We completed an investigation into the matter and advise the only agencies we currently report payment information to are ******** and **********, and only if reporting is permitted in *** ********** state. After a loan is opened or a payment is made, your payment information is reported the following month. It will then take anywhere from 45 to 60 days for the credit bureaus to update the information on a credit file. It is possible for *** ******** to see the update sooner; however, we want her to be aware it can take the full 60 days. We ask that *** ******** please allow more time for the update to take place as we have reported her account accurately.

Several years ago I got a loan from Check n Go this was more than 8 years ago. Well life happens and I was not able to complete my loan agreement which is absolutely my fault. So about 5 years ago they hired a law firm collection agency to garnish my wages and I was able to prove that I am not legally eligible for garnishment. They did the same thing again this year and again I was able to legally prove that I am not legally eligible for garnishment. But I also realize that I do owe money and as an adult it is my obligation to pay it. They were asking for almost $1,100 and after looking through all my records I actually only owe them $300 everything else is interest. I am actually extremely sick right now and dying of congestive heart failure. Which is part of the reason I cannot be garnished because I am receiving disability. I offered to pay the $300 which is what I owe and just not pay the interest and they told me no the company that they hired to come after me would rather not receive anything then receive the $300 I offered. They actually would rather wait until I die and see if they're going to get anything for my estate but there is no estate. It is really horrible regardless of the circumstances that got us into this position it is really horrible to rather have me die then accept what I really only owe them.Business Response

HELLO, I WENT TO CHECK N GO TO GET A LOAN IN FEBRUARY OF 2020. WHEN IT CAME TIME TO PAY IT BACK I WAS HAVING SOME FINANCIAL PROBLEMS. WITHIN TWO WEEKS I WAS ABLE TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE AND I PAID THE LOAN OFF IN THAT SAME MONTH AFTER I PAID IT BACK. IT WAS ON JUNE OF 2022 WENT INTO THE CHECK N GO TO GET A LOAN AT FIRST SHE SAID THAT THEN PAYMENT WAS STILL IN THERE SYSTEM SO SHE CALLED THE HEAD OFFICE AND THEY TOLD HER THAT THE LOAN WAS PAID IN FULL. WHEN SHE WENT TO PROCESS THE LOAN IT STILL DIDN'T PROCESS SO SHE GAVE ME A NUMBER TO CALL BECAUSE IT WAS THE STATE OF ******* THAT HAD NOT CLEARED IT , THE STATE SAID THAT CHECK N GO NEEDED TO GO INTO THE ******* DATA BASE, AND CLEAR IT. I WAS CRYING AND REALLY GETTING UPSET BECAUSE I NEED BILLS PAID, FOOD ,GAS IN MY CAR AND THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO HELP ME BUT ALL THEY ALL DID WAS KEEP GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND NOBODY WANTED TO FIX THIS PLEASE HELP ME I AM DISABLE CANNOT WORK SO CHECK N GO WAS MY GO TO PLACE . Once AGAIN I have been locked out of my online account (see attached).. None of my info has changed. The last time this happened, it was due to a CSR doing something to my account. The last time I could log in was 6 July 2022. I had called in concerning a PDL I applied for that day. Since then I get this "verification" error -- just like the last time about 7 months ago when something on Check-n-Go's end was changed. I reject the cookie cutter NON APPROPRIATE response. This is the SECOND time since March 2022 that I have been locked out of my account for credential problems w my user id and password even though they did NOT change!
From the last time I had this issue (March 2022), I was told it was caused by an employee doing "something" w my account on THEIR end. Yes, I clear my cache and cookies and use different browsers but that will not fix something being dabbled with.
All I seek is to be able to login with my credentials.

I haven’t used Check N Go for YEARS. As far as I’m aware, I don’t have any debts on the book with them (at least, according to ****** *****). I received two phone calls recently stating someone was making a court case against me and that they’d find my family and place of work. And then they called my family with the same threats! I do research online, and lo and behold—the number they want me to call them back at is allegedly Check N Go or someone affiliated with them. I used to use Check N Go for quick grocery or bill coverage when I was short away from my paycheck, but wow. Never again. Absolutely despicable behavior from this company or anyone affiliated.Business Response
