      We had LeafFilters come out they gave us a great quote and we went a head to have the job done. We asked the salesmen if this was going around all of our gutters and he stated yes. The installer came out and installed the gutters. We noticed later that we had a whole side missing. We called LeafFilters and they said someone would call us and we have not received a call in over 5 months. We then received a call from a sales man to quote the remaining area. I am a 100% disabled veteran an feel that they should complete the job.

      You can see from the pictures the installer saw there was more to cover and he just stopped and didn't even tell us there is additional area to be covered.

      The inspection was completed on 12/2, and it was found that the Leaf Filter system has been installed per the agreed upon contract signed on 11/16/2021. The section of gutter on the screened enclosure was not apart of the contract. we have offered the customer a quote to have the gutter on the screened enclosure installed. We ask that once the customer decides they would like to have this section installed they contact us and will schedule a date/time that works best for them.

       I am rejecting this response because:


      They completely left the back of our gutter uncompleted. I saw the drawing and if the salesman made a mistake that is not our fault. I am a 100% disabled veteran and can not get on the roof. If leaffitters is ok with leaving the work uncompleted as the gutter is a who piece. There commercial clear says I would not have to clean gutters again. In the picture I would have to get someone to clean out even where we have their product. 
      We wan them to complete the job without having to pay extra. unless it was a scam for us to pay more in the end? Why wouldn't the installer let us know that the gutter is not completed and dirt can still get in. Obviously I would not just have a partial gutter done. 

      Complete the job with out us having to pay. Take care of the customer.

      3/1/22: Sales rep shows product & explains how it works. Price- $8268.45. Tells me no climbing ladders to clean gutters & nothing will adhere to them, not even shingle grit. That they will clean gutters & downspouts & fix anything that needs it to install & will clean up.
      3/2/22: Install was almost across the front of one story house when they stopped to tell me they had to cut the shingles back to be able to finish. They did that. They finished on 3/3/22.
      Rained 6/10/22: Five areas flowed water and debris over the filters all over house, doors, windows, deck & ground. I informed the company right away.
      6/14/22: Reply back they sent on to service department. Said sending tech out to look - did not show up or call I called them to complain about product, installers, and service. Rained again. New appointment 7/8/22 - no show again.
      7/11/22 Tech did show up. His fix was, brush the grit & debris in the bottom of the gullies at the filter, & nail a metal diverter to my roof in two areas. Ugly. On two other areas he said the filters were full of shingle grit, cottonwood & other debris. He brushed off tiny area & told me I would have to clean the filter top regularly. He did nothing to the area on North side. When it rained everything was the same - flowing over. The diverter just moved it over a bit.
      A tech showed up to take pictures of roof & filters. Date ?. By now I had taken them off. I could not keep cleaning all the mess I found dirt, shingle grit, leaves & unused screws and brackets in the gutters when I did this. Where I removed screws I had to put back after pulling out the filters from under the shingles because they left sharp jagged edges. .I read they did not disturb or cut shingles. My gutters were also damaged - scrapes and scratches and dents. Tech said I should not have had this happen, that I would get a full refund. He took the materials I removed. Too many lies and the product did not work. When I try to reach them they ignore

       I am rejecting this response because:
      I don't believe this has anything to do with warrenty.  This company lied and lied and lied about everything.  I did not "modify" which means make a few adjustments to the existing item.  Or "alter" which means to make different.  I simply took the filters off as they were unsatisfactory and  returned them to Leaffilters for a refund.  They did not work.  I had to do clean up after every rain shower.  I am 80 years old so no easy task.  Nobody should be able to lie like that and get away with it.

