We bought a house in 2023 from a senior citizen who was unable to give us any information about when he got the roof redone. (We did not pay for this service) We have been dealing with extensive water damage issues over the last 2 years. Insurance came twice said theres no storm damage so then we called two separate roofers that both took pictures and showed us that the roof was improperly installed and the pictures show the exact spots where we have damage inside. I called the city and had the permit pulled and it showed this company as the ones who did it. I called the company and they told me Im not the origional owner theres nothing they could do. I asked even if the roof you put on damaged my home theres nothing you can do? The representative stated no and to call the shingle warranty company. I now have a home with water damage inside two separate rooms and and damaged window as well. We have a toddler and a new baby coming and we cant even use one of the rooms for the baby because we have to replace the drywall. They installed the roof wrong for the senior citizen that payed for it and have passed the damage on to us the new buyers without even a second thought of trying to help fix what they did wrong.

Good morning,
Thank you for taking the time to contact us about your remodeling experience. We take feedback from homeowners like you very seriously. I apologize for any frustration or aggravation this issue may have caused. I have reviewed your complaint and personally looked into the matter.
Power installed a new roofing system on the home you purchased in 2019. The roof installed was covered by a pro-rated, transferable product warranty offered through the material manufacturer, and a non-transferable labor warranty offered through Power. Other than a minor concern in a different part of the home reported by the original purchaser in 2020, which was rectified at the time, Power has not been notified of any other concerns with the roofing system. Unfortunately, when you purchased the home in 2023 the labor warranty coverage terminated and Power is no longer responsible for any labor related concerns with the roofing system installed on your home. If you suspect a material defect may be responsible at least in part for the concerns you mentioned it is Powers recommendation you reach out to *** directly to take advantage of any product warranty coverage you may be entitled to. Power will not be able to assist you any further with the roof concerns art your home.
Thank you,

I am rejecting this response because:As I stated before. You installed roof on our property 5 years ago. Yes, the owner did not pass on the warranty to us as he was a senior citizen who did not even remember when he replaced it. It took two years for us between insurance and trying to fix the problem ourselves to get to this point which is why we never made a complaint before as we did not even know who installed it or when. We had to reach out to the city to find that information. You installed it improperly and resulted in damage to our home as documented by TWO separate roofing companies and you will not even work with us to fix the issue you caused. Its also very shady to see such a terrible job done on a roof for the senior citizen who paid for the work to be done. A roof should last more than 5 years and as a buisness you should take some pride in your work instead of washing your hands clean blaming the new owners for not coming forward sooner.

Three years ago we had Solar installed, it took the company almost a year to get it up and running. Their contractor fell through our ceiling and they did a terrible job repairing the hole. The container they used damaged our driveway and while installing the siding they replaced the awning off center so it now hangs low on one side. Last year we called about warping to the siding, they came out and dropped some materials said they would be back, and rescheduled 3 times before eventually showing up and nothing getting repaired/replaced because they were unable to tint my next door neighbors windows. Which is what they say is the reason for the warping. This June the solar stopped working and our electric bill sky rocketed. Weve called the company six or seven times since then and have been told the solar Director will call us back. No one has ever called. The last excuse they told me is because the director lost my information. I am beyond frustrated and need this issue to be rectified immediately. We are paying three to four times more than we should for electric because of their faulty equipment and they have the absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my life.

Good morning,
Thank you for taking the time to contact us about your remodeling experience. We take feedback from homeowners like you very seriously. I apologize for any frustration or aggravation this issue may have caused. I have reviewed your complaint and personally looked into the matter.
The concerns with the siding on the home are due to solar reflection, which is not covered under the siding manufacturers product warranty nor by Power, who only covers the labor portion of the warranty coverage. With that in mind, when it was reported to Power that the source of the solar reflection had been rectified, a Power Installation Manager returned to the home on 10/30/2025 to begin the repairs to the siding, free of charge. A follow-up visit is already scheduled for 11/6/2025 and the remaining siding concerns can be reviewed at that time.
Also on 11/6/2025, Powers Installation Manager will be checking your solar system for proper operation. SolarEdge, which is the manufacturer of the monitoring system installed with your solar system, indicates that the system is likely still producing and has been since the June time frame that you indicate it stopped. Communication between the monitoring system and SolarEdge has been intermittent and appears to have stopped completely at some point due to a power surge that your utility company has acknowledged occurred. This does not mean the system stopped producing, however it would mean that the monitoring would not be accessible for this period of time.
We look forward to reviewing all of this with you on-site on 11/6/2025.
Thank you,

Window in front was noted at time of installation having a loose glazing bead around the frame. He said he noted the problem. Two months passed no repair and now there is silicon oozing between the glass panes. Since the glazing bead secures the glass this is a safety concern. An email was sent to phxrio@powerhrg. com today with photos. This seems to be a manufacturing defect and not an installation problem.

