1 starI contacted LeafFIlter reference installing gutter guards using their 800 number, and was promptly given an appointment the next day. The scheduler was adamant my wife be present for the estimate, and when I was contacted by the sales representative, he ask me the same series of questions concerning the presence of my wife for the estimate. The salesman arrived promptly and began to take the house measurements to give me the estimate. Once completed, he insisted on coming in and sitting down at our kitchen table for his presentation As soon as he started showing me other products and giving me, what I consider excessive pricing, I knew this was high pressure sales at its best. He said our house needed 208 feet of gutter guards, which would cost over $****** dollars, however he could give a discount of **% for a special offer. Of the three company prices he quoted me, LeafFilter was one of the lowest. I told him I needed to think about it as I had two other companies coming to give me an estimate. He continued to pressure me to make a decision, until finally I just told him he was wasting his time. He said he would check back later with me. He contacted me again that evening and reduced the price to about $****, telling me he was on commission, and would not be making any money on the sale. I refused again, he contacted me again the next day, and when I told him I went with another company, he reduced the price to $****, which was still $**** higher than the company I chose for a very similar product. Maybe it is because me and my wife are seniors, he thought he could sell us anything. Also, he really talked down to us like we were not smart enough to make a decision without his help. Something should be done about a company with this type of sales tactics.

2 starsI was REALLY disappointed at the Salesman. I felt after signing that I got ripped off on the price and truly felt I was duped by the old car salesman method!I did not do my homework properly. 4 starsThe job was done quickly and efficiently. However, the crew left my glass-top patio table covered in an inch of sludge and I have found numerous pieces of metal bracketing on the ground, some with screws still stuck in them. I wish they had taken a few extra minutes to check for hazardous waste left in my yard that my dogs or I could have cut ourselves on, and that they could have done the courtesy of not leaving my patio table covered in sludge.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

1 starIm not satisfied with Leaf filter, consumers, please be very, very, very careful when making a decision to go with them please DONOT sign any documents until you know for sure thats the route you gonna take because if you do its a done deal. Leaf filter gave me a lot of trouble because I had reservations about going with another company buy pricing reason I needed 27ft of more gutter and the price is almost $600 more now they want to charge me a 25% restocking fee they claim the gutters were already ordered. 1 starSystem does not work when your house is surrounded by trees. Leaves sit on top of insert and water does not get thru - it goes over the top.,Leaf Filter, no longer allows their own technicians to go on the roof. My house is 2 stories - you need to go on the roof to clear certain areas of gutter.Now I need a contractor to do the job - when you call Leaf Filter - I am told they don't book contractors.Not a good system, not good service by Leaf FilterLeafFilter Gutter Protection