      Three attempts to repair is now ignored as LeafFilter wants more money to install more gutters as not done correct with 8/11/2022 signed with *********** after viewing home with my husband.Contractor did not do front porch properly and LeafFilter says we need to purchase more. Not fair and told by a *******,** manager proper attention will be given.A service inspector came twice ..he removed a glob the contractor put and stated downspouts and endcaps needed.Came again and nothing was done ...he said their parts too small and manager was notified.I've called several tickets made and broken promises..we paid cash..for what was to be 30' of gutter and nowhere near was used.Want our only front porch side entrance given proper treatment we paid for..gutters, repair

      Leaf Filter removed the product after ongoing problems with customer service, product and install were unresolved by the company. Product was removed on 10/20/22. Refund has yet to be issued and the Customer Relations Manager has failed to resolve this.

      Signed contract 11/27/21. They came and installed their filters. They didnt remove old screens (as required by contract) so I had to take them to the dump. I had concerns so they sent 2 quality managers who said they would redo the house and garage. Eventually they sent an installer who said he redid the house but couldnt redo the garage because the original installer used 5 guards but we have 6 gutters. That installer said he would be back in a couple weeks. That was back in August I believe. If appears at that time he removed the screws on the guards on our garage and they landed in our driveway and we are still finding them. Im surprised we havent had a flat tire yet. I have left several voice messages but no one has returned my calls. Since we are coming up on the one year anniversary, this either needs to be completely fixed or my money needs to be refunded because, as Im sure you can imagine, Ive got serious reservations about any future service or guarantee repairs.        I am rejecting this response because:
      Look at the date to check my home out. Isnt it BEFORE I submitted my compliant? That should be an indication of how badly this company operates. They cant even respond to the BBB with an accurate date to come visit and assess how poorly they have done (not completing the job on over a year now). Additionally, we were on vacation last week and when we returned home 11-27-22, we found a note that said they had been here. Been here and did what? There were no details about what, if anything they did, which appears to be typical of how they operate. Why wouldnt they call ahead and say they were coming out?  Based on my compliant, wouldnt that be the logical thing to do?  Now I have no idea what they did or didnt do or what they found and what the solution is going to be. Additionally, ***** with Leaf Filter left a message on my cell phone. I have returned that call and left a message and I fully expect to not get a response like I havent the other two times Ive left messages for *****, which is why I involved the BBB. Hopefully the BBB can alert other customers as to how poorly Leaf Filter operates  and I hope you can encourage them to finally complete my job.

      I had Leaf Filter North out of Milford Delaware install their gutter guards on my home on 11/2/22. I noticed the gutters leaking at the 90degree turns to the down spouts and noticed the edge of my shingles become wavy a few days after the job was done. I called on 11/5/22 at 11:53am to schedule someone to come out to assess and fix the issues. This was scheduled for 11/11/22 between the hours of 12-4pm. No one showed up or called. I called at 3:38pm that day to find out what was going on and asked about rescheduling for a Saturday. She said the job was still open and she would request a manager to contact me that day. No one called. I called again on 11/12/22 at 11:31am for answers and was told someone already came on 11/10/22 and fixed everything. That was a lie. I was home all day. I also have cameras and there is no evidence of them showing up, or any notice left stating they were there. The woman I talked to the previous day did not mention anything about 11/10/22 when she said the job was still showing open for the 11th. This company branch apparently takes your money with no intention of honoring their warranty along with less then desirable install quality. I would not recommend them to anyone. I’m highly disappointed and dissatisfied. The guards were installed in a wave fashion, also missing gutter nails, wavy shingles and leaks. I want these issues fixed but it seems the company could care less since they have cashed my $1500 check and have yet to come out or call me back with a solution. I want this corrected or my money back. And still no call back as of tonight 11/14/22.

      The leaf Filter representative told us the installation was guaranteed and they would repair any problem for a lifetime. The cost was around $6,000 which was to include cleaning the gutters. They did not clean the gutters. After a short time, part of the filter came off and they came out and put it back in place. This week another 12-foot section came off and fell in our yard. I called and they told me they would non repair that because it was not in warranty. They want $105 to repair. My question is if the filter had been installed correctly it would not be coming off. What happens if next week another part comes off and then in two weeks another comes off. For $6,000 I would think the job would hold up. I still believe if the job had been done correctly it would not be coming apart.I am 91 years old and have a fix income and cannot afford to pay $105 every month or so to repair a bad job.Surely a company that big could do business better than they are with me.Maybe they are not a reliable company!

