  Data recovery is always expensive however hugh, my agent, was able to bring the price down to a manageable level. Service was faster than expected too.
  That said, days recovery is rarely a service you *want* to use, this the 4 stars. The initial estimate was still 4 or 5 times higher than the cost of the drive and 7 gigs of data I needed recovered.
  In this case, however, it was my only option and they treated me fairly. True props

  SalvageData is AMAZING! After my hard drive crashed, I feared losing 2+ years of daily financial data/transactions, tax information, cash flow models, etc associated with my market trading. My rep George P provided outstanding (and patient) customer service as they recovered ALL MY DATA!! Problem diagnosis through the data recovery process and delivery back to me took a little over 2 weeks. Their services were fast and effective, and working with George helped keep stress levels manageable as he provided timely updates and reassurance. I recommend SalvageData without hesitation.

  SalvageData did an excellent job recovering 99.9% of files from an old, badly-corrupted HDD. We had 300+ GB of family photos and videos on a backup Seagate HDD--including all our kids baby photos, and it failed because of a manufacturing defect. Linux-based recovery software did not work because of the bad controller/failed mechanics, and so I set it on a shelf for 9 years, hoping one day to pursue professional data-recovery services. My wife and my Christmas gift to one another this year was to pursue data recovery, and SalvageData recovered everything. The process took approx. 8-10 weeks, but their communication along the way was great. It's been wonderful to be able to revisit all the photos and videos we've not seen for 9 years!

  Salvage Data does high quality work, will always respond quickly, and are professional. As an IT admin these are the people I call when I need data off of a broken HDD/SSD.

  I drove my damaged flash drive to Middletown, thinking the repairs were local. Had I known they shipped out to OH(?) I probably would not have used them. I’m glad I didn’t know. Chris was professional and responsive, fair on pricing, and I just downloaded my data via 7Zip. Yes it’s expensive. Technology’s a B, but I will be referring Salvagedata to others.

  Working with SalvageData made my entire data recovery process easy. My old external drive died after a power surge.
  When you reach out to them they’ll assign you an agent and ask questions to determine what’s wrong. If you decide to move forward with them they’ll connect you with FedEx and cover the shipping etc.
  Once they determine the issues they’ll evaluate the percentage of recovery possible. At best it’ll be all of it, at worst … well you know.
  Dustin made the process incredibly easy. I received my recovered data within 6.5 weeks on an SSD that I sent with the original HDD.
  Although I hope to never experience this again personally and/or professionally as I improve my data managing processes - The peace of mind I had in working with the Salvage Data team made the entire experience enjoyable.

  I’m so happy with the service from SalvageData! They were able to accomplish what other companies said was impossible. After my iPhone 13 shut down, I had a year worth of pictures & videos that I had lost on the nonfunctional phone with no way to retrieve them, according to apple. I only found 2 companies that claimed they could recover the data off my phone, and SalvageData was able to do it at a quarter of the price of their competitor. Not only did they successfully recover all of my lost pictures and videos, they also sent my iPhone back to me in working condition with all of my data still on it! My case manager, Hugh, was great to work with. He was confident in their abilities to recover my data and very attentive & responsive with all of my questions throughout the process.

  This company was great to work with. They were very efficient and were able to retrieve the information I needed from a corrupted USB. My rep, Dustin, explained the entire process, was easy to reach and readily available to answer all my questions.
  I highly recommend this company!
