General Manager, I believe. ***** said he would talk to management and get back to me. I have heard nothing, and it's been over 2 weeks.I canceled the automatic charge on my credit card. I'm not paying anymore for this substandard machine.
