2 starsAlthough the installer was a great guy and did a good job but, what the sales rep stated to me at time of agreeing to have this done was not done. Example: I was told they would make sure that the gutters were properly pitched as well as cleaning gutters and reinforcing the gutter with extra clips and none of this was done as the installer told me that the gutter was not pulling away from the fascia and the pitch was properly done when I had these gutters installed. The installer Did have to remove the clips from front gutter due too the clips gutter installer used bevel up and the leaf filter system would not sit properly which I understood and had no problem with that. The installer found a pile of leafs sitting in the front gutter where the opening of downspout was located and he did remove it which I gave him a hose to clean out the gutter. My point is that this sales rep was full of himself as I explained to him that the gutters were not pulling away from my house but he claims he was the expert and I explained I did the construction on my house and having building experience and no house my house was built as I did the work myself.

1 starVery dissatisfied, have had leaks and have not been able to get anyone to fix them. Have called several times and apparently clain they came when we were home and never saw anyone. Then they close the case as done. Several calls made and still repairs not done. Would not recommend them to anyone!!LeafFilter Gutter Protection

2 starsthe salesperson, ****** ****** made me feel like i was dealing with used car salesman. he started bidding the job at $5260 (i do not know how ****** sleeps at night), down to $3250, then down to $2400. i said that was still too high. ****** left, called back in 15 minutes, offered the price of $1260, i agreed to this price. ******'s measurements were off by four feet. i had an estimate from about 16 months ago of $1649. i asked ****** about the so called 15% plus 10% OFFER, he told me that he could not give me that offer, and that if i wanted to use a credit card that he would charge me 4% more. i was scheduled for 12-4pm on tuesday 10/18/2023. the installer called back and said that he could not come that day. we agreed on 10/20/2023. the installer came at 3:30pm and we agreed that it would be better if he came back on 10/21/2023. the installer put into the order that i was not home so he could not start the job. i was home, we both agreed to this so that the installer would not get in trouble. up to this point i was getting a little disturbed. ONE PROBLEM IS I GAVE ****** A CHECK TO PAY FOR THE ENTIRE JOB ON 10/18/2023. IT HAS NOT BEEN CASHED AS OF TODAY, 10/23/2023. i would just like to comment that *****, the installer, was the most gracious person that i have delt with in a long time. he explained everything he was going to do and was doing. as far as i can observe everything was installed properly. ***** answered all my questions of concern; and there were a lot of questions that i had. thank you *****.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

1 starthey did the bait and switch and took advantage my 78 year father. He had severe cancer was int the middle of chemo treatments when they sent out illegals to do the install They only installed regular gutters , not the leaf filter system , did not paint the facia boards, and the water runs in the wrong directions and it still over flows causing damage to the wood deck. Knowing my father could not use ladders anymore I am sure they thought he would never see the difference. They also sent a couple of illegals to do the install so you could not communicate with them .. If this happens to you kick them off your property you will be helping Leaf Filter in breaking the law. then go online and report them to ICE and Border Patrol. Immediately. taking advantage of elderly sick people is the lowest form of scum bags. they should be in jail for what they have done. I hope the owner and that salesman get half of what my father has been through. They wanted to gouge him for money to fix there mess up. Just s slimy cons. You would be out of your mind to deal with them.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

2 starsThe initial sales representative presented a thorough outline of the product, services to be provided and demonstration. What I later discovered however, was that the promises made were not entirely what was delivered. For example, we were told that all the plastic hangers would be replaced with metal hangers, gutters would be hand wiped before installation of the product and that joints and seams would be caulked 12-inches in each direction from the joint (as applicable based on an end cap or mid gutter seam). While metal hangers were added in places, the plastic ones were not actually replaced. A phrase used several times during the sales presentation was "Essentially, we take ownership of your gutters.". This leaves A LOT of room for interpretation of after-sales services provided. This later was explained as meaning LeafFilter guarantees the gutters will not fill with debris and cause an overflow. I still had to pay $95 + tax to have a leak repaired because I reported it after the initial 12-months since installation. Again, this leads to the phrase "... we take ownership of your gutters.".
All this being said, I believe the product does exactly as they claim. It does an excellent job of keeping debris out. Unfortunately, in my climate, it also led to enormous ice dams. These built up over the LeafFilter, gutters and roof overhang as spring approached and we went through numerous melting and re-freezing cycles. Water overflowed onto the sidewalk below creating outright dangerous conditions. I spent far more time chipping ice and applying gravel and ice melt products for several weeks than it ever took me to clean the gutters once each year. I ended up having to climb a ladder to break up the ice dams to relieve the problem. In a warmer climate, these will work great. BEWARE OF USE IN COLDER CLIMATES. At this point, I don't feel the cost versus benefit is anywhere close to what I'd expect at the price point paid.LeafFilter Gutter Protection
