1 starI installed Leaf FilterGutter Protection in 2021 for $1800.00.They gave me manufacture"s guarantee with no clog money back . Recently I noticed that some pine needles and other dirts pile up around the borders of my gutter.I contacted them and got in touch with a local office (***********)person named ***.He said there will be a charge of $95.00 every time they come out to clean/take a look or for any other issue with the gutter.All that warranty/guarantee means nothing.I can have someone clean the gutter for $50.00.Why have leaf filter charge me $95.00.Very disappointing.I will seek other advice.They are not worthy of 1 star.

1 starThe installation in February was troublesome.Apparently about 16 feel of gutter on my house had debris left in the gutter and the LeafFilter material was installed over it. That caused the clog that was removed on the most recent visit.On the install in February, the metal brackets that were removed from my old gutter cover were left on the ground and a hammer was left on the roof.I borrowed a ladder from a neighbor to get it down.In full disclosure, there was snow on the ground and it would be hard to see the white brackets that the installer threw on the ground. If he had carried a bag or pouch with him, he could have put the brackets in that instead of leaving the metal on the lawn for me to pick up when the snow melted. And I informed the installer that he left the hammer on the roof so that he could come get it. He never did. The frozen leaf debris was left on the ground to me to clean up when it thawed The man who recently cleaned out the clog the installer left behind suggested I should have called LeafFilter to handle the cleanup. I probably should have, but I was so unhappy about the situation at the time, I did not want anyone from LeafFilter to come back to my home.I also will never again have any work done on the exterior of my house when there is snow on the ground. The scheduler wanted to give his men work and insisted the snow was not an issue. It is my fault the I agreed to the install in the cold and snow. I expect the LeafFilter product will keep the gutters free of debris as advertised, but the install was a very unpleasant experience.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

3 starsVery expensive, salesperson was good but installer did not communicate thoroughly nor effectively at all during installation. Left sharp metal parts all in my yard and just departed when done. No pictures were provided as discussed with salesperson. Would not really recommend this to others.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

4 starsThe technician was careful and courteous, even though it took a week before he returned to replace the outdoor electrical cover he accidentally broke, when he said he would return in a few days to replace it. And he put it in wrong and my husband fixed the problem. This is the only reason why I only give 4 stars. Other than that, we are very happy with this company.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

1 starI contacted LeafFilter to request a repair. i believe that the repair should have been considered a warranty repair, but despite repeated calls to the office and discussion with the gentleman who performed the repair, no one ever adequately addressed my concerns. I paid a high price for installation, the website prominently posts LIFETIME WARRANTY, the problem was one of improper installation and failure shortly after installation but i was still charged for a service call.LeafFilter Gutter Protection

1 starWe learned that a six foot section was never placed The tech placed it but charged us $105.00 We are elderly and unable to check the installation we have to trust work is complete Thus I cannot recommend leaf filter to my neighborsLeafFilter Gutter Protection

1 starI had the leaf filter installed and the two gentlemen that came for the install were excellent. I later found out that my salesman lied to me. I upfront told him I needed a roof first and he insisted I didn't need to have the leaf filters installed after. "Go ahead and install the leaf filters, they will catch all the debris from going in your gutters!" That is a direct quote. I have now been informed that if a nail goes through a filter by accident then it voids my warranty! BUT, I can pay a team to come and uninstall my leaf filters and then reinstall them after the roof shingles are applied. Terrible how the salesman can take advantage of a customer! What a way to ruin a company's name having a liar for a salesman!LeafFilter Gutter Protection
