I am a background investigator for a government agency that is charged with investigating people who apply for public trust positions. I have been trying to verify the authenticity of a GED certificate provided by a public trust candidate. There is simply no way to speak to someone about my issue. The site instructs you to use the AI generated customer service and support; however, it is impossible to get an agent unless you are the party who has taken the GED test. I will be filing a complaint with the Colorado Department of Education. As a third party vendor for a government agency, there should be ways to contact customer service relatively easily.Business Response

I purchased the order of my transcripts from the diploma sender when I went to click in the email. It said it gives 48 hours to download it when I click on the download link for the transcripts it said invalid I was never able to see or actually download my transcripts when I reached out to speak with somebody. I spoke to a lady named ******* and then I spoke to her boss. they were both very rude and did not help me at all. They proceeded to tell me that I did download it and that I should have them in my device. I explained that the link when I click download said invalid, I never received my transcripts she was rude and told me that there was nothing she can do about it. I think that the diploma sender is a scam as well.Business Response

Access Codes for documents are available for 7 days after delivery, or 2 days after use.
If you are the record holder and the email order was NOT accessed, you can place a replacement order at no additional cost. If the email order was accessed and not downloaded properly, a new order would need to be placed.

June 18th, 2025 I passed my GED at SPCC in North Carolina and ordered my diploma as well as my transcript which were complimentary from Diploma Sender, but I never received either. I contacted my post office because that is what I was told to do from the GED website and Diploma Sender which my post office was not able to locate the package in their system, it did not exist. Then when I had contacted Diploma Sender they said it had been too long and I needed to re-order which would mean I would need to pay for what was supposed to be complimentary.Business Response

If it has been 14 days since your documents were shipped, and you believe they have been lost, report your mail as lost from bottom of any page under Resources then Missing Mail. I needed a copy of my GED records in order to obtain employment/attend an interview with the police department. In Missouri, the only way to obtain these records is to order it through Diploma Sender. When my records arrived, they had a typo- My middle name was listed as both my first and middle name. I immediately contacted customer service and asked for the corrected copy to be sent. They claimed I had to file a dispute, so I did. Four business days passed before they called to deny my dispute, claiming that I had verified the name prior to ordering. Both my on my receipt and website profile, the correct name is displayed. They refused to reply to additional customer service requests or appeals, claiming my only option is to order a new copy. This is clearly a scam. As they are the only way to obtain these records in my state, they are also a monopoly.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:after emailing the Missouri Department of education, they arranged for complementary documents for me. Diploma Sender did NOT offer complementary documents. Also, I did not receive a letter of verification, though I did pay for one. The letter of verification is not included in my complementary documents from the state of Missouri. If I want to include a letter of verification with my complementary documents, it's a $20 charge.
I have been unable to reach customer service for Diploma Sender. On one occasion I requested a call and did not receive it. Twice I attempted to connect with a chat service agent and received no response until the page timed out after 15 minutes. Diploma Sender has done nothing to resolve this issue for me.

After spending 20$ for the company to send an email containing my transcripts to my school I want to attend, they didn’t send them. Instead they sent them to me. Rather than fixing the problem and sending them to the school, they double down and say I have to order another one. What’s to say this one doesn’t get sent back to me again. Bad business and bad customer service. “Theresa” was the person on the chat that wouldn’t help me. You could tell she absolutely loves her job, as she just sent me pre-written generic responses and was incredibly rude instead of just fixing the problem. Order your transcripts from any other company if you can. This company is a rip off and a scam.Business Response

I placed an order to get both ged transcript and ged certification sent to an institution. The recipient contacted me that they only received one document instead of two. Contacted GED service, and they told me that they sent 2 document links in one email. I asked them how do you know they were really two links in one email. The lady "*******" said that she worked there for 5 years, she know how it works. This is not an acceptable answer. Software could be different from 5 years ago. And if their system doesn't get updated properly. A missing link could happen easily. Why should I trust their customer service said that "Oh, we are not going to make any mistake because I work here for 5 years. They apparently are rude and not customer centered and didn't fix my issue. I still need the document sent. They told me that I just need pay again. This means no customer service at all. Just send a one page doc costs 23 dollars. This is insane.Business Response

Both documents need to be downloaded and saved to the device. I completed my GED for the State of Ohio and was advised to contact DiplomaSender to request the diploma. I placed an order 3/10/2025 and paid 20.00 for the Letter of Verification. My receipt number is *******. This also included a complimentary High School Equivalence Diploma Reward and Transcript reward. I contacted USPS twice in the last, previous month indicating my order hasn’t been received. USPS has never responded. I contacted DiplomaSender via chat and was advised no refund could be given, they couldn’t resend the documents and my only option was a code from USPS to move forward. I need these documents to gain employment, that they were supposed to mail to me. Apparently from reviews, this is a known issue with this company, with documents never arriving.
