2 starsThe original price(s) quoted indicate greed to a high degree.Even at the super discount rate the company finally made me, it made a decent profit. I would never subject anyone to the potential to be ripped off with the exorbitant rates originally quoted.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

1 starCommunication was horrible at to what we needed and how we wanted it to look and what the installers actually did. The installers did a very poor job as the end caps of the gutters were separating after the first rain and leaking. I will be removing these gutters and having professionals install ones in the near future. Lesson learned!!!LeafFilter Gutter Protection

*Update* Leaf Filter has contacted me since I posted the original review. After a little bit of phone-tag, customer support and I were able to get on the same page as to what the issues are and how to resolve them. Leaf Filter took care of all repairs in a timely manner and now the system is amazing. I was disappointed with the initial install but their customer support has really stepped up to correct any and all issues we were having. 5 starsWe have considered this product for several years before making the decision to upgrade.This is a huge investment and we wanted to be sure we was getting the best product to last many years. We are so happy with the product and the team who installed them. They were very professional and nice and explained everything as they were installing.Everything was completed quickly and it was great not having to clean up after them. 1 starI called LeafFilter based on their advertising. I cleaned my gutters myself for 18 years, but had been injured and can no longer climb ladders. Trees were growing in my gutters, and something had to be done. Their advertising offered a 20% discount to all customers, plus a 5% senior discount and a 5% military discount. I am a 83YO disabled veteran. My home is a doublewide. LeafFilter Senior Consultant Chris Lewis, who told me he was also a veteran, came to do an estimate.. I was shocked by the cost: $5,469.84! Lewis said I was saving money because my existing gutters could be used, and I was getting the senior and military discounts. I asked, what about the 20% discount LeafFilter advertises? He told me, in essence, that was just a marketing gimmick.
A 3-man crew, one of whom spoke some English, arrived in a pickup towing a small trailer up my steep driveway. They worked very quickly and efficiently and finished minutes before the predicted storm hit. I thought about offering to back their rig out of my driveway, but considered that they might be insulted.. They jackknifed the trailer. Without 4WD, they tore up my gravel driveway and knocked over a stone retaining wall under construction. My F260 was on the wrong side of their rig to be able to tow them out.
I suspect that Lewis jacked up the cost to cover the 10% discount he said that he did give me. I've learned that other people with bigger houses paid less than I did. I have left Lewis messages and called LeafFilter and emailed both repeatedly about the damage to my driveway and the advertised 20% discount, I have tried to reach the company legal department and been told they don't have one, not even a lawyer. I am kicking myself for falling for a con job--I was stupid. The one good thing I can say is that the gutters survived Hurricane Helene.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

1 starCurious how Leaf Filter can quote and charge a Senior citizen veteran $14,724 final cost for 200 LF of gutter when 150' is on a 1 story elevation and 50' is 2 story. This is after quoting them a $24,879 retail, 25% discount of $6,220, a 15% winter deal discount and a 10% veterans discount. which should equal $14,281. then added $443 for something. I have been in the construction business for 30 years and this pricing is absurd and clearly taking advantage of someone that that has no ideal about these things.LeafFilter Gutter Protection
