4 starsThe Consumer Cellular authorized dealers (only certain Target stores) in ******** are woefully inadequate as they do not keep phones in stock. My option was to buy a phone from another seller, have them unlock it and then take back to Target for installation. Could not be done, local places will not unlock except for certain carriers and Consumer Cellular is not one of those. So after a day wasted running into and around OKC (I live an hour away), I came home and ordered a new iPhone 16 Pro. Once it arrived (again, rural delivery), it was fairly easy to get set up although I did have to call to make sure everything was set up correctly. The agent was very helpful.

4 starsFor the most the transition to Consumer cellar was very painless and easy. We did have an issue porting over existing phone lines to the new service. After several attempts we were able to contact the correct support person and the issue was resolved in a couple of minute#.Consumer Cellular

1 starTHE WORST experience I have had in ages. Total joke. It was supposed to be a five minute process to port over my line and send me an eSIM. It turned into three days of running around to stores (Targets that were supposed to have a representative and they were not there on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. No info to that regard on the website). Then it took me over 90 minutes on the phone to get my account number from them because they won't read it over the phone even though they had my account PIN, address, email, phone verification. Ridiculous!And then I got a bill today for auto pay. Stupid. I'm now spending more time with their runaround customer service. DO NOT GO WITH THEM!Consumer Cellular

1 starLook out for this company it trust to Explore the elderly. They pretend to be friendly to elderly but they are not. My mother red flip phone is a piece of junk. And she paid for it although the phone knowlonger worked. I canceled those people and they didn't cancel the service. So they thought since the phone managed to start working that I was going to let my mother pay for a phone that didn't work. And was previously canceled. My mother is 94 they will not get her fix income money!!!Consumer Cellular
