5 starsThe customer service was the best. For a 84 year old, He was so patient and I hardly know anything about technolgy and { cant spell either. He spent at least 20 minutes helping me. Very kind and loving.

2 starsWe have been CC customers for over 4 yrs and in the past we always had very courteous and helpful service. I recently ordered a new phone online and while reviewing the charges before placing the order, I noticed that the amount of taxes being charged seemed too high. The order page only showed the total for state and county tax with no further breakdown of the charges. I called CC and the representative was very ****/exasperated right from the start. She wasn't listening to me and just wanted to order it for me, which I didn't need. She had no info on how the tax was calculated and was totally unhelpful. I went ahead with my online order, despite not understanding the charges, as it seemed that would be the only way to get the new phone. When I got my confirmation of the order e-mail, it had the total breakdown of the charges that included a 2.9% excise tax that NY also charges, in addition to the sales tax, which accounted for the almost $20 that I was questioning. It would have been more helpful to have the breakdown of the charges before placing the order. We are told not to agree to things we don't understand to avoid fraud, but we need more info to do that.Consumer Cellular