The service man arrived 11/6/2025 with no ID badge, no service or work order, no equipment and wanted entry into my home. I refused. I spoke with ******* the same day at 11:09 am. I notified him the service man had no window replacement or ID. He said he would handle this and send me an email. No notifications whatsoever. Original photos were submitted to the email at the Phoenix office . ************************************ in c/o Jacob
Multiple phone calls made and they have no way to speak to anyone except through their corporate office ************ number. No accountability. I also mentioned to **** after the windows were installed the installer used my kitchen canola spray to ease the lifting of the window. I also pointed out that the glazing bead on the exterior was loose. He said he would note that but never followed through. So now I have caulking oozing out, loose glazing bead and an inappropriate spray used to raise the window. This company is reckless and poor representation of the Pella product. I want the project fixed or completed.

The Installation Manager on-site was equipped and prepared to properly address the concerns with the window but, as you have outlined, you refused this service. The adhesive that you have indicated both in the past and at the time of service was in between the panes of glass is not. This adhesive and the glazing bead can both be addressed on-site without the need for replacement product. Power was not permitted to perform this work so this work not performed.
If you wish to have the service addressed, please reach out to Powers *************************** at the phone number below and a representative will be happy to facilitate that for you.

I had purchased windows with this company and informed there was a lifetime warranty on the windows. I called today for a replacement and was told the window company is no longer in business that they used so i will have to pay more money to replace the windows as their warranty now only covers the labor and does not cover the actual window. Only reason i bought the windows was due to the lieftime warranty if anything breaks just call them and they will replace. They are not honoring the warranty i was provided. Never explained that if the company that made the windows went out of biz that the lifetime warranty would be null

The lifetime guarantees provided to you for the window project completed at your home consist of a product warranty and a labor warranty. Power, as the installing dealer, provides the labor warranty. The product warranty is offered through the manufacturer, not Power. Power does not manufacture windows and instead is partnered with several window manufacturers who offer warranties for the products, much like a car warranty is offered by the vehicle manufacturer and not the dealership from which you bought the car. The manufacturer of your windows, ***************************, is no longer producing the line of window that was installed in your home. Neither the color of your window nor the spacer system, which has been discontinued worldwide, are available any longer. Manufacturers often change their products. The great news here is that, with Powers assistance, your window manufacturer has secured the necessary materials and set up a special production line just for Power customers so that we can still provide you with a window sash that will work for your needs.
Power has a long-standing history of taking care of our customers by doing the right thing. We are happy to share that the cost of this solution is also being subsidized by Power and that the cost that Power provided you in the form of a written quote on 10/22/2025 is well below the retail value of the replacement window sash being provided. In addition, all of the labor costs that would normally be provided under Powers lifetime labor warranty, ordering the materials on your behalf, receiving and warehousing the material, and installation, are still covered. The quote you were provided is good for 30 days. If you wish to move forward with the replacement window sashes, please fill out and sign the provided quote through Powers Project Pulse app and a Power representative will be in contact with you to schedule their replacement as soon as your window sashes arrive.

We had a large window install job over the summer. For 2 months now we have been trying to get a final inspection redone because the installers failed the first inspection for insufficient caulking. A quality control person was sent out after the first part of the job was completed and we have just been completely abondoned at this point. No quality control person ever visited after the installation was completed. The job has still not passed the inspection and ***** told my wife today to pound sand. THIS IS A FAILED INSPECTION. What kind of contractor fails an inspection and doesn't follow up???????

Powers local installation office has maintained consistent and regular contact with you, via phone and e-mail, in regards to the necessary township inspections to complete the second window project at your home. Power has never said nor implied that it is not willing to assist you with the inspection process, nor has any necessary repair derived from the inspection process not been remedied. The last two scheduled inspections with your local building department were both deemed to have "failed" because no one was home the day the inspection was scheduled and Power offered to send you the necessary documents so that you could schedule the inspection at your convenience with the building department directly. Powers hope was that with Power as the middleman in the process you may have more luck scheduling a convenient date for the final inspection and that the local building department inspector would be able to communicate any changes with you directly. The final inspection on your first project was passed and has been closed and the only remaining open permit is the permit that pertains to the second window installation.
Power has been in contact with you as recently as today, 10/22/2025, with regard to this matter and if you need any further assistance Power is here to help.

