1 starToll Brothers at Cadence ignored a majority of my service requests for my 30 day warranty period including mold remediation, foundation and grading problems, plumbing problems, electrical, and roof repairs all backed up by a 3rd party inspection identifying the issues as needing immediate repair. During the first year we identified a leak in the wall from a severed hvac condensate main drain line which caused black mold to grow for months while the ac unit ran during the summer, this was located in my daughters play room. Neither the ac contractor or toll brothers checked or tested this and the city failed to identify it as well during their inspection for occupancy. We still have black mold in another location that was never addressed during 30 day. We’ve requested another remediation team come out and handle the black mold that’s been present a year and service request is on hold.Toll Brothers, Incorporated

1 starHorror....Horrific experience. Please don't buy from this builder. They definitely need to take the luxury out of their brand.
Unless it depends where they are building. I bought a single store in Elgin as a retirement home. The entire process was BAD. They blamed everything on COVID which was no excuse for poor craftsmanship.
My backyard is a hill. In proper grading. I am 67 years old and I used to enjoy mowing my yard. But my current yard from the "luxury" builder is not an enjoyable yardwork experience.Toll Brothers, Incorporated

The Senior Project Manager confirmed that she met with you to discuss your backyard and noted that the construction team has made several adjustments to the grade to help the slope but you still feel the yard is not usable. She agreed to discuss your backyard further with the engineering team. She will share any feedback after meeting with the engineering team. 1 starWe purchased our Toll home JuLy 2022. We have had 5 different customer service representatives. We have had over 100 service requests for repairs needed in our new home. Our most recent problem, a water leak in our pantry. We were told we would be reimbursed for meals and housing during the time of 15 days displaced by this water leak. Toll brothers is not approving our reimbursement correctly and our water leak repairs are still not complete. The house and product they represent is a true disappointment and now to not fairly reimburse what was promised is even worse! Very poor business practices.Toll Brothers, Incorporated

1 starWorst builder I have ever bought a home from. These folks running a scam company delivering low quality homes but they are promoting as luxurious homes. Their homes looks great from
Outside. But their customer service and quality of the build is the worst I have ever seen. I have seen better houses built by local builders. Just don’t pay for brand name with low quality construction. Before you buy any home from toll brothers, talk to the owners in the community. You will be surprised to hear that they are charging premium cost but only delivering less than avg quality house. They are smart that they trained how to deal with unhappy customers and call them down with false promises and eventually homeowners will give up and take care of things themselves. Obviously they can’t talk bad because that reflects bad on their home value. Toll brothers is EVIL corporation.Toll Brothers, Incorporated

1 starMy parents had a house built this year in the Woodson's Reserve in Spring, TX. An additional water valve was not included in my laundry room. The water valve was installed and Toll Brother's sent out a contractor to repair the dry wall. The Contractor showed up at the house and my Mother instructed the individual to cover the counters in the laundry room so that dust would not be all over the place. The Contractor did not cover anything. She asked him three times to cover the items in the laundry room before beginning to work. After her multiple attempts went ignored she asked the individual to leave her home. He replied that he was not going anywhere. She asked him several times to leave and he refused. Thank God that another contractor that was hired by my Mom was there doing some electrical work and he intervened and made the individual leave. My Mother is elderly, what if she would have been by herself? Toll Brother's hires any and everyone. They build million dollar homes and get individuals to do the work for little to nothing. My Mom is uncomfortable with any of their contractors coming back into the house to finish the work. Toll Brother's work is shody to say the least. I have had several problems with them and it is always a hassle to get things fixed. Beware when Toll Brother's sends contractors to your house. Be Protected.Toll Brothers, Incorporated

Thank you for sharing your review of Toll Brothers. We are very sorry to hear about your mother’s experience with the contractor. All Toll Brothers trade partners are required to maintain the highest standards in customer service and we have taken steps with the contractor’s employer (trade partner) to address the situation and canceled all future repairs involving this trade partner. The local customer care representative will reschedule the drywall repair with another trade partner when you are ready. Please contact your local customer care representative when you are ready to proceed with the repairs. Thank you.Review fromPascoal R

