      Had no issues using the extended warranty. Covered everything that was listed in purchased plan and got my car back quickly. The dealership I took my car too had no issues when calling the claim in. Paid for itself with this one use! Great aftermarket warranty company!

      I called spoke with a lady who was not very friendly at all. my car lot has me using this to fix my AC an per there requirements my car has to stay with the mechanic for the whole time before fixing , during, an after until the claim is closed. they don't refund the full amount for a rental. an even if the car is don't with in the same day , GUESS WHAT IT STILL HAS TO STAY AT THE ******* WHICH IS ALSO GETTING STORAGE FEE PER DAY THAT THEY DONT PAY FOR. THEY ONLY REIMBURSE 25 BUCKS A DAY. AN ITS A TIGHT STIPULATION ON THIS. So tell me how is one to get back an forth to work or even justify how many days ill need transportation for if the person who does the claims are so far behind... this seems like a scam....so my car will sit for a week or two just to fix a ac condenser. mean while the rental is 35 a day with 250 deposit an a credit card. not everyone uses credit cards. so now what do your customers do? this should be a two day process at the most... but NOPE...... BIG SCAMMMMM........ IM GOING TO LET THE CARLOT KNOW AS WELL. MAYBE THEY CAN CHANGE PLACES THEY USE IF THEY CARE ABOUT THE CONSUMERS. WHICH IT SHOWING THIS CARLOT AN THIS CAR PLUS IS THE SAME....... SCAMMERS. . YOU MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR CONSUMERS TO GET AN EASY FIX AS YOU SAY... NOTHING EASY ABOUT ANY OF THIS... STAY AWAY FAR AWAY.......... ILL BE LEAVBING THIS SAME REVIEW ALL OVER SOCAIL MEDIA AN YELP, GOOGEL TOO. I HAVE OVER 48K FOLLOWERS ON BOTH PLATFORMS. I PRAY I REACH YOUR CUNSUMERS. Information regarding how a mechanical claim can be opened is located at ***********. In the Terms and Conditions of your *************** Contract (VSC). Specific to your concern about the vehicle remaining on site for the duration of the mechanical claim, Provision 5. (a.): 5. SERVICE CONTRACT CLAIM PROCEDURES: FAILURE BY YOU OR YOUR REPAIR FACILITY TO FOLLOW THESE CLAIM PROCEDURES MAY DELAY AND/OR RESULT IN CLAIM DENIAL. TO AVOID DELAY, FOLLOW THE CLAIM PROCEDURES LISTED BELOW: a. Your Vehicle must be at a qualified repair facility, of Your choosing, in *****************, CAPABLE TO: (1) perform tear-down to the point of component failure, (2) determine the cause of failure and extent of damage, and (3) rebuild the component, if necessary or requested. The Vehicle MUST REMAIN at the same repair facility until repairs are complete. If Your Vehicle is removed the claim will be closed. If Your repair facility is unwilling or unable to work with Us, then We reserve the right to require You to choose another repair facility.There are several reasons a vehicle needs to remain on site after the mechanical claim has been opened, some being, preventing against further damage caused by continued vehicle operation, changes in mileage to the vehicle which could result in VSC expiration, CARS may need pictures and/or further diagnostic information from your repair facility that could not be obtained if the vehicle was not on site.Rental benefits are specific to each customers individual VSC.       I cancelled my contract within the 30 days, I have not received my refund, nor do they answer the phone when I call. I wish I would have researched the company before I purchased the contract!

      The CARS Protection ********* (CARS) ************************ is in receipt of your BBB review regarding your cancellation and refund and responds as follows:On May 26, 2023, CARS received your cancellation form, which was received within the first thirty (30) days of coverage; therefore, you are entitled to a full refund of the purchase price of your VSC. CARS processed your cancellation on June 5, 2023, and then CARS submitted CARS portion of your refund to your lienholder via check pursuant to the Cancellation Provisions of your VSC as follows:7. CANCELLATION PROVISIONS: - ALL REQUESTED CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS MUST BE IN WRITING AND WILL BE PROCESSED THROUGH YOUR LIENHOLDER, IF ANY, OR YOUR SELLING DEALER. IF FINANCED, YOU AGREE YOUR LIENHOLDER IS A JOINT PAYEE TO RECEIVE ANY APPLICABLE REFUND. ANY CANCELLED CONTRACT IS VOID AND WILL NOT BE REINSTATED.a. You may cancel this Service Contract for a full refund within the first 30 days from the Effective Date provided no claim has been made.b. Within the first 30 days from the Effective Date, if a claim has been made You may cancel this Service Contract for a monthly prorated refund, less any claims paid or authorized for payment, less an administration fee of $50.00 Along with the check, CARS also provided your lienholder with the breakdown letter of the amount of monies owed from both CARS and the selling dealer. CARS also submitted a breakdown letter to the selling dealer advising of the cancellation and their responsibility to submit their portion of the refund to your lienholder.Please be advised CARS check to your lienholder cleared on June 20, 2023. CARS has also reached out to the selling dealer who stated their portion of the refund due will be sent to your lienholder.       They try each and every opportunity not to honor the contract. Lack of integrity.Calling a supervisor is a joke , I called a claim supervisor and he really doesn't care even to hear my explanation. You will not be treated like someone who has business with them.

