I have continuously pulled out along with this company but I noticed if I pay my loan off before 30 days they are not discounting the finance charge. If I don't keep the loan for 30 days that finance charge is supposed to go down. That is illegal.

We want to thank *** **** for contacting Check ‘n Go
regarding concerns associated with her payday loan. We understand that there is
some confusion with the terms and conditions of her loan. We completed an
investigation into the matter and found that *** **** took out a payday loan on
6/8/2023 in the amount of $175.00.  Our
records indicate the loan was repaid in whole on 6/16/2023, and that her
account is currently closed with a status of paid in full.

*** **** agreed to the terms and conditions of her loan when
she signed her loan agreement prior to accepting funds.  Unfortunately, there is no State or Federal
requirement to reduce the amount of a finance charge when a payday loan is paid
off in 30 days or less, nor is this stated anywhere within the loan agreement
      she signed.

The loan original date to pay off was July 6th. The loans interest is based off a 30-day loan. So why is this company stealing my money and making me pay interest on a 30-day loan when I don't have it out that long? If that's not your policy and procedure and the contract show me.

We have previously investigated the customer’s claims and provided

We would like to thank *** **** for contacting Check ‘n Go
regarding concerns associated with her loan.
This issue was escalated to our Management Team who completed an
investigation into the matter and found that *** **** took out a Loan in the
amount of $175.00.  The Finance Charge on
her loan totaled $44.99 and consisted of a $43.75 CSO charge along with $1.24
in total interest.  *** **** paid off her
loan early on 6/16/2023 by making a payment of $219.99.  This payment included $1.24 in interest that
would have accrued up until the due date of 7/5/2023.  *** **** is due a refund of $0.33, as she did
not accrue the entire $1.24 of daily interest- as she paid off her loan early.  We would like to apologize for this issue and
confirm that a refund request has been initiated to account for the discrepancy.  This adjustment will be applied to the debit
card *** **** used when initiating the transaction and should be credited back
to her within 15 business days.  If she
has any additional questions or concerns, we encourage her to contact our

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below. I'm not worried about 33 cents The fees that you charged are based on having the loan out for 30 days. And that case you need to pull every loan that I have had and go back and realize you made a mistake if you owe me $33 that means you owe me for every loan that I've had that I have paid off early. That's not the issue here Your fees are stated they're supposed to be for 30 days out. If the loan is paid off early that means that the fees should be cheaper. I as are my fees based on paying for 30 days or are the fees just the fees. That was my question the entire time.

      To Whom It May Concern:

We want to thank *** ****** **** for contacting Check 'n Go regarding loan fees. We understand that there is some confusion with the terms and conditions of her loan. We completed an investigation into the matter and advise "the Fees" are listed as the Finance Charge. Finance Charges for *** ****** loan include interest, in the amount of $1.24, and CSO/ CAB Fees, of $43.75. An example of how both are calculated is highlighted on page 1 of 7 of the attached Loan Agreement. The CSO/ CAB fee is based on the amount borrowed, and not the length of the loan. Thus the CSO/ CAB will not be prorated based on an early payoff. The interest on the loan is calculated based on the term of the loan agreed to at the time of origination, in this case, 26 days, in the amount of $1.24. Prepayment can be made without penalty. As seen in the highlighted section of page 1 of 5. The loan Agreement also explains interest will not continue to accrue on any prepaid principal amount following the day of payment. As seen in the highlighted second section of page 1 of 5.

The refund in the amount of $0.33 was issued as a one time courtesy.

We sincerely apologize for any confusion regarding *** ****** loan with us.

      Problem:
I filed a complaint on this company a month ago trying to get clarification because the customer service doesn't communicate well. I was trying to get clarification on their fees shouldn't the fees be given back if you pay the loan off early. Now that I file the complaint I went back and tried to apply for a loan today July the 11th and it was denied because I filed a complaint. What type of retaliation is this? This type of retaliation shouldn't be permitted. If you hire customer service workers that can communicate there wouldn't have been a better business bureau complaint.

I have been a customer for years, having my payments automatically taken out each month. I changed bank account May 2023.

My payment came due, but I had the option to refinance, but 5 days after my due date, I no longer had the option to refinance, and my account said I was past due my monthly payment. I called, and set up a payment plan with the first payment made that day on May 18, the next one to be taken out on June 1, and the last July 1. Along with this payment plan, my regular monthly payment was to be taken out also on the due date.

