Transaction occurred in my home on 3/30/25 after salesman spent 5 hours with us. We paid a down payment of $4,643.24 for a screened in porch. We were told NO PERMIT was required, found out from ********* it was required and this company was not registered to do business in our area, which was later resolved. We put in the permit application, which was denied due to this company's failure to provide the documentation the Building Commissioner requested. We continued checking with ********* on the status of permit. No documentation was submitted by this company. By May 9, 2025, permit was still denied. On June 11th, we decided to cancel the project due to this company's failure to send in documentation, and we requested our down payment to be refunded as per the contract we signed, which states that if no permit is obtained, the contract is cancelled and the down payment is returned less any expenses the company incurred, if any. Our emails (4)came back as "undeliverable", a Fax came back "busy" , left a message on answering machine. NO COMMUNICATION since June 12th. This company has very poor customer service and very little communication. We are filing a complaint with the Attorney General in ******** and we have hired an attorney to write a letter on our behalf to have our down payment refunded.Customer Answer

We hired Patio Enclosures in *******, owned by Great day Improvements, to come replace the windows on our three-season room. We were told it would take 3-5 days to complete. It is now the 7th business day and it's not close to completion. On day 1 two crew members showed up at 10:30AM and left at ***. One of the crew members publicly urinated on my lawn as witnessed by my wife. These two crew members put in approximately 4 hours a day tops. We are EXTREMELY unhappy and would like some of the cost refunded.Business Response

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We understand your concerns and, upon learning of the situation, our team escalated the matter to the installer to ensure it was addressed promptly. Were glad to hear the installation was completed and that you are satisfied with the outcome. We will follow up again to confirm that everything meets your expectations and that no further needs remain. We appreciate your patience and the opportunity to resolve this.Thank you.

Purchase room addition from Great Day Home Improvement/Patio Enclosures. Process started out fine. ***************** was great. Project completed October 2025. Communication with company once initial payment was made was terrible. Have had some issues that are still covered under warranty. Have been waiting months for someone to show up to fix leak and window. Was supposed to be out by us last week. No sho and no call. Again battling to get any kind of response from them. Extremely disappointing and frustrating. Especially considering for the money we spent with them.Business Response

Thank you for your candid feedback. We understand your frustration and sincerely regret the delays and lack of communication you've experienced following project completion. While were glad the initial process and installation went well, the service issues you've described fall short of the standard we aim to uphold. We do see that your service has been scheduled, and were committed to resolving the warranty concerns promptly. We appreciate your patience and the opportunity to make this right.

In April 2025 our enclosed patio was installed by Great Day Improvements but left before the storm door was installed. A few days later they arrived to install the storm door. About the same time they were finished we had to leave for a doctors appointment and did not fully inspect the door. A few days later we noticed that the storm door had been installed backwards. The inside of the door was facing outside and the outside was facing inside making it impossible to raise or lower the window from the inside. Contacted the Area Installation Manager who didn't understand what the issue was until he was sent photos of the outside of the door. He said that it would be addressed as soon as a crew was available. Every week it has been the same response, he is trying to work us in. Same response from the Operations Administrator. It has been several weeks and the door has not been replaced. We financed with Green Sky and Great Day Improvements has been paid in full so I expect they don't feel a need to correct this issue. Not a great way to do business.Business Response

Thank you for your feedback. We understand your frustration and sincerely apologize for the continued delay in resolving the storm door issue. We are actively working to get a confirmed ship date for the replacement door, but unfortunately, we havent received one from the manufacturer yet. We have been in contact with your wife on 6/5 and 6/16, and we've asked our team to reach out to you directly as well to keep communication clear and consistent. Please know we remain committed to making this right and appreciate your continued patience as we work through this.

I am rejecting this response because:
This is the same type of run around we have had for 3 months. Interesting, a day or two after we submitted this complaint a repairman from the company came by and said he was here to adjust a window. I explained to this very nice gentleman that the window was not the problem it was the storm door and showed it to him. Understandably he was amazed that it was installed backwards and that it was taking this long to get it replaced. Although he said good help is getting harder to find but said nothing about supply chain issues. He said that he will look around the warehouse and try to find a door, and if none are there he will ensure one is ordered and he would be the one to install it. I guess my burning question is they were made aware of this issue months ago and if it takes this long to get a door assuming it was ordered then, what about other material for this type of enclosure.Incidentally, my wife has been on me almost weekly about this door and if anyone called her, which she says no one has, then she would have said something to me.
In conclusion, supply chain issues have been pretty much resolved since Covid, so we will wait and see how long it takes for the door to arrive. Since we financed with GREENSKY, Patio Enclosures has been paid in full so we have no leverage to move this thing along.

