i bouht and finance a ******* tuscan 2018. from driveway.com.that was octobre 2022.they delivre me the car without temporary plates ,arround 10/10/2022.i call thembfor the paper they said it was a mistake. but they did not offrr to pay for the storage of the car.after 10 days and many phone calls i received the temp. until now 11/14/2022 no plates. but bills already first payement bill received.car has a leak of water that s goes inside the car by passenger and driver seat. bad buttery connections i have to call /AAA two times for help.driveway give a 7 days car return ,no qust ask . and **** miles warranty or 60 days for all problems.i called many many times to fix this or change the car. no responds.talks to many custmer svc. they put me on hold until ligne died.after several attents i figure out they are nor serious about fixing or changing the car.i spoke to *************** nice men but can not help.i spok to *********** director of sells.start evoiding my calls.secretary keep saying he went vacations.al stuck with car that leak water in and problem starting.with 506 monthly kick in without a good folowing up from the driveway. as they promesdBusiness Response

Please be assured that we take the concerns of our customers very seriously. I have reached out to our DMV team to further investigate the status of their plates. It is our understanding that the customer does have temporary tags, which will allow them to operate the vehicle for the time being. I'm working along side our customer satisfaction team to also further investigate the water leak repair. The customer did speak with an agent on 11/8/2022 regarding the issue and next steps. The customer was informed that we do need an estimate on file in order to investigate the repair. We are waiting on the customer to provide an estimate. As such, my team will continue to work towards resolving the customer concerns.

On Nov. 12, 2022, I attempted to purchase a vehicle from driveway.com. My financing and loan appraisal for my vehicle were completed, someone by the name of ******* was supposed to call me back, she never did. Then I called her 3hrs later and she requested that I propose a larger down payment. I made an offer, and she never called me back. One hour later I called her only to find out that she left for the day, and a MOD told me that the company is not buying cars from where I live even though we were not affected by the hurricane. I purchased a ***** Civic with cash from Driveway. I have not received the paperwork to get the tag. I have not received the title. I own the car because I paid $20,600 CASH. I did not trade. I did not finance. I paid CASH. They have sent me a second temporary tag. This is not complicated and should not take this long to be without the paperwork for a car that I own out right! This is BAD business. I have had the call numerous times and get very upset with Driveway and that was WHEN I actually got through with someone. April 12 2022 I bought a vehicle thru Driveway Lithia motors. I still haven't received plates or reg nothing I am a 100%disabled Marine veteran with amputations I have not been able to go anywhere as I would be breaking law if I did...... Now ****** law from DMV states that a dealer has 21 days to provide to consumer the paperwork on vehicle. The law also states the dealer has 30 to provide DMV all records of sale and title it's 6 months and still I can't drive my car or go anywhere like health shopping doctors etc. I can't take public transport as I have severe PTSD..... Everytime I contact them they lie or deceive. I've got written statement from Driveway stating reimbursement on payments (not done) supply a rental (also not done). On 9/26 I purchased a vehicle from Driveway.com. I paid for them to have my registration done as well. It is now 11/8 and I still don't have my registration. Not only do I not have my registration but they called me yesterday and told me I had to go see an "officer" to confirm my vin number because they can not find the title. So they sold me a car with no title. Or at least that is what they are telling me. This is illegal!!! I have a car that I paid a lot money for but no registration and no title. There is absolutely no one to contact. They just feed you some line about how they are going to call the *** department and get back to you. No one ever DOES!!! I have also tried contacting ************* since they own Driveway, no response. Yes they will reply to this review in a timely fashion with a response that replicates their response to every other bad review (which may I add is a lot). Just check it out if you don't believe me. So I hope when they read this, someone will actually reach out to help me because I think I might have to get lawyers involved soon. This has been a horrendous experience and I would recommend you run fast from this company.Business Response

