      Over $10,000 for installation of the LeafFilter Gutter Protection System. First rain, leaves and twigs from my Maple and Oak trees fell onto and stuck to the LeafFilter screens. Then the water from the rain began pouring over the gutters all together making waterfall on windows, ditches in flower beds, and us having to head out into the rain to clear off the stuck debris. We called LeafFilter to see about having these pieces of junk removed for a refund but were told this was not an option. Told us they would send someone out to check out the problems. A guy came out after rain with a small "blower" and blew the debris (some of it) off the "filters". Didn't charge but said would have to in the future. This problem just continued with us having to climb on ladders to clean after each rain. Then in 2020, we received notice that a class action suit had been filed, which we joined. Couldn't believe when, in 2022, we were again notified that the suit was settled. What the settlement gave us was TWO free cleanings. WOW!!! For a "lifetime guarantee", I don't know what to think about this shoddy, shabby settlement. LeafFilter should be required to come out and remove and refund unsatisfied customers.

      Horrible customer service, god forbid if you have to replace your roof because thats when they stick it to you once again, these filters cost us a very large amount of money we had to replace our roof so i contacted leaf filter they informed that they had to take down and put back up the leaf filters or our warrenty would be void, they sent a bid for $2900.00, non negotiable, we had no other choice, so 2 guys show up to take them down not marking where they went just putting them in my yard in piles, so once it was time to put them back on , the first day of appt was a no call no show, next day one guy shows not knowing what to do because they all were in piles in yard, so they send the guy that took them down, he tries to sort them all out hangs about half and leaves says he will be back. Well then its the weekend he wants to come on Sunday, i asked them to come on Tuesday,, in the meantime i get to looking at the leaf filters and they are not fitting on my brand new gutters, it looks horrible, brand new roof curled at bottom, wavy, sticking up, now they are saying that they need to change out my gutter hangers for another 300, i called out the company that installed my gutters they used high quality gutter hangers and leaf filter wants me to put these cheap hangers on so their filter will fit better, Im beyond done with this company its now been 8 days since first appt was made to reinstall, bo call half the gutters are still on the ground. Good luck if you ever need to replace your roof or gutters.

      Phone calls never returned. Employees from company cannot articulate and answer any questions due to Lack of Speaking English.When asked them to do something, I was told everything was fine and had to call back and have someone come back and do the job again.I was very disappointed in how I was treated. The job was very pricey.

      We apparently were greatly overcharged our mistake in not researching LeafFilter more. Below is a copy of an email I sent to LeafFilters headquarters after receiving NO response from the local representative. This explains the situation of which Customers should be aware if they are considering doing business with LeafFilter:This is to make you aware of a situation and ask for your LeafFilter comment.In January, 2024, we received a LeafFilter quote from your Central Arkansas representative to cover the gutters on our one-level home. The quote was very high priced so we did only the front of our home. However, we are at fault in not researching the pricing first. The local representative assured us she had given us all the discounts available resulting in a price per foot of over 37 dollars. Our gutters are relatively new requiring no type of repair work and they are clean given I keep them washed out. Given that, the installer had little to do but install the LeafFilter covers. In June we requested a quote to do the rest of the gutters. The same day the representative was coming out we found out from relatives that they had just installed LeafFilter on their home which is partly two story. They paid less than 14 dollars per foot. Therefore, we felt we had been overcharged.When the representative arrived, we told her about this. Further, we told her we felt greatly overcharged initially and expected that to be reflected in the pricing of the new quote. She said she would email and text the quote the next morning. That never came. I emailed her a few days later and then again several days later asking where is the quote. NO response to either request.We and our friends think that LeafFilter just took advantage of us given we are a couple in our seventies.We would like your official LeafFilter comment on this. Again, it was our mistake in not researching your pricing before getting the initial quote. Thank you.

      The salesman outright lied on the day of the sale, said he would make thing right after the fact if I allowed the installers finish. He strung me along for a month and then told me he wasn't going to do anything. What a pathetic excuse for a human.

      ***************** Sales *** was not very professional in that after all business was conducted, I was told that I would get a call to schedule the installation of the system.I never received a call and about a week later I have installers at my house ((contractors) ready to install, I was not aware that they were coming and had other things that needed to be done, had to cancel an appt. because of it. Not very professional at all suppose I happened not to be home ?

      1. *********** does subcontract even though they say they do not.2. They pay the subcontractors very little for their work. For my job of $800+, 3 men received a total of $92 for the 2.5 hours spent on installation. I called the national number 3 times to get a take on this concern and was told I would hear from management...Guess what? They didn't call. Finally, on the 3rd try, I received a call. However, the management was of no help in answering my questions except to say that this is how their "system" works regarding subcontracting and payment receipts.3. When work was done I DID NOT receive a receipt. After 3 days I had to call the national leaf filter number to get one. I also asked for an itemization of the work done. Guess what? They don't do that. I was to get 10% off as a senior, but I have no way of knowing if I received it since there was no itemization.4. Local office in **********, SC did not return any of my voicemail calls. The local *** was also very spotty on returning calls or questions.5. The work done by the subcontractor was excellent. The work done by those within Leaf Filter leaves much to be desired.