      The CARS Protection ********* (CARS) ************************ is in receipt of your BBB review regarding a denied mechanical claim and responds as follows:On June 15, 2023, a repair facility opened a mechanical claim on behalf of your vehicle. When opening the mechanical claim, the repair facility reported a current vehicle mileage that was past the expiration mileage of your *************** Contract (VSC); therefore, the mechanical claim was denied. On June 16, 2023, you contacted CARS stating your repair facility had given an incorrect mileage and that your vehicle was still within the effective mileage of your VSC. CARS claims adjuster explained that the repair facility would need to submit a picture of the vehicles odometer to prove this.On June 19, 2023, CARS received the picture of the correct odometer mileage, and the mechanical claim was reopened. This error was made by your repair facility, not CARS.On June 19, 2023, CARS claims adjuster called your repair facility twice to explain how to proceed with the mechanical claim and was unable to speak to a repair facility employee or leave a voice message as the repair facilitys voice mailbox was full. On June 20, 2023, CARS claims adjuster contacted the repair facility again and spoke to a repair facility employee. CARS claims adjuster explained that the repair facility needed to obtain your authorization to tear the vehicle down to the point that the cause of failure and extent of damage could be provided to CARS. The repair facility stated they would contact you.On June 20, 2023, you called CARS and CARS claims adjuster explained to you that CARS would need the cause of failure and extent of damage before proceeding with the mechanical claim. During this phone call, CARS claims adjuster explicitly stated not to have the vehicle repaired before authorization was given by CARS.On June 21, 2023, CARS received an estimate and pictures from your repair facility. On this same date, CARS claims adjuster spoke to your repair facility and explained that an independent inspection was being ordered and that there would be a third-party inspector sent to the repair facility to inspect the damage to your vehicle.The independent inspection company attempted to contact your repair facility via phone multiple times and was unable to reach a repair facility employee.On June 23, 2023, just four (4) days after the mechanical claim was reopened, before the third-party inspector was able to reach the repair facility to set-up the inspection, your repair facility contacted CARS and stated the repairs had been completed. CARS claims adjuster explained that CARS would be unable to assist as there was no authorization given by CARS for the repairs. See your VSC at Provision 3. (c.): COMPONENTS AND EXPENSES NOT COVERED (Applies to all SCHEDULE OF COVERAGE levels): Any repair done without prior authorization from Us.If you need to use your VSC for any future covered mechanical failures, please be sure to take your vehicle to a repair facility that is willing to follow the claim procedures at Provision 5.       I dont like to write bad reviews, but this company should not be a company! This value plus protection plan is a complete scam! Im basically coming out of pocket for more than half the repairs so Im basically paying for a warranty for nothing because its barely coming in handy! You would think, you would try to put your customers first and give them the best experience because without us there is no you!!! Your hourly pay towards labor work is a joke unless youre going to some mom and pop shop! My Infiniti is the first vehicle Ive ever had to use my warranty for and this has so far been the worst experience ever!!! Shame on this company!!!!

CARS has reviewed the two (2) mechanical claims opened on behalf of your vehicle and some of your out-of-pocket costs have been the following:On most mechanical claims you have the option to have CARS ship CARS supplied parts and assist with the labor or take the claim allowance and have your repair facility supply the parts. If you opted to take the claim allowance and have your repair facility supply the parts, you were responsible for any overage between the cost of CARS supplied parts and the cost of the repair facilitys parts.Your *************** Contract (VSC) assists with up to $70.00 per hour on a covered mechanical repair. Your chosen repair facilities both had hourly labor rates of $145.00 per hour; therefore, you were responsible for the difference.Your VSC has a $100.00 per mechanical claim deductible. CARS VSCs offer stated labor rates as high as $225.00 per hour on a covered repair, with some paying any repair facilities posted labor rate and mechanical claims are adjudicated using the Terms and Conditions of each customers individual *************** Contract (VSC).       Used for first time. On road towing service worked well and they followed up a number of times to make sure help had arrived. Also used for a covered part replacement of $800 and this worked smoothly in conjunction with the dealership repair facility. A couple other calls to customer service were answered without much wait time. This first time went well.