Bought vehicle from Driveway. It was supposed to be delivered on October 18. No one picked it up to deliver it. The new date of delivery was October 23rd. It was not delivered due to issues with the driver. New delivery date was October 24th during my workday because thats the only time that worked. Got the vehicle empty on gas, needed an oil change, and new back brakes and rotors. Company to reimburse for gas(44.79), oil change(62.95) and shipping($545). Then was told that the brakes( ******) should also be covered because it was in the 7 day return window and I went to an approved auto body shop. I purchased vehicle that was delivered on 08/25 with no tempt tags. I took the company 2 weeks to get me a temp tag in the mail. The temp tag that was provide was only good for 2 weeks, expiring in 10/01. As of today 11/05/2022. I have not received permanent tags or registration for the vehicle I purchased and paid registration fees for. I attempt to call and text the representative and there general line almost daily for update with no response from anyone. I purchased my car on June 26, 2022, as of today I still have not received my license plates, I am now at my last time to purchase a paper tag, to be able to drive my vehicle. I have reached out to driveway, left voice messages, emails, even texts with no reasons as to when I will be getting my plates. I have even checked with the tax assessors office to see if anything has been processed and as of November 2nd nothing has been processed for the Vin of my car. I have made 4 payments on my car so far and after December 3rd if I have no payed I will not be able to drive my car. With it being the only car I have and having 6yr old twins I will not be able to live, work or even do the things I need to do as a parent. On August 17th, 2022 I started the purchase of a 2017 Jeep Patriot on Driveway.com. Someone from Driveway.com contacted me that day to advise me that I had been approved to purchase the vehicle and that their manager will email me the proposal. I accepted the proposal and uploaded documents and pictures of myself to verify my identity. A week or so later I was emailed "EDOCS" of a bill of sale and signed them with a electronic signature. These documents were then mailed for me to sign and send back in the mail. The vehicle was then delivered to me on August 29th. Approximately ***************************************************************** my name (I signed them with a notary and sent them back in the mail. My temp. tag expired on Sept. 29th and a few days later I contacted Driveway.com to see if there was an update on when I would receive my License Plate. The staff member explained that she would look into it and call me back. Within an hour she texted me explaining that my License Plate was being sent in the mail that day. A couple weeks went by and I still never received my License Plate or Registration. I contacted Driveway.com on Oct. 27th to follow up and got no response from **************** Ironically about an hour later I receive a phone call from a staff member saying that they had messed up my loan and that I will have to restart the entire process. Including sending all previous Documentation that I had already sent and a picture of my social security card or else they will have to cancel the deal. All paperwork had already been signed by both parties and agreed upon. I'm not sure if this is legal or not but I know that I have been treated wrong. Its now over 2 1/2 months since I've had the vehicle in my possession and we are back at square one. After looking at the reviews of this company its seems like many people are having similar and other issues with Driveway.com. I purchased a used Vehicle (2021 Tesla Model Y VIN#*****************) online from driveway.com on Aug 29, 2022. Purchase included a trade-in (2021 **** Mach-e). The Tesla Model Y was delivered on 9/2/2022 with Temp Tags from ******************************************, a dealership (from the *******, ** area), expiration date of tag was listed as 9/29/2022. I Contact Driveway.com on 9/28, and 9/29, regarding an update on GA Tags. I also called the **, dealership on Sept 29, but was advised that i must go through driveway.com for all online disputes, as the business transactions happens through Driveway.com. Furthermore, additional attempts of calling on 9/29, Driveway.com issued an extension of current temp tag from same dealership for another 30-days, expiring on 10/29/2022. Driveway.com representative (****) advised, Driveway .com office in GA received vehicle purchase information on 9/21/2022 from the ** dealership to submit for GA Registration of vehicle, but **** is having an delay contacting the depart for an update but will have follow-up. Again, no update, I contacted driveway.com multiple days (Oct 11, Oct 19, Oct 26, Oct 28, Oct 30) , asking for an update. Again, No update. On Oct 28, 2022, i called driveway and representative (*********) mention that Temp Tag can no longer be extended from **. I was advised to contacted GA DMV for a temp tag. ********* sent **** of Sale and I contacted GA DMV *********** ******* spoke with ****. **** is showing no record of a Tesla in their system. **** further explained that a temp tag cannot be issued passed the 30-days purchase date. Once again, I have attempted to call 3 times Nov 1 to driveway.com, no update. My car cannot be driven legally on roads. A police report has been filed #*********, with ** *********************** for failure to register car/title fraud of purchase on 8/29/2002. We are in receipt of your letter, in which you relay the concerns of the consumer regarding their vehicle's tags and registration. Please be assured that we take the concerns of our customers very seriously. Our team did speak with the customer regarding their tags. The paperwork has been sent to the **** My team is awaiting a tracking number for the package. The customer has been advised to call the ******* dealership to see if he is able to get a 3rd temp tag. We have reached out to our internal DMV team to get a more accurate update on this customer file. We are awaiting a response.

I am rejecting this response because:Good Day - I have tried to call the ** dealership and was advised they could not assist. The ** Dealership transaction flows through Driveway, only Driveway can resolve. An extension beyond 60-days is a violation of ** law. There part of been completed and sent to driveway for final submission. I spoke with a representation from Driveway, they did advised paper work from the ** dealership arrived on 9/21. Its been pending submission to the ******* DMV with nO reason for delay. I even have copy of the Title and paperwork via the representative for the GA DMV. GA DMV cannot issue me temp tag, as it against GA law past 30-days of purchase. Driveway has been paid to complete this transaction as part of Title, TAG, application precess. Driveway will need to resolve. If driveway truly sent the paperwork to to GA DMV, please provide the tracking ID# for verification.

One of our DMV supervisors spoke with the customer on 11/7/2022 and stated they are working on getting him another temp tag. That supervisor is also working with the selling store to resolve this issue. I have reached out for a more recent update. It is noted on his account hat is the documents have been uploaded into the GA system. GA will provide him another temp tag as well.