Thank you for your detailed feedback, and we completely understand your frustration. You're absolutely rightthis issue has taken far too long to resolve. The door should be arriving on 7/10 and well be in touch to confirm the installation once the door is delivered. Thank you.

- Patio installed 10/2024
- Contacted company immediately and informed them that it was installed incorrectly. Several 20+ emails and phone calls went unanswered.
- 02/2025 contractor arrived and took measurements and photos and agreed the patio was installed improperly. He estimated repairs would be completed April 2025.

Was promised a travel voucher for the sale, its been done for eight weeks since completion, no follow up. Keep yesing me. Received a coupon for 25% off, company wouldnt accept it. Was told by salesman if the project wasnt started I would be eligible for discount. Nothing..Business Response
Date: 06/06/2025
Thank you again for your feedback. As we discussed during our last conversation, Xander will be hand-delivering your travel voucher and will speak with you in person to address any outstanding concerns.
Regarding the 25% coupon, We are not aware of the details of that conversation. Typically, once a contract is finalized, were not able to apply additional discounts retroactively. That said, we're still committed to making sure you feel heard and supported, and Xander will be happy to talk through everything with you when he visits.- The Great Day Improvements Team

I am asking the company to finish the job. Our project started January 2025 and as of today, May 30, 2025 it is not complete. They installed the wrong door. Provided so many apologies and promises to fix the issue. But all we have received is fluff and a promise of definitely in the next few weeks. We thought we were finally going to get the right door tomorrow. But tonight at 9:00PM i received a call that they were not coming. Please finish the job!Business Response

We want to assure you that your correct door has been received and is scheduled for installation next week. Our team is committed to completing the project to your satisfaction and ensuring that the final result meets your expectations.

First winter, roof sagged, doors didn't close properly. Modest snow load. I live in NH, so nothing extraordinary. Contacted them on 2/26/2025 with problem and sent pictures. They took a quick look and said they would get back to me.
5/16/2025 - still no resolution - doors don't shut properly, room has settled, door handle falling off.
They keep promising someone will visit to resolve, but nothing yet. I could use some help!Business Response
Date: 05/23/2025
Thank you for your detailed feedback. We understand how frustrating this has been, especially given your investment and the time that has passed. Our team did complete a service visit and found that both the door and window/screen were functioning properly at that time. We also followed up via email on 5/14 to let you know that we would coordinate a revisit when a field supervisor is in your area, in an effort to avoid a service call fee. We’ll be reaching out to schedule a follow-up. We appreciate your continued patience and want to ensure the room meets your expectations.

I am rejecting this response because: the room settled with a modest snow load. I will now need to keep the roof shoveled which I was not expecting. The doors are NOT functioning properly now. It's been weeks and a field supervisor has not made it out here yet. I would accept a sizeable refund as compensation if this is not resolved to my satisfaction.

I have never experienced such a level of professional incompetence. The sales person was extremely responsive and contacted us continuously until we signed the contract. Once we signed the contract and the payments began coming out of our account, we have been unable to have contact with anyone. We had one guy come out in March and we had one person call to apologize for the lack of contact but explaining that it was her third day on the job. We have sent six emails and numerous phone calls and text messages - ALL have gone unanswered. At this point we feel as if we were scammed because we have been ghosted. This has been the worst contractor experience we have ever had and I will be sure to tell everyone about this horrible experience.Business Response

Contracted with Patio Enclosures 12/2023. Installation started in September 2024. It’s still not completed and no one has been back to the house since. No one will return calls or emails. I was told the Savannah branch handling our build was closed. I have called and emailed several people for months. If I do talk to someone they say they’ll get back to me and never do. I email and call 2-3 times a month. I’ve sent pictures of the build to show the incomplete areas and done everything anyone has asked me to do.Business Response
