Store in Sandy Springs, GA has gone downhill for several months now, I noticed first at the cashiers, less personnel with the consequently long lines, ALL THE TIME, no matter if you go early, late, during the weekday or the weekend. Estimated time in line sometimes surpasses the 20 min wait. Produce is very limited and somedays not that fresh. Aisles every day more crowded with useless racks/ merchandise. But what made this time write a review (enough is enough!!) is that during my last visit this past Sunday, the automatic band at the cashier was utterly disgusting, I didn't feel I was in a respectable supermarket chain... Kroger do something because the managers won't do, I think this problematic surpasses their abilities.

Our hometown used to have 3 major chain grocery stores. **** ****, Kroger, & ******t. I was super content at **** **** then they left our town about 15 years ago. I do most of my shopping at Kroger and had been content there up until the pandemic. If Kroger continues in the direction they are heading, I will eventually shop somewhere else. My disappointment has nothing to do with the employees. As a matter of fact if it weren't for the awesome employees there, I would have stopped going along time ago.
My disappointment is clearly cooperate directed.
My major complaint is with their marketing and the way it oppresses the most disadvantaged, vulnerable groups of our population. 1 financially challenged, 2 health compromised individuals, 3 single, 4 technically challenged, 5 middle working class, 6 elderly. 1 - the more you buy, the more money you save - this oppresses the ones that are struggling to buy the minimum amount, 2 - a lot of the time the savings are on the most unhealthy foods therefore pitting unhealthy option vs. financially sound options, 3 - Bigger packages over bigger savings - this is unfortunate for smaller households as they would like to catch a break also, 4 - I absolutely hate that I have to go online or go to my app to clip coupons. Every time I do, it pains me to think of people struggling with internet and the amount of time that is wasted, 5 - which brings me to the working class where I fall in at and time is money. It upsets me every time I visit your website or app, I spend too much time trying to figure out the best financial savings for me, I should not invest this much time in grocery shopping. 6 - the elderly get sucker punched a few times because they fall into several of these categories.
Now every time I log on, it prompts me to sign up for boost. Sickening...I am not paying a grocery store for "perks" and on a less trivial matter, I abhor items in the aisles.
I hope to continue to shop at Kroger...we shall see.

While trying to utilize the filtered water dispenser in front of the store it was determined that it was not working correctly. We attempted to have a manager assist with the proper functioning, but the manager refused to even meet with us. Every employee at the store just said it was the managers responsibility. Kroger should take more responsibility to assure that the equipment is working correctly. We will have to attempt to collect a refund from the credit card company that we charged to receive the service.

I had the unfortunate experience to shop at your Feedwire Road location yesterday where I experienced the proverbial “Bait and Switch” efforts of the staffing while buying bottled water. Though it was only $1.80 difference times four, the incident is simply infuriating.
I sent four photographs of the various displays of water at the store to Kroger's headquarters in Cincinnati. Note there is similarity of the (color and design) of the Kroger brand and Pure Life brand packaging. They have a pricing method by placing stickers on the railing closest (top or bottom) to the product. In this case, the pricing label was attached to the top but displayed on the bottom rail. This was pointed out to me by the floor manager who insisted I pay the price or return the item. She obviously felt my time was worthless or that I had plenty to waste on the store’s attempt to steal from me.
The key point was that the $3.29 sticker was attached – not displayed – on the top rail even though it displayed on the bottom rail. Given a choice of $3.69 or $3.29, between Pure Life and Kroger, which would you choose -let alone the $4.99 I paid?
I've sent this complaint to Kroger's with pictures and a copy of the invoice. Besides raising their prices, they are gouging us with these tactics.

I recently signed up for the Boost Membership. It took 4 people on the online chat and 1 phone to the toll free number to get a simple question answered. On the "Live Chat", I had 3 people end the chat on me without answering my question, which is rude. No one up there was answering my question, which was "when do my Boost points get applied once I make a purchase online? After the trial, or after I get my delivery?" How hard is that question lol I finally went on the phone, and again with the scripts these customer service reps "have to" read. It takes away active listening skills lol I have to repeat my question twice to him before he finally understood.
My point is this: if you're going to offer a service, make sure you train your people to listen attentively to the questions being asked, and to not hang up or end chats on people just because the rep doesn't know the answer or can't understand. Don't offer a service that your employees can't handle if you don't plan on training them for the services, duh, Kroger.
Please do not make me regret signing up for this service, because it is far too easy these days to shift memberships to your competitors.

I’ve continuously watched the Griffin, GA Kroger go downhill. I’m not sure if it’s the person running it or the lack of care of the people working there. The store is disgusting, food is bad and expired. The service is awful. They are always behind on pickup orders and live making you come back after you drove an hour to get there. Peoples attitudes are the worst here. They will just sit there and look away until they feel like greeting you.
Whenever I’ve contacted them for missing items off my pickup order or about food that I received that was spoiled and expired it’s always been an issue. I would go in but half the time they only have 3 lanes open which is why I do the pick up option.
I won’t be shopping here again. I’ll pay more at ****** even with inflated prices to save myself the time and headache.

They switch and bait. I ordered, online, a 6 pack of *** ****** hand soap. I received only one. Then when I called to let them know, the manager gas lighted me saying he is not seeing the 6 pack. It's right there on their website. I would like to be given the other 5 that I paid for.

More often than not I am unable to get through over phone when calling to check on prescriptions. IF I do happen to get through, their recordings do not accept any voice answers or number key dials that are supposed to be linked through their system. Worst Customer Service if you can't contact the pharmacy

The Kroger company is ridiculous, I was told that the company just got done eliminating a number of employees jobs, especially in their pharmacy. I spent an hour in line trying to get a blood thinner prescription for my husband since I was taking my husband home from the hospital after having a blood clot in his lung. There is ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE FOR THIS! Now Kroger has purchased another grocery chain to RUIN! I guess NOW Corporate MANAGEMENT will take in their FAT CORPORATE BONUSES at the expense of CUSTOMER NEGLECT!!! I just guess there is NO SUCH THING AS CUSTOMER SERVICE in any American corporation anymore, especially KROGER. And also everyone can see that Kroger doesn’t have any respect or caring for the employees they let go or the ones that the keep and overwork. Talk about a hateful uncaring, greedy company!
