I have had a payday loan with Check and Go. I get disability monthly and my repayment date is based on that date. In December 2024 they deposited it a day before they were supposed to I was told it was a mistake in their system, and had to wait for the check to clear my bank before I can renew my loan, the bank paid the loan of 352.50$ so on December 3, 2024 I renew my loan they said it was cleared in their system. On January 3, 2025 I went in to pay my loan which I paid my loan off then I was told that the bank had returned the the check to the state data base, so it look like I have 2 loans open. I went to the bank and got a print out of my account and the check was not returned I call the State Database and was told the bank doesn’t sent returned checks to them they are for the company to register my loans my State only allows 500$ they saw I had one with Check&Go and one with another company for 200$ and this database is check when ever I apply for a payday loan . I have sent a complaint to check and go. They keep back and forth I have tried to talk with the DM but was told they cannot give out that number I have been told so many conflicting things while they are still calling me and trying to draft my bank account they have been very rude the person at the store , my bank was on the phone with her trying to straight this out she hung up in her face, My bank has bend over backwards to help straighten it out. We completed an investigation into the matter and advise we have reached out to Ms. ******** multiple times explaining we would need to see a full bank statement showing transactions from 12/01/2024- 12/31/2024. The transaction history Ms. ******** has previously provided only shows transactions through December 3rd. According to our records the payment was returned after December 3rd, so we would not be able to clear the payment based on what she has provided. If Ms. ******** does not want to take the time to go into the store to provide the requested documents she can email them to CustomerAdvocacy@axcess-financial**** and we would be more than happy to review them and let her know our decision based on those documents.

The problem that I am having is that I have been trying to update my banking information to try to apply for a loan because I no longer bank with the bank I used to bank with when and have no access to the old banking information when I tried to apply for a loan in 2021 and my local Check N Go's in ******** ***** closed around November of 2022 or 2023 and I called the 800 number to get help with updating the information and I have no check n go stores within in a reasonable drive to update my informationBusiness Response

And every time I call the 800 number that's the response I get and I talk to my former bank *** Bank they say that there is no ability to get the former routing and account number and I have not banked with them for more than 2 years again as I've said so I am rejecting the response because of that.

I applied for a loan with Check and go for the amount of 1400.00. I wanted to request a pay off amount of pay part of the balance to reduce my loan. I am not able to get online to see my pay off amount because they have disabled the payment buttons . When I called the phone number ************ the line is placed on hold over over 2 hours to get someone one on line in the payment department. When I called today on 12/16/2024 the agent who answered this phone number refused to provide the pay off amount and inflated the price to about 7000.00 I have never received a schedule and the person could not slowly explain what the payment is. I called again another number ************ and someone picked up who spoke very fast from another continent saying she is not on Check and go online so she transferred my call. When I got through after waiting for 25 minutes someone picked up and gave another set of payments and refused to give me a pay of nor explain why they are not able to move my due date. They also refused to tell me why I am not able to log online and see my payments on their app called pocket 360 and then i I asked for a supervisor who had the same attitude and gave me a pay off of 1615.91 when I asked him to repeat the payment again the refused to read it back and said its in the payment schedule but I never received the payment schedule they just funded my loan without a payment schedule. I would like an email for the schedule so I can track the loan and pay them off as soon as possible because they intent to gouge and delay communication to frustrate pay offs. I get a call every couple of months stating that I owe check n go money. I have paid them off years ago- and still receive phone calls claiming I’m going to court now because of this. I’ve looked into it and there is no court case filed. But every couple of months I have to resubmitted my documents proving I paid. The loan was sold to ****** **** ******** on October 24, 2016. At that point, Check ‘n Go ceased all collection activity, and responsibility for the debt was transferred to ****** **** ********.
We understand *** ********** concern regarding the accuracy of her account information and her communication that ****** **** ******** is no longer in business. While we cannot verify the operational status of ****** **** ******** or their successor agencies, we must clarify that Check ‘n Go no longer holds ownership of the debt and has no control over the actions of subsequent purchasers.
Regarding *** ********** claim that the debt has been paid, she provided documentation from ******** ******** *** ********** as evidence of payment. This indicates that ****** **** ******** sold the debt to another agency, who collected the payment. As such, we recommend that *** ********:

I’m tired of companies contacting me to pay something I’ve paid off. This is due to your company selling my debt. So your company should be each out and get this closed properly as I’ve provided you the documentation. Your suggestion after selling my debt is to handle it myself instead of closing this out properly. Every. Single. Debt. Agency. That had called me has said it’s on YOUR end. When I call your customer service it still shows I have an open file. Nobody is on the same page. It’s frustrating. Why did I pay if this is going to continue for HOW MANY YEARS. you are not solving anything for me by telling me I should ask for this or that or do this.

Around I would say June or July the payday loan company Check n Go abruptly closed with no notification to its customers. I contact them for several months with no return calls. Finally when I did contact and associate at the ********** St location they said they no longer were involved. I don't know how many were affected. Later I keep receiving this callee who at first would not identify themselves. At the last straw I called the number back it was a company of ********** **********. They were rude and abrupt. I hung up. I called back got a you lady D*****. We talked for a while and she begin to tell me about the debt which started out just being a loan for$575.00. She keep saying interest for the time, and I said how is that when there was a flat loan of 575.00 and the company close on their own with know warning. I have paid in over$547.60 since January 2024 started in January. Also in September some hacked my bank account with a ******* Bank and it had to be placed on hold cause all of my Social Security money's and retirement from the Stat of ****** was being affected. Strutted Settlement was drawing 68.45 each month. I am willing to pay the remainder of the 575.00 but I can't afford any more. Besides that they never sent me paperwork when I agreed to allow them in my account. I can trust people anymore. Please advise what to do. I currently owe three payments on my loan. I want to pay off my loan early to decrease the amount of interest I would owe, to save me money. In there agreement there is no penalty to pay off the loan early. However, they are using tactics, like not answering their phone so you cannot get the actual payoff amount. Additionally, when you go to log into your account you are only able to make a payment early, there no place to ask for a payoff amount or to pay more than the current payment. Also, there is a button for you to refinance, but no button to payoff the loan. I start calling at around 1:00pm trying to get the payoff amount. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.(I still had to pay more interest on the loan due to their business practices of not allowing me to pay off the loan online versus allowing me to refinance the loan. Additionally their phone system is inadequate to take the number of calls to pay off the loan or talk to anyone in customer service. I do not believe this is an oversight but indeed a business practice in an attempt to get as much interest from the client as possible. Had my phone call been replied to same day or been able to pay online, I would have paid a lot less interest.TYPE YOUR REASONS HERE)
