      I phoned for assistance in activating my phone. The tech was very helpful, patient and knowledgeable. I am so grateful I spoke with her and we got the phone up and running! I have had service with Consumer Cellular for almost 5 years and I am completely satisfied,

      The ordering process and delivery were great. When I got the phone, activating the e-sim card was too tricky for me. So I called customer support. ******** walked me through it. She was friendly, knowledgeable and very patient with me.

      Consumer Cellular will do what it can not to accept the responsibility it imposes on you and will do everything to discredit you as a customer. ********************** will not accept the responsibility they impose on you (you do what you are told) and will do everything to discredit their own advice and not give credit or any type of refund when your phone still isn't working. Buyers should be aware that it is a for-profit business and that customer courtesy and respect are often not acknowledged, accepted, or appreciated. Avoid calling in seeking tech help and take your phone to the nearest service center, and still, Consumer Cellular will not acknowledge the service center's advice/ expertise when what they advised is noted to confer with the customer, that it's not the customer falt (not accepting ****** account) of why the phone is not working. Shame on them.

      The GrandPad is wonderful and very intuitive. As an admin for my brother, I was able to add contacts, photos, web sites and have the GrandPad ready for hand-off in little time. Any changes are via the online module, so distance is not an issue.I would like to see a little more leeway in the admin area such as have an option for adding local articles in form of documents. But the GrandPad it serves its mission very well - providing a reliable and simple communications for those in need of it.Thanks

      We were with Consumer Cellular for years and our bill kept going up a few dollars here and a few dollars there. I felt we were getting nickeled and dimed. Switched to a cheaper phone plan. WHen we paid off my husbands phone, they did Not unlock it , because we still had the remaining bill.Despite that the phone was our property(Paid in full) . We have since paid our ********** phone is still locked. We are not happy. We shouldn't have to go to court to have your device unlocked. Had they just been open about it instead of me trying 4 times to unlock our device, Finally I was told it was most likely due to the fact we had an outstanding bill. They might have gotten a better rating had they just been honest & open. Do Companies know how to do that. . Poor customer service. Or not well trained technicians. Either way , More disappointed than just being nickeled and dimed to death!

      It took me a LONG time to figure out my ********** G 2021 and now with my new Moto Play2023 I'm having a worse time! Your start up instructions are AWFUL! You assume everyone is smart phone savvy and knows all this stuff but many of us seniors are NOT!!! I left 2 messages for **************** to return my call and they NEVER did! One time I got a live person after a 20 minute wait and my phone would not allow me to answer - I could hear her but she couldn't hear me so she hung up! Plus your videos do NOT cover many of the required start up actions required of the phone! So I give you a 0.1 star! Your company has gotten too big for its britches! Hire more people in the U.S. to answer and be knowledgeable on how to set up the phone AND make new videos on all the same procedures! The only reason I stick with CC is because I can buy a smart phone for much cheaper than the big carriers. Why don't you offer a true beginner's video on how to use a smart phone??? In desperation I signed up for an Oasis class on Android phones 101 on January 12 but I'm in the dark until then! I also tried to call customer service to re-activate my old phone until I take the class but again I COULDN'T GET A LIVE PERSON ON THE ********

      I signed up for Consumer Cellular and 3 days later got my new SIM cards as promised. I got a confusing email which I called them about but their system was down so they suggested calling back in a couple hours to clear that up as well as freeze the transfer of my phones until my current carrier unlocks our phones. So, a couple of minor snafus so far in the process of moving to Consumer Cellular. On the upside, they answer the phone with a live agent pretty quickly and they're very pleasant and professional and easy to understand.