      I signed a contract for installation of gutter protection on Sept 3, 2021, to be installed at a later date (December 20, 2021). After months of excuses and missed installation dates they finally informed me their installer would not be able to do the job (July 1, 2022). Requested a refund of my down payment, $296.50, at that time. I was told the request for the refund had been made to admin/OPs and on July 19, 2022, I was told it would take 45-60 days for receipt. On Sept 28, 2022, I requested an update. After much more back and forth, I was told on October 28, 2022, "the guy" was coming in in an hour then after another 6 hours I was told accounting was called and they were waiting for a response. I had informed them I would be filing a complaint with the BBB but am still waiting for my refund.

      **** ******* from Leaf Filter came out to give us an estimate. I told her the problem we had at the rear of our house is a large pine tree which discards its leaves and needles on the rear of our roof. On 11/24/21 she gave us an estimate of $1,344.00 to cover the gutters on the rear and front of our house. After they were installed, we got a heavy rain fall and the rear gutters worked with no problem. The gutters in front clogged up and ran over onto the grass and front porch.
      I called on 4/27/22 and they told me that they would call back and schedule. I did not get a call back so I called again, and they told me someone would be out on 5/23/22 between 8:00 am and 12:00 noon. No one showed up, I called back, and they gave me a new date 6/1/22 between 8:00 am and 12:00 noon. The repair guy added a pc of metal so that it directs the water to the sides.
      I called back on 7/6/22 and told them that the metal deflector that was installed did not work the water was going over and landing on the lawn and my front porch.
      Another service man came out on 7/15/22 he did not call, he said he rang the door bell and no answer. He said he left me a note that said he cleaned the system whatever that means. He did not ring the doorbell or call; we were in the rear of the house doing yard work.
      I called back and told them that did not work we have the same problem. They sent out another service guy and he installed a deflector pc of metal screen on the roof to divert the water from side to side. After he installed it the rain has stopped for the summer.
      Now it is 10/25/22 and it poured rain, we have the same problem the rain goes right over the screen and the deflector and past the gutter onto my porch and land scaping. I called on 10/25/22 and they told me that they would have the main office in Washington contact me. I called back on 10/26/22 and told them that no one has called. On 10/27/22 they contacted me and told me that someone can come out on 10/1/22.

       I am rejecting this response because: They were suppose to come out and did not, at that time the water was going down the back side of the gutter and down the side of the house. Based on the last 3 visits and tries to fix the problem they would not be able to fix the problem. Pictures are attached and you can see the screen that they put in was much higher and it came down during a heavy rain.

      To make this really simple, when the salesman came out to our home, he told us a monthly payment and how many years it would be for. My wife and I agreed that the monthly payment and loan life was in our budget. We got approved for financing. Nowhere on the contract was there statement of the monthly payment. So, we assumed it was going to be what the salesman stated since there was no evidence of it being anything different. When the first bill came in, it was $40.00 more than what the salesman stated. I contacted the salesman about this and he stated, "I didn't think the price would increase that much. I could not even believe he said that to me. Contacted the company to have the products removed. I had to call back twice to get a supervisor to call me back about having them removed. He told me I signed the contract for the amount the loan was for. I stated to him that I was not complaining about the total price, I was stating that the monthly payment was way off than what the salesman stated. I haven't heard back from him since. I am merely asking that the monthly payment be put to what was stated to my wife and I or, come take the products off my home due to the monthly payment they want is out of our budget. I have all emails between the supervisor and myself, to include pictures of the contract he sent me that does not show a monthly payment.
