      LeafFilter Gutter Protection offer my brother who is a senior and disabled a price to repair and add screening to an existing system. The existing system needs to be replaced not repaired. The amount they offered to my brother was doubled what other companies would do and the other companies would replace the gutter system not repair. Also the price LeafFilter quoted included discounts and the other companies didnt offer discounts and they were still well under LeafFilters price. I consider LeafFilter is a scam.

      I am very happy with my Leaf Filter gutters! They are strong and secure; after the blizzard last Winter mine stayed up while some of my neighbors' came crashing down. Just a few sections pulled away slightly (understandable, under the weight of 2' of *********** and I noticed some water coming from behind the gutter so I called LF and they sent a very pleasant gentleman out to tack them back up. Problem solved! Total recommendation from this happy customer!

      Both of the people I dealt with were not high pressuring, and they took their time working with me to come up with a plan that worked for me. Both were very nice and helpful. The installer even fixed an outside light that was hanging.

      Salesperson misrepresented the cost of a service call.I was told if debris is on or in gutters & causes an overflow that Leaf Filter would come out up to 4 times a year to remove debris at no cost to me. When I called **************** I was told that was not true about the cost of a service call & not true about debris removal The installer left many black smudges on my gutters which I had to clean off. Also when I called saying I had a gutter that was not in alignment, I had an appointment for October 3rd BUT the service technician show up a week early & with no warning, no phone call, text, or notification of any kind. I certainly did not appreciate that.

      I had to call them many times to get the eave trough serviced. It litterlay took months to get thid done. Hsd i known that i nevrr would have made a second prtchasr from them.

      There was no hassle, no pressure. The product sells itself. Installation was done well, minus a momentary setback when we discovered the installers had skipped putting the filters on an existing stretch of guttering. But this was quickly corrected when we called their attention to it.

      While a great product, the sales tactics were wrong. I understand they want to make a buck, but starting at $46 or more per linear foot for a simple garage gutter installation was way out of bounds. Even at $20 per linear foot, they were making a good profit on the simplest of jobs.

      I think this is probably a quality product (though it hasn't rained yet, so I can't say for sure). I did not care for the gamesmanship of the sales process, where the initial price is absurdly high. The guys who installed were nice enough, but did not clean up the space well and I think they did a sub-par job connecting the leaf filter pieces in some places. I also asked them about an item that I'd talked about with the sales person, but they said they couldn't do it because it wasn't on the work order. When I called the sales person about getting that item fixed, he told me I should just buy the parts and do it myself. This was pitched as a premium product/service, but what I received was average at best.

      it's not like the commercial they do not show up in a Leaf Filter truck. They sub work out to 3rd party installers. The installer came out the first time to install gutters with the wrong color. They came out a second time with same wrong color. The installer said he will come back the next day with correct color. The next day he didn't show up and said I now have a new installer. At that point it felt like the company or installer were pushing the wrong color maybe to get rid of that inventory? I called the operations manager ******************************* to see if I could get some resolve. I left a vm and text. He never had the professionalism to return my call or simply have someone follow up with me. If he did I wouldn't be writing about this horrible experience. I called customer service several times but its simply a circle jerk they forward the complaint to the same people who do not follow up. I was then told my order was cancelled. But I never cancelled my order. In fact they ran my credit with ***** Fargo and was sent a card from ***** Fargo. It's amazing how unprofessional the management is in this company. Leaf Filter focuses specifically on commercials and marketing to acquire as many customers as possible. But if a job is not done right they avoid you rather than resolve the issue? They use the bait and switch sales method. They first show you a much higher price at first then throw in supposed discounts to make it look like their final price is a bargain. Unfortunately this only shows they don't focus on their customers experience. **************** is handcuffed because all they do is forward your information to an office that doesn't return your call. One would think with a company that does over a Billion in revs would actually care about making things right for a customer they completely inconvenienced and misrepresented. When any business acts this way it speaks volumes about who works for them and shows they only embrace piping down sales not customers.
