I contacted PayRange and PayRange will not issue a refund for my remaining balance because of an arbitrary 90 day return policy. I am not asking for the refund of a good or service; I am asking for my own money that is held by PayRange without my consent. There was no reminder that I only have 90 days to get my balance refunded. Finally replaced my washer and dryer after the campfire destroyed them in *********** and not much local businesses that accept payrange . I would like the remaining balance refunded.Business Response

I am living in a building with a laundry room, and PayRange was a lifesaver when it comes to dealing with a change. However, for some reason, property management decided to get new machines with a new payment system. And I have $47.75 left on my PayRange account. Now looks like the only way that is to return money is a refund to the credit card. But in the meantime, I canceled that card and now I can't get my money back. I called and ask if they have another location/option close to me so that I can spend it, but according to the person I exchanged emails with, they dont have a list like that. I think that PayRange should have another option, check or money order, or anything else. According to ********** law, it is illegal to have any kind of card/payment/etc... method with no spending and no refund option. I work hard for my money, it's mine, and I want it back!!!Business Response

I used Pay Range for the laundry room in my apartment complex. The apartment management changed out the machines and are now using a new pay service provider. I have $11.50 of my money I preloaded into the Pay Range app that I cannot get back because I am beyond the three months timeframe to request a refund.The customer service representative was straightforward and said there will be no refund. I cannot use their service anywhere else. I don't understand how they can take my money and refuse to return it because their service is no longer available in my complex.I would like for Pay Range to return my $11.50 to my debit card or to issue a check for it.Business Response

PayRange allows users to use their phone to pay for washing and drying machine services. Users must fund a balance to use the service. I used this service to pay laundry machine charges, but moved away in March of 2022. In January 2023, I realized I had money still left in my account, and I reached out to their support for a refund on my balance. They refused to refund, citing a time limit since the last time I added to the balance. There is no app notification or reminder that the user has a limited time to get balance refunded. I cannot find any local businesses that accept PayRange. I would like the remaining balance refunded.Business Response

They have suspended my account on the basis of a charge dispute regarding a double charge on my credit card. I contacted their customer service support for resolution, however they are saying I have to contact my credit card company and cancel the dispute, and only then will they give me access to my account (which could take ***** business days). The amount of $100 was charged to the account to use the laundry machine.$71.25 is remaining and I moved. I requested for a refund, and they are not issuing a refund. The money is completely unusable anywhere else. I have been emailing, and the customer service's reply is that they don't have a system to issue a refund. This makes no sense.
