1 starI asked for a representative to come and give me a quote. He told me repeatedly how many hours it took him to drive to my home. When he arrived, I asked him for a business card. He asked why would I want a business card. He followed up with never in ten years working in the industry had anyone ever asked for his business card. All the way around my house, he complained about how long it took for him to drive to my city. When he got to my back yard, he immediately informed me they could do nothing for me and it was a waste of his time coming all this way. I told him that my family had built a business on fabricating out of the ordinary solutions to solve problems. He replied something to the effect that we must produce junk and poor-quality solutions. I let him know that we produce high quality products. I laid out a possible solution. He told me that what I had in mind would work, but they were the world’s largest home improvement contractor and they could not do this job for fear of a law suit or a bad review. He then went on to complain about the number of miles he had to drive and the cheap motels the company provided for his lodging. He told me to find a local company to do the work. I asked him to leave.
I cannot fathom why “the world’s largest home improvement contractor” would be unwilling or unable to provide an engineered solution that would give them a profitable job they could show as example of their capabilities.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

1 starWhat a JOKE!!! due to water flowing over the gutters, Have had 3 visits to correct the problem and to no avail the problem persists. First visit cleaned out the gutters (temporary fix) Second visit installed deflectors to disburse the water (did not correct the problem) Third visit took the deflectors off and actually made the problem WORSE PRIOR to the product installation with water actually coming in my back kitchen door. Was not charged for the 3 visits and when I called their Charlotte contact (****) he became very belligerent and said that upcoming visits would result in a $95 charge. This was after he admitted that the deflectors would not work!! ****** and ******* ****** PLEASE train your salesmen and especially contact folks (****) customer service skills and a better knowledge of the workings of your product. It will save us all the issue of reaching out to a gutter company to correct your problem. In my case around a $2000 repair.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

5 starsThe entire process from sales pitch to installation was painless and thorough. My husband and I are happy with all aspects of our purchase. The installer was courteous and patient with our questions. The installer worked carefully around all of my plants and cleaned up completely after he was finished. He was quick and courteous as well. He answered questions my husband had. I would recommend this company to anyone.

1 starDo not use this company They price gouge you like crazy. I had a guy come for an estimate 1. they will only give you a figure and never tell you how much you are paying for materials and break it down. 2. they pressure sell I was told the price would go up if I did not sign within 2 days. 3. I was told a discount was given if you paid in full and the guy refused to tell me the discount saying the workman would apply it. I called the company no response could not verify. 4. original price was $2800 and I had no clue what I was really paying for I said no. 2 days later they called the price magically dropped to $1200. that is a $1600 price drop in 2 days now what is wrong with this picture??? They pressure sell and way overprice and refuse to tell you what you are paying for or breakdown the figures. Sadly they are preying on people pricewise and I wonder how many have paid thousands more then the actual material or labor. thank goodness I was smart enough not to fall for this and said noLeafFilter Gutter Protection

your answer is exactly my point. you say some fancy reason to avoid telling people what they are actually paying for and inflate the price. I had the salesperson sitting inmy living room and looking at my gutters. Now why didn't he offer me the $1600 price that I was offered just 2 days after saying no. Had he done what you claim looking at the job the price would not have been $2800. This price was after he took the so called discounts the price was even higher without them. I went down and spoke with my neighbors who actually had your gutters put in The salesman gave them a price of $4000 They said no. the very next day they were called and the price magically changed to $2100. You price the job and inflate the price by thousands. I would never recommend your company and feel sad for those you have taken advantage ofReview fromTim F
