      I was told I would get a $5 a month discount if I let them take the money out of my debit card every month so I agreed......turns out I got no discount and if I wasn't on the auto pay I would get billed another $5 a month instead of a $5 discount every month. That is disgusting that they are pulling this off on customers, shame on them!!!

Customers who are not enrolled in AutoPay and electronic billing are charged the $5.00 fee. The invoice reflects this fee as a separate line item: Autopay/eInvoice Opt-Out Fee (E-Bill/AutoPay Opt-Out Fee). Customers that are enrolled in AutoPay and electronic billing will not see this line item on their invoice as it is automatically credited.       Considering, without writing this review, Consumer Cellular already has the low rating of **** out of a possible 5, this will not come as a surprise; however, the reader (AND CONSUMER CELLULAR) should know the lack of shame this company has. My brother-in-law passed away 1/13/24 and I've been trying to handle their affairs bills. By the way, his wife is mentally disabled and they are considered indigent. His bill came to *****, and his debit card would be billed 2/4/24. This is the part that gets me - there's an additional charge of $12.37 because of the lapse in time before they were notified. Keep in mind, the bill arrived TODAY. No... this fee cannot be waived under the circumstances. Where is the compassion, eh? Yep, I'll send them a check for the full amount and I'll also be sure to tell everyone what I know of Consumer Cellular. With an attitude like this, I seriously doubt they will be in business by the end of this year. Word will get around.

      I ordered a new iPhone to surprise my wife on her birthday. I ordered it a week ahead of time and they indicated it would be delivered in 5 days. Unfortunately it didnt show up till two days after her birthday. I also had difficulty getting the eSim card activated, but their customer service people fixed that quickly.