I had Power Home Remodeling Group replace all the windows in my house (18 double hung, one picture window) in 2018. They did, after a long delay, install the windows, but within 18 months or so we began to notice mold growing between the panes of glass. We called, they came out to inspect and replaced several panes after an 8 month delay. This repeated a couple years later, with another half dozen panes including the picture window replaced. Now in Oct. 2025, more need replacing and they will not do so under the "Lifetime Warranty" they sold me. They are telling me the manufacturer was making a defective product, so they discontinued the product line and no longer will replace them. Their best offer when pressed was a cost to me of $180 per pane to replace them with a "new improved" product. I don't believe them and want my full money refunded so I can buy windows from a reputable company.

I am rejecting this response because: they have offered no replacement for all the defective windows. Offering for me pay to $180 per pane to have them replaced with something they cobbled together as a substitute. I have no reason to believe they have improved the window quality or will stand behind this product in any way. They cannot void a "lifetime warranty" because they discontinued making the defective product. I seek a full refund so I can put that hard-earned money into quality windows from a reputable supplier.
I am establishing a website describing my experiences with Power Home Remodeling, where I will be soliciting others insulted by this deal and the window quality for a class action lawsuit. I shall send the link and various social media posts to follow, look for that. Is there any particular person I should submit these to? I will start with the company owner and board of directors, if their contact info can be found.
Lie to me once, my bad. Lie to me again, not a chance.

Good morning,
Power Home Remodeling never offered a product warranty for the windows installed in your home, as Power does not manufacture any of the products it sells. Northeast Building Products, the manufacturer, is who your product warranty was through and Power, the selling dealer and installer, gave you a lifetime labor warranty. During the in-home sales presentation when Power's Remodeling Consultant was on-site, the relationship between Power Home Remodeling and it's manufacturing partners is covered in detail and the specifics of the window being installed in your home are outlined. The cost to manufacture, ship, warehouse, deliver and install a replacement sash in your home prior to ****************** Products termination of the warranty coverage was in excess of $500. While the cost to the end consumer was free under the terms of the now-defunct warranty agreement, that was the cost to Power and Northeast Building Products and that would be the cost to the end consumer if *************************** could still provide a replacement sash for your home. In lieu of this, Power has co-developed a replacement sash option for your home that otherwise would not exist. In other words, without doing so, you would have no option to have the window repaired or replaced at all. Furthermore, the cost of manufacturing, shipping, warehousing, delivering and installing this replacement window sash is only $180, far less than any alternative you will find. This is all due to decisions made by your window manufacturer, outside of Powers control.
If you wish to move forward with the replacement sash service at the quoted price, please reach out to Power's *************************** at the phone number below and a representative will be happy to assist you. Unfortunately, there is no other remedy available.**** *******

We got new siding and windows installed on 2023, everything was just fine for 2 years until this past spring we had a couple very ***** ******, a big piece of siding, at least 5x3, blue off from the second floor, right on top our kitchen, an area not very visible from the ground. Every time it rained we were having electrical issues in the kitchen, circuit breaker would be triggered and lights would go off, we thought it was just a coincidence until we saw the missing siding. We called Power in July and explained what was going on, so they could come and fix the siding, we got an appointment for September, in the meantime we called an electrician to come and check the electrical issues in the kitchen, nothing was wrong, got charged $200, and he said its very possible were getting water coming down inside the walls and causing shorts, which can also cause water damage and mold/mildew to form in areas we cant see.Power came and fix the siding, but, we still have issues every time it rains, only when it rains and a couple if days after it stops, lights dont work, so definitely water still getting in somehow. Power isnt doing anything about it, actually the want to come in December to check it out, and when my husband called them, they put him on hold for over an hour. Now theyre saying it must be the roof, that only 8 years old , and, was perfectly fine until the siding blew off. We still owe $200 to the electrician which Power said they would cover, never did.We want that area to be totally replaced and if we have damage inside the walls, they would cover the repairs.

Good morning,
Thank you for taking the time to contact us about your remodeling experience. We take feedback from homeowners like you very seriously. I apologize for any frustration or aggravation this issue may have caused. I have reviewed your complaint and personally looked into the matter.
Power was on-site in September to repair the missing siding panel. At that time, there was no indication that the wall the siding panel had come off of was allowing water into the home. The house is wrapped in a moisture barrier to prevent such occurrences. Power has return to the home since then to review the electrical concerns and thus far has not been able to trace these issues back to the siding installation. On 10/22/2025 Power was on-site to remove the siding from the side of the dormer completely and the wall was dry despite rain the previous day. The siding and flashing was re-installed and the dormer should still be water tight. There is no interior water damage below the dormer that would indicate a leak was ever present in this area and the electrical issues are not present on that side of the kitchen, rather on the other side near the sink. While on-site in September and in October Power has observed and subsequently notified you that the roof was not installed correctly where the roof meets roof/wall intersections and that your electric box is damaged and water is getting inside of the electric box when it rains.
Power has serviced the siding and confirmed the siding is not allowing an active leak in the home. If your electrical issues persist and/or can not be repaired by an electrician it is Powers professional opinion that the roof and the electrical box be addressed as soon as possible.
Thank you,

