5 starsThe installation crew assigned to our job did a thorough and quick job. They exercised good judgement in delaying the installation for a day to get a better weather day for installing. The crew was courteous, worked with our scheduling needs. I could see from the ground the repairs/modifications made to the gutter attachments to improve the gutter system that was done as part of the cleaning/installation for the LeafFilter. Since installation we have not had **************** rainfalls that go with thunderstorms, but the rain we have had has been easily handled by the system.

4 starsThe overall process from the sale to the end was very good. However, the sales pitch needs to be updated as they use old data for their information and awards. When asked for local references, I only received one, which was a good one after reading a lot of negative reviews. The installer was prompt and efficient. After inspecting the job myself, it was fine. A week later, an inspector came to look at the job. I was not made aware he was coming. When observing him, it seemed he took everything off and put it back on. I did not inspect after that. He showed me photos which seemed fine. 2 weeks later I had to call for service because the filter did not look secure on the ends. The technician came and secured them further, although the edges look nothing like the pictures I was shown. It's only been 2 months, but so far I am happy with the filters. My concern was birds getting underneath, and that has not happened, so it is all good so far. Winter is coming so we shall see.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

1 starI concur with another writers review about cancelling a contract. I was originally going to have the leaf filter installed on Nov 28,2022 but after some distressing information I found on the company and a law suit concerning the exact problems that I didnt think were going to be solved, namely the amount of water that actually gets into the ***** from a moderate to heavy rainfall. It turns out the mesh doesnt let enough water into the ***** but over flows over the mesh guard splashing down on the ground. I asked this of the salesman and his answer said they have microbial cover on the stainless steel mesh. I looked this up and found nothing about this. If any one has cleaned a window screen and the grime comes off you know that same ****** will stick to this mesh ever year. To clean this off it is suggested use clean it once a year with a power washer. Then why would I want to If you a have guard I now need to power wash? If you have a honey locust tree above your house then these leaves stick to everything and are hard to remove even when dried on the horizontal surfaces. I realized this Leaffilter was not going to work. I had originally asked for a spring install but I was talked out of that and booked in 3 days. The contract is very explicit about how you cancel and they do not expect over the phone cancellations. Period! You need to put it in writing and either registered mail or hand deliver to the office. I choose hand delivery even if it was an hours drive for me. Time was of the essence because of the US thanksgiving closure and the weekend. You have 10 days to rescind it. It did phone on the Thursday and did leave a message with all the numbers I could find. **** called at 8 am and I told them I was rescinding the contract and hand delivering it to the ******* office. She said she would let them know and to not send out the truck on Monday. They excepted it when I got there but did try to talk me out of it. Just beware if you use them.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

1 starThis company wasted my time and not ONCE did they return a phone call. ***** the sales rep went thru this big long presentation of how leaf filter is the best. Then he quoted me $3900 for 42 feet of gutter and one down spout. When I balked on that the discounts started coming. So much that he made a (probably) phony call to the warehouse (on a Saturday no less) to see if there was 42 feet of leftover gutter filter material from some commercial job they just finished. We ended up cutting them a check and a date was on the books. That $3900 price tag came alllll the way down to $1357. Hmmm? Two days before the install date I got a call that the trailer with the gutter machine had a broken axle and they would have to reschedule. Then we never heard back from them. We called at least 5 time to their Sauk Rapid shop and left messages and they never did call us back. When we called leaf filter corporate we finally got to speak with them and another date was scheduled. We asked for ***** to call us and several days later we got our check back in the mail. Leaf filter of ********/ *********** is a poor excuse for a business.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

After reading all of the negative reviews I thinks its probably for the better that we just hire a smaller more local gutter contractor. A business that cant even make a simple phone call isnt one that Id like to transact with.Review fromCharles R

1 starI received warnings from my neighbors that this business was shady. I still went ahead and did my due diligence and got a quote. The experience i received was poor to say the least. Not only was the sales experience high pressure and misleading in their representation of the product, but the product was significantly over priced. In addition -- and this is the part that finally prompted the review -- the company is very shady in their promo practices. During the time of my quote the company had a $100 **** gift card promo for a quote. Afterward i received a smaller promo amount for a different vendor and when i called to see if they could fix the mix up, i was told tough $h!t. Stay away from this company if you want to support an honest business and keep your blood pressure down.LeafFilter Gutter Protection