1 starThe Adero Canyon Toll Brothers crew in Fountain Hills, AZ has been disappointing us for about 20 months now. From major delays to a lack of communication regarding significant structural changes, they simply have done the opposite of the expectations that were set in the sales center on day one. If you're looking to commit to a home in the Adero Canyon, be warned. This team excels in bluntly lying to your face, over and over, without remorse. It almost feels like they were trained to run their business that way by senior leadership, as the ********** ****** ****** representative was equally deceitful. They have put our family through major hardships and accrued damages. I believe every one-star review I have read on BBB. Think twice if you're considering Toll Brothers to deliver your dream home.Toll Brothers, Incorporated

We strive to provide an exceptional experience for our customers. Thanks for the response, Toll Brothers. My review is simply intended to inform and warn potential customers of what they can expect from you as a builder. The closing date was moved at least 4 times, and that was already after many months of delays. I’m sure “the team” confirmed that all was well and taken care of, but don’t forget my original sentiment - honesty is not your team’s strong suit. Sounds like they informed you of a couple issues, but the problems were endless. I have dozens of examples of poor communication and their inability to follow the plans they created and used to sell the project. If you truly care to learn about how you can improve your business, reach out to your customers and inquire about what is really going on. Getting clarification from the individuals who are the problem to craft a generic response is a huge mistake and proves my point, that this is a company-wide problem, and you’re not actually interested in fixing anything.Review fromEllen W

1 starWe have had our house for 4 years and have nothing but problems with two of our bathrooms with ventilation and paint peeling over and over. We spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on our new home only to have horrible ventilation or craftsmanship. We have tried to reach out over and over to toll brothers an have been ignored. I don't recommend them at all for building you a home.Review fromTeresa R

1 starExtremely disappointed with the quality of service-Regency at Summerlin. I switched lots and had to take the existing structural features since they were approved by the city. This cost me tens of thousands of dollars in additional fees. I was then forced to close 2 months earlier than requested and threatened with a nasty email and fine. I was overseas at the time so it was difficult. I arrived at my new home and there are MANY issues that need fixing including the installation of an electrical outlet behind a gas stove. TB fixed that issue but now, over 3 months after closing, I am waiting for shelving to be re-installed. The Designer and I discussed options that I am told were not in the construction plans so I do not have the bathroom features I wanted. The bathroom shower heads are too high for me to reach and TB will not install extension rods. My yard had trash, including razor blades and cigarettes-it was obviously not cleaned. The Designer and the design plans show a window in the master bath. I am told this will not be installed. The Designer told me my cabinets would not have stiles but the construction team tells me the cabinets need the supports. There is a lack of communication between the two groups. Each time I speak with TB they tell me they are sorry but there is no recourse for me-they are indifferent and I am exceptionally disappointed in the quality of a home they delivered. Cracks in the molding/caulking, paint spots on the flooring. Cracks in tiles in the bathroom. Workers came to install a duct and told me the drywall was too damaged so they could not conduct the repair. It's no fun scheduling the work and not feeling settled 3 months after closing. In addition many work orders are closed out by the customer care team telling me they are not under warranty. Really horrible and stressful experience. I am one of the last homes sold and I believe they just want to get out of the community and wrap things up.Toll Brothers, Incorporated

1 starPurchased a condominium home in a Toll development in Massachucetts(Regency at Glen Ellen in Millis). So many problems. A/C barely worked on second floor but after every song and dance in the book they refused to resolve the problem. Did a few things like moving the furnace over 8 feet, wider duct work and “balanced system” but never addressed main problem of undersized unit. Today it is set at 70 and temperature is 78. Only 79 degrees outside.
When first moved in they forgot to put any heating ducts in the two first floor bathrooms. After months of waiting finally did a very poor job so that the master bathroom still always cold in the winter.
The list goes on and on.
My advise -stay away from Toll-only in it for the profit. Not a quality company.
