2 starsProcess did not go as smooth as I thought it would. I used the esim and my previous service cut off, but ********** wouldn't work so I was without a phone for a day. Then my husband's ********** didn't start right away so we had to leave his previous service providers sim in so he could have service (so we thought), but low and behold, his previous service stopped working about 7 in the morning and so my husband was without service for a day. On top of all of that, the cell service in my area really stinks so I really think I made a bad decision changing to this plan

1 starIts great at first until you run out of data and they reduce your speed. It reduced speed is super slow and I cant really look at much on the internet unless Im connected to WiFi.Consumer Cellular

With unlimited data plans, data speed is reduced once a customer has used a preset amount of data, which is standard for carriers nationwide. This practice helps to optimize overall network performance and maintain a quality service experience for as many customers as possible. Our Unlimited Plan includes 50GB of high speed data each billing cycle. After 50GB, you can continue to use data, it will just be at a reduced speed.Review fromRicky M

1 starSo I called them to see if I could get service. I said please check everything over and make sure I'm compatible with your network. They said yes I am 100% compatible with their network They gave me a new number and everything. I received my *** card and called them to have them help me put it into my phone. The operator did not even have a clue on how to put it in my phone and just let me struggle with it then I broke the door on the phone. So I had to go out and buy a new one driving 20 mi to get it. I have the guy at the cell phone place install the *** card. Well the phone only barely worked It had text and blotchy data. The talking did not work at all. Spent another hour on the phone with a *** trying to help me get it going. After all this it turns out I am not compatible with their system. I am highly irritated and wanted a refund and some money for my time. Nope they don't give refunds and they can only give me credit if I'm one of their customers. So I said basically I'm screwed right. And she said yes.Consumer Cellular

In many cases, you can bring your own phone to our service. If the phone is at least 4G LTE, unlocked, GSM, and VoLTE capable, we are more than happy to give it a try. We recommend contacting your current provider to ensure your phone is unlocked and GSM/VoLTE compatible. However, we cannot guarantee every cell phone model can be configured with our service. 4 starsLove the service for my iPhone transfer from *******. Easy transition for me, but wife's phone not so good. When I signed up online the ******** phone that my wife has was said to be compatible so we made the switch for her phone along with mine just to find that it was not compatible so we had to switch her phone back to ******* for the time. Maybe because her phone was ******* prepaid? Once we get her another phone we will add her on to my Consumer Cellular account.Consumer Cellular
