I signed into a contract with jg Wentworth. I was sent a 350 dollar check as a signing bonus. The check doesn't have an issuing bank listed and also warns a few times that it must be activated. Nobody in town will touch the check. I even took to ***** *********** and they refused to open an account with it. I've given Wentworth a few days to correct with no luck. They are talking to me as if I'm being dishonest about not getting it cashed. I also offered to send it back and void it out. Just 5 minutes ago, the rep *** said he for a fact will not send another one out. It's seems like they tricked me to sign the contract.Business Response

This company has been harassing me for the last 7 years. I have called and answered calls where I have begged them to stop and they just won’t! They lie and say they will stop but they never do! I receive postal mail disguised to trick you to open it almost every day by this company. I even switched my phone number so I would stop receiving unsolicited calls and they somehow found my new number. This is illegal! Stop sending me mail! Stop calling me! I am not interested in your services and I never will be! This feels scary at the point! Leave me alone!! I am begging!!Business Response

This company keeps spamming me via email even though I have unsubscribed from them multiple times (i never subscribed). I have had no dealings or contact with them whatsoever prior to unsubscribing.Business Response

I receive 3-5 unsolicited emails from this company EVERY DAY. I have tried to unsubscribe to no avail. I have no idea how they got my email address. I want them to stop sending me the exact same email hundreds of times every month.Business Response

A few months ago I applied for a personal loan online. As a result of my application no loan was ever discussed but the original company sent my information, without my approval, to JG Wentworth for a debt consolidation program. I explained to the rep I was transferred to, that I'm no interested in a debt consolidation program because it would affect my credit rating. Since then I've asked them numerous times to stop contacting me that I'm not interested in their program but they are still sending me emails trying to get me to enroll in their program. The most recent email I received on Monday 08/14/23 @ 9:03 a.m from ***** ****. I called in and tried to speak with ***** but once again the person was not available so I told the person on the phone to stop sending me emails as I was not interested in their services. This is nothing more that harassment in an attempt to get people to enroll in their program even after telling them several times that I'm not interested. I entered into a debt settlement agreement with JG Wentworth and have been paying them since 2022 on time. I requested a payoff amount. First they told me it was $1,378.00. Now theyre telling me its $4,900.00. I need to know where the is big difference in payoff amount came about. Every time I call they say they will call me back and nobody is getting back to me. Someone must have sold my email to JG Wentworth and now I’m getting inundated with emails from them. I did not sign up nor do I want anything to do with them and would like to be removed from any future emails. The same happened with ********* ****. I am dubious about replying or unsubscribing and hoping you can help get them to stop harassing me with countless emails.
