entered contract to enclose screen porch on ********. Project is still not complete and multiple problems. Enclosure began in November2023, it was to take 2 weeks. On 112723, I contacted ****** at Patio Enclosures to report that **** has ruined my new Epoxy floor. On 1-3-24, ****** came out to see what the problems are.He reported to me and his office that there were multiple problems that need fixed. Multiple calls and finally ****** called back on 1-15-24 to state that they will fix all the problems and put me on the schedule and they would fix all issues. Patio Enclosures delayed paying for fixing the floor until March 2024. I keep calling and getting the run around and my porch is still not finished. Not being complete has interfered with multiple family events. I have tried all that I can do and I am very frustrated, it has caused me alot of stress and loss of multiple plants and time to move plants all the time.Business Response

We entered into a contract for a sunroom in March 2023; we were told the expected completion time once construction started would be 1-3 weeks. The sunroom construction began in September 2023. Communication with the company was terrible throughout the process (no notification when workers such as the electricians would be showing up - even though we would need to be home, large gaps in progress on the work, etc.). The contractor quit working for the company halfway through our project, though he agreed to finish our job. Little was done by the company to keep the project moving forward or have any idea what the status was without me initiating contact (for example, the final inspection by the city was never scheduled until I asked if it needed to be). There were construction parts/pieces in our yard for months. There was never any final inspection by the company to ensure the job was 'complete' (the last time the contractor was out was in December/January). We reached out to the company in February because a corner of the exterior roof/gutter has a small leak; I had to reach out multiple times to get a response from the field supervisor. They still have never scheduled someone to come out and look at this. In the meantime, the interior of the roof began leaking in two spots last week. I have reached out three times to ask for this to be scheduled for someone to come and repair this (in fact, whatever deficiency in the roof is causing this may have been detected had someone from the company come out to inspect the 'final' project). Each time the field supervisor responds that he is waiting to hear back from a subcontractor, and he will ask them again. This was supposed to be a 1-3 week project and we are now 7+ months. We would like the corner gutter leak assessed, the leaking roof repaired, and some sort of inspection by the company to ensure the contractor finished everything he was supposed to.Business Response

We purchase a patio enclosure last summer and every time we have rain it gets flooded through the walls built by this company. We had documented with pictures and they have been in our home tree times to fix this issue. They come after many telephone calls and their service is not acceptable. My husband and I signed a contract for a patio enclosure with Patio Enclosure on 10/5/23. We gave them almost $7,000 and we have not heard from them much since then. We are not on the schedule, there is no timelines for us to be on the schedule and they simply say that they will keep our nearly $7,000 if we cancel our contract. We have reached out to the AZ attorney general, whom it seems believes we should hire an attorney and I just wonder how quick will our money transfer from Patio Enclosures to the lawyer. It's sad. We are senior citizens and I am a veteran but it seems there's really no consumer protections in AZ. And it seems there is no one looking our for the little guy.Business Response

I am a little bit confused, however, as to why the sign put in my yard read Patio Enclosures, but now I deal with Great Day Improvements. Did the company change their name, or does Great Day Improvements subcontract out some of their jobs to other companies?

We sign our contract on 3/22//2023 for a patio enclosure we keep contacting someone about it, but they keep needing something different everytime to get started it's been a year now with this company... We tried for several months to get approval from your HOA, which we never received,
and additional documentation that the Horry County Permit Department required (we
needed a 3rd party engineer letter to apply for the permit, a copy
of the survey, which we had to hire a company to get and it took them 4 weeks
to come out, and additional forms that you had to sign) All needed
documentation was submitted to the permit department and we were able to obtain

I had windows installed in 2008. They come with a lifetime warranty however the company is stonewalling replacing the windows they installed in our front room. I initiated conversations with them in August 2023. A couple people came out, agreed there was a problem with the seals on the windows, two took measurements, and now we are in "radio silence". The last communication was on January 31 that they were checking with manufacturing. Now, no response from emails, text messages, or phone messages (no one actually answers the phone when calling the main number). I would steer clear of this company and go with that "other" worldly company that actually honors their lifetime guarantees.Business Response

I suggest the BBB keep this issue open until Patio Enclosures actually resolves the issue. We had a visit from a representative who assured us someone would be in touch to remeasure our windows and work with us on replacements. This in April. A follow up call was received on April 24 and we have heard nothing since.
I truly wish they would just give us a truthful answer so we can move on

We've reached this step in the process (where someone comes to measure the windows) once before and all communication ceased after that point. 2023 in the last quarter of the year, we signed the contract. They were going to use our house for advertising and took the drawings and said that soon someone would be out to measure. Then silence. I called and asked about the measuring, as we had taken everything off our porch. I could hear them, it sounded like i disturbed them all from hanging at the office. "yeah, I'll come out tomorrow". Then silence. the next communication was from the lending bank, they had dispersed the down payment. At the time, we had no idea where the project was. No communication what so ever. I called, had they done the permits, had they started construction, had they done anything at all besides take our money? He didn't know, he'd get back to me. Yep, you guessed it. Silence. So i called again, "we're thinking maybe we want out of this deal", he said, it will cost the entire down payment to get out of the deal. Then, i get a call from two "supervisors", they leave a number; the sales mans number. He calls, "we don't want you to leave, we're working, we're doing this, etc" then, Silence. Finally, i called the lending bank. We want out, the customer service is HORRIBLE. The lending bank put a block on it and no more money can be withdrawn. When i did that, i got calls all day. But still, no evidence that any work has been done. We want the money that you took and haven't used for the work you were supposed to do. I am glad, that unlike the other unfortunate people we don't have to pay the complete price for a low quality product, but still, we don't want to have to pay for low quality promises either.Business Response

Purchase a ***** dollar pitcher window. That was not made straight from the manufacturer, could not latch all 4 lock because of Crooked frame, On 5/30/2023 there guy come out to inspect, requested replacement. He went on vacation and left his paper binder here, I called February 2024 they don't know !!! If or when yet they tell me. I will never us a two part company again. No communication anywhere.No follow up from salesman not that I would buy anymore. I want out of my So called contract my money remembers they can have their window back I'll go elsewhere. The business came out in April to replace the window. It was done incorrectly. The business came back out redo it. The consumer is still experiencing issues. The business did not have all of the parts and they are still waiting on the screens with out any time frame. $4000.00 and over a year later and the consumer can not open their windows for the summer time.

I am rejecting this response because: they don't return my messages. I sent them pictures of other problems with window have not received a reply. Still not the right scenes. It's been over a year and it's still not right. I want them to take window out and refund my money , I'm ready to go to court...
This window is cheaply made with installers that tell me this too... ever time they r here.
I payed way to much for all these problems. And to only talk to part department is said ??
