4 starsFalse advertising! Leaf Filter advertises you will never have to climb a ladder again BUT when I called in the scheduler said my problem was probably with debris on top of the filters and I would be charged $95 service charge! So much for "not climbing a ladder". I am 66 years old and afraid of heights. I bought your product to keep me off a ladder. How the h*** am I supposed to keep shingle grit and pollen from accumulating on the filters!?! Bad policy on your part!

2 starsYour filter system still clogs and causes damage to decks and driveways. Your system just clogs on top of the gutters now then drains over the gutters. The gutters leak which you have never fixed or address sense installation.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

1 starI just had my 4th visit after the original installation to resolve a plugged gutter. This was the best visit yet and the service tech was very professional, had all the right equipment and solved the problem. I have now had leaking gutters repaired twice and plugged gutters repaired twice on an expensive system that is designed to prevent plugged gutters. This company does not look anything like their commercials. No Leaf Filter trucks, company shirts or specialty ladders On the original installation in 2022 a single person arrived in his personal truck to install Leaf Filter on my 2 story house. He advised that he did not know it was a 2 story and not only did he need to borrow one of my ladders but he also borrowed some of my tools. He apologized for the inconvenience and was pleasant and appeared to complete the job properly so I let it ride. This was prior to the rains starting so my problems came later. When he left he let me know that this was his last job as he was going back to roofing because Leaf Filter didn't pay their subcontractors well. Each time I needed to have service, excepting this last visit, the technician did not have ladders tall enough to reach my gutters and I was thankful that they did not fall off while stretching to reach the problem. This in spite of me telling the service center that it was a 2 story house. The first plugged event was found to be a dead bird in the downspout. The second was just debris. How could this be? The most recent technician told me that it probably was not properly cleaned and prepared prior to the original installation. I do believe that the system works as long as it is properly installed. Will there be more issues? Guess I'll have to wait for the rainy season. Lastly, when I called I was also advised that since it was over a year since installation I may need to pay for the service call. Unbelievable! 5 stars*************************** came and got my old gutters torn down and the new gutters installed in a day. Cleaned up after himself, resolved an issue I was having with my storm door catching on the gutter, and even installed the drains away from the concrete unlike the previous installer.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

4 starsIt seems like a good product but it is very over priced. The shock and awe sales strategy really rubbed me the wrong way. But I gave in because of my situation. The first price given was $11,700.00 and after negotiations $3,941.00. I bet some little old lady really got taken. I really havent had it long enough to see if it works.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

2 starsLeaf filter was not responsive when I tried to reach out to them about scheduling. I had to drive to their office twice to get information. They don't do the work themselves it's contracted out and they didn't even give the contractors all the needed equipment. On top of that the gutters they installed don't even have the leaf filters on them. Will not be doing business with them again.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

3 starsThe first install was done incorrectly. No pitch on the gutters and leaky joints. The work crew did not speak English and it was hard to communicate with them. It took three more work days to get the job done properly. In the end, the gutters did drain properly but two joints still leak a little.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

3 starsAfter buying the product the installer that came out, left us with an installation that had leaks all over. A year later they came out with another service person who totally replaced the whole system that worked much better. But 3 years later we again had areas overflowing We called for service. The person how came out said in those areas that going forward WE have to clean the gutter filters- we were told by the service person who came out. Read carefully - your warranty says you never have to clean the INTERIOR of your Gutters, but leaf filter doesnt consider the Leaf Filters gutter covers part of the Gutters interior. So we still have to get on the ladder to clean off leaves / debris that cover the filters - this is what the service guy that came out for service due to water spilling over and pooling in a corner by the house when it rains advised we will need to do. The service guy actually said we have to still clean the Leaf Filter gutter covers of debris , especially in the one problem area of our Leaf Filter gutter covers.. This is misleading. So now at ********************************************* from ever having to get on a ladder again, I have to get on the ladder to clean off areas of our Leaf Filters. This is wrong and misleading. Regardless of the sales / salesman claims youre never have to get on a ladder to clean your gutters and the micro mesh does not clog and leaves just fall away - read the warranty carefully the advertising and claims mean nothing when you sign their contract you are getting a warranty for only keeping the inside of the gutters clean and not that the filters wont clog or that rain washes debris off the filters. On the plus side the service people the waived the $179 service fees so far. Buyer beware.LeafFilter Gutter Protection
