I placed an online order with DENNIS Uniform on 8/19/24 for which I paid $72.25 for 2 uniform shirts to be shipped. I placed an additional online order on 8/23/24 and paid $63.64 to have 2 more shirts delivered. At the end of September, I still had not received any of the items I purchased, and I reached out to the company. They sent correspondence via email stating they were struggling to fulfill their high volume of orders, and were unable to meet the shipping timeframes promised at the time of purchase. Two weeks later I received one shirt from the first order, and two weeks after that I received one shirt from the second order. There have been no additional attempts made by the company to communicate or provide any further assistance regarding the undelivered uniforms. Today I discovered that DENNIS Uniform has closed the distribution center responsible for managing my uniform orders. All points of contact have been disconnected, and it is no longer possible to communicate with anyone from the company.Initial Complaint

On September 24, 2024, we placed an order for school uniforms for $191.47. Unfortunately, they had to close their operations, which is unfortunate. We are looking for a refund for what we paid and did not receive. There was no communication at the time that we placed the order (less than a month ago) that they would close. I placed an order of $382.82 on June *******. This order has only partially been fulfilled. The business has terrible communication and will only email a response saying the items are backordered. If they couldnt fulfill the order it should have never showed available to begin with. These are uniforms needed for a school. I know multiple people who have had the same issues with this company. Purchased uniforms for my child 6/28/2024. After waiting over three months for the items to even be delivered I discovered more recently that a pair of sweatpants were the incorrect size. The size embroidered on the pants were different from what was on the tag, I reached out to Dennis and they sent me a replacement pair. However, the replacement pair that was sent is also the incorrect size. I am now being told by Dennis Uniform that the Soffee brand which is a substantially lower quality than the normal brand that is sent has a different sizing guide. I checked on Soffee's website and the sizing guide still doesn't match what I am being told. I am being told that Soffee Juvenile medium is the equivalent to a youth xxs 3-4. This is not the case, the soffee juvenile SMALL is what my child would need. I have yet to receive a response about sending the actual correct size and am now without a pair of pants that will actually currently fit my child. This is going on 4 months that I am ultimately without the correct size pair of pants.Initial Complaint

I purchased uniforms in June 2024 , I never received the clothing. Every time inquired about the clothing excuses on when's going to arrive and the clothing never arrives. Very disappointed this happened every year but this has the longest they just not a good business. I ordered school uniform for my child in late July 2024, total of $167 or about that amount, rest was refunded because are taking an extra long time to send. Except for PE shorts. I finally got 2 PE shorts, last month ( 2 separate mailings) Both have an upside down Saints/School logos. I told customer service and sent pictures the same day I received the 2nd paid of shorts. They said they were going to send replacement. But none has been mailed. So today, I wrote that if they can pls. Send me prepaid envelope to return these shorts. This place is very frustrating to deal with, customer service answers but with minimal effort to address the main problem of why the customer wrote to begin with. And has a process of making customer discouraged to even process a return. Very tedious, I waited this long to receive at least part of order and received an upside down logos for both shorts sent on separate mailings, with weeks apart. Initially I wanted to see how f all my original order have an upside down logo. So I can do one return. But since it took so long they refunded the rest of order except for the two shorts I have received. To me the logos look like an antichrist logo. It upside down. Please help refund or be sent a prepaid envelope without filling in so much information. I waited for 2 months or more just to receive two items out, that are out of season by now and nonetheless has upside down logo.Business Response

A review of your account shows that you reached out regarding the incorrect logo on Sept. 26th, and we processed the replacement order and cancelation request within 40 minutes of receiving your email. A return label was not provided because defective items do not need to be returned. I apologize if this was not clearly communicated at that time. On Friday October 11th, you emailed again asking for a return label and we did inform you that the defective item does not need to be returned. After close of business on Friday you responded asking for cancelation of the replacement and a refund for the defective item instead. This cancelation and refund were processed Monday when we re-opened and an email confirmation was provided.

I ordered several items from Dennis Uniform on June 3, 2024. I received all except for five long sleeved polo shirts. It stated at the time of order they would ship within 2 to 3 weeks. I have called at least four times and was once given an incorrect ship date, and on the other occasions, no estimated ship date. Last week they said they would have a manager call me and no one contacted me. They gave me a 10% discount code which did not work. Dennis is the only place I can buy these required uniform items for my two children and the items are not available in the local store. We need additional uniform sweaters for the winter, and though I do not want to place another order with this company, I have no other way to obtain these items.Business Response

Complaint Summary:I am filing this complaint regarding Dennis Uniform due to significant delays in fulfilling my order and poor customer service practices. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue through their designated communication channels, I have received little to no helpful response. Description of the Problem:On 7/8/24, I placed and order for school uniforms through Dennis Uniform, which is the exclusive supplier for my child's school. According to their website, orders should be shipped within 2-3 weeks. However, it has now been nearly 3 months, and I have yet to receive my full order or any clear indication of when it will be shipped. The company's communication practices are subpar. Dennis Uniform does not answer phone calls, directing customers instead to communicate their online ticketing system. When I have submitted inquiries through this system, the tickets are often closed without providing adequate information about my order status or offering a meaningful resolution. The company has repeatedly failed to provide concrete answers regarding the delay. Monopolistic ******************* has an exclusive contract with Dennis Uniform, meaning we are unable to purchase uniforms from other vendors. This leaves us at the mercy of their delays, effectively creating a monopolistic situation in which we have no other purchasing options. This severely limits parents' ability to find timely alternatives and places an undue burden on those waiting for essential school uniforms. Resolution:1. Immediate update on the status of my outstanding orders. 2. Improvement in Dennis Uniform's customer service practices, including providing direct customer support through phone calls. 3. Accountability for delays. Dennis Uniform should be held accountable for this discrepancy between their advertised shipping timelines and the reality of their delays. 4. Our fulfillment process involves numerous steps and once an order reaches a certain point it is not possible for a **************** agent to cancel the order. At the time of your initial interaction with our team the final item on your order had already been packaged for shipment and was awaiting pick up by ****. Due to that status we have to submit a request for the package to be located before cancelation could occur. Due to the high volume of packages sent each day this request cannot always be actioned upon before the package leaves our facility. The agent did submit a request to see if the package could be stopped and we received confirmation of the package intercept. Your cancelation request was processed, and an email confirmation of that was provided prior to the resolution of this BBB submission.