I had my windows in stalled by Power Home Remodeling (PHR) on September 8th 2025. The contractors removed my my blinds without notifying me or communicating with me what they did with the parts for the blinds. About 4 days after the installation, a PHR ***resentative came to my house for a quality check .I communicated to him that I was VERY disappointed that *** contractors removed my blinds and didn't tell me where the put the parts which was no where to be found in the house. The *** stated that he will let the home office aware and have someone reach out to me. On October 13th, I called PHR to let them know that no one ever reached out to me regrading the damaged and missing parts for my blinds. The *** them told me that I was ***onsible for the blinds based on the service agreement. I communicated to here if I was ***onsible then the work should not have started until I took the blinds down. If the contrators are going to take my blinds down without my permission and miss place and damage my blinds then they are ***onsible. As such, PHR needs put the blinds back where they found them and ***lace missing and damaged parts. P

Attached to this response you will find paperwork from the Pre-Installation Inspection that is both initialed and signed by you acknowledging the and blinds, drapes or other window coverings are the homeowners responsibility to remove and re-install before and after the window installation and that all blinds, drapes or other window coverings should be removed prior to Powers Installation team arriving at the home. The blinds in your home were not removed by that time and thus Powers installation team removed the blinds in order to move forward with completing the project installation. Now that the project has been completed and the blinds need to be re-installed, it remains your responsibility to re-install the blinds or to source someone who can for you. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, however Power was very transparent about this part of the process and unfortunately can not be responsible for the state of your window treatments.

On 10/6 I contact Power Remodeling for 2 replacement windows that had discolored. I was informed they are no longer honoring the lifetime warranty on original windows as the manufacturer no longer makes them. They can replace them at a cost of $180 per window and these windows will be covered under the warranty. In the stock answer to this similar complaint Power states that the original manufacturer has opened a line of production to manufacture replacement windows - so they are still manufacturing them!Power also maintains that the warranty is from the manufacturer. I called the manufacturer and spoke to the warranty manager and was told that this is not true as they are a wholesaler and the warranty is from Power. The manufacturer confirmed that they are still manufacturing the replacement windows for Power and should be covered under the warranty.Additionally- 3 years ago Power installed a replacement window that was a different brand at no cost. I dont know who to believe !

We are happy to share that the cost of this solution is also being subsidized by Power and that the cost that Power provided you in the form of a written quote on 10/7/2025 is well below the retail value of the replacement window sash being provided.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered]
Complaint: 23999771
I am rejecting this response because:the manufacturer warranty states that if an original part is not available they will replace it with an appropriate replacement- additionally, according to the manufacturer they are still producing replacements.

Good morning,
As explained previously, Power worked with the manufacturer to design and produce a suitable alternative to the sashes originally manufactured and installed in your home. This was in lieu of no alternative at all, which would leave you with defective sashes in your home until you elected to replace the windows. The cost of these alternative replacement window sashes is $180 per sash. The cost to manufacture, ship, warehouse, deliver and install a replacement sash in your home prior to Northeast Building Products termination of the window line in your home and the subsequent end of manufacturing of replacement parts for that window was in excess of $500.
If you wish to order the replacement sashes through Northeast Building Products yourself, pick them up or have them shipped to your home, and install them yourself, that is your prerogative. However, the cost of doing so will likely far exceed the cost Power has provided you for these replacement sashes as Northeast Building Products will attach their own price to the replacement window sashes.
Thank you,

Power installed siding on my house in July 2025. They stated that a licensed electrician would be managing the removal and replacement of the electric meter and could also be approved by my solar company to "float" my rectifier and put both back at the end of the siding install. This never happened. The same people that installed the siding removed all equipment from the side of my house (without any sign of a permit) and then attempted to put it back on the house. Since it wasn't properly attached, the solar rectifier started to hang off the house exposing a hole underneath where you could see the frame and sheet rock inside the house. They also did not properly attach the electrical equipment (meter, switch, power connection to house). In addition to this they damaged my new walkway by placing staging on it in hot weather without putting a board underneath. The patch for the walkway was $250 The cost for the solar company to come out and fix the way the rectifier was mounted to my house was $700 The cost for the electrician to fix the meter, attach the external breaker, and attach power into the house properly without visible holes was $800 When we complained they stopped answering our calls. I did finally get someone to agree to cover the walkway but when I sent the invoice they didn't pay and didn't respond. They repeatedly stated that they don't do anything with solar but they OFFERED to arrange this to allow their crew to stay on schedule. They didn't follow through on ANYTHING they said they would do on the phone. Their crew also requires supervision or they would have just boarded over rotting insulation panels instead of pulling it off.