They took my bank info over the phone that day on May 18. Now, nothing is being taken out automatically because apparently I have to fill out a form to change bank information, ok, that's fine. My complaint is as follows.

They sent me an email today after speaking with them, stating I owe 2 payments on the payment plan, after I have already made 2 payments, leaving 1 due on July 1. Along with that, the payment date they are showing me have already paid is not even correct.

I made a payment May 18, and one June 5 for the payment plan, and made my monthly payment today for the full amount. My account should only be one payment behind of the payment plan.

Mind you, I have my bank statements showing when and how much I have paid already.

I have been calling for a month to get this straightened out, and they seem to not know how to help me with my account, but instead wanting to overcharge me!

like to thank *** ***** for contacting **** regarding concerns associated with
his loan. The **** Loan is an installment
      loan originated and funded by ******* ********* **** (“******”), a ****
Chartered bank, located in ***** ****, Member FDIC.  We have reviewed the complaint and appreciate
the opportunity to investigate the matter and provide a response.

      During our
investigation we reviewed all documents, notes, and recorded phone
conversations pertaining to the complaint. We found that *** ***** signed an
Installment Loan Agreement with ****** on 8/03/2022 for $5,000.00 with a
finance charge of $6,773.45, for a total due of $11,773.45. The Installment
Loan Agreement contained the Annual Percentage Rate of 144.87% along with the
Finance Charge, Amount Financed, Total of Payments, and an 18-month Payment
Schedule. Monthly payments of $692.65 began on 8/29/2022 for a total of 17
payments. Records indicate copies of the loan agreement,
and all federally required disclosures were provided to *** ***** through
      email.

      While
reviewing *** *****’s account it was found that he did make the first 4 regular
      payments on 8/29, 9/29, 10/29 and 11/29. On 12/28 *** ***** called **** Customer Support and requested a due date
change. The agent was able to move payments to the 13th of each
month starting 1/13/2023. The due date changes extended *** *****’s payments
until 2/13/2024.  The next 4 regular
payments on 1/13, 2/13, 3/13 and 4/13 were processed as normal. The 5/13 payment
was returned by *** *****’s bank, and new account information would be required.
On 5/18 he spoke with an agent and agreed to a payment arrangement to collect
the past due balance. The agreed upon arrangement was for 3 payments of $230.85
on 5/18, 6/01 and 7/03. During that time his regular June payment would also
      come due on 6/13.

      As of 7/03/2023
*** *****’s account is current (see attached Summary). Normally, it does take
3-5 business days for the **** loan information to update and reflect the most
recent payments. Please keep in mind holidays and weekends do not count as
      business days.  The website should
reflect a payment of $692.55 is due on 7/13/2023, as reflected in the Summary. If
after the proper timeframe the online account does not properly reflect
payments *** ***** is more than welcome to call **** Customer Support.

      We would
also like to remind *** ***** that he does not currently have an active
checking account on his loan, and because of this he is responsible to call in
**** Customer Support each month and make his payment using a debit card. If he
would like to update his bank account information he would simply need to completely
fill out the Change of Account form that was sent to him on 6/5/2023, and email
      it back to Customer Support.

      We also
sincerely apologize for the mistake on the name used within our response.

      We trust
this information is responsive to the request.

      Thank you,

      **** Loan

Received a letter titled "Civil Lawsuit" from ******** Legal Group stating I owed $1181.22 from a loan back in 2012. I do not recall this debt and have not received any notification and/or paperwork prior to this regarding the matter. I have attempted to validate information with Check N Go but they have advised they do not have any information regarding this. I did mail a certified letter to this ******** Legal Group requesting debt validation.

In December of 2022 i opened a installment loan with check n go i received a loan for $2025.00 with my payments being $206.17 bi-weekly. my payments are taken from my account biweekly by the company even though i never asked for autopay. i have made 11 payments so far as of May 19,2023 my next payment is not due till June 2,2023. i have paid $2,267.87 of the $2025.00 i received. i was told i had to pay back $5,000 when i only got $2,000. i called the company and asked for a copy of my loan agreement and what i saw on my loan agreement concerned me. per the agreement your loan amount is based off your credit score. a credit check was never ran on my ssn instead the company puts everybody score over 800 so that they can get a higher loan amount back so that you can pay back 20x more then what you actually would have been approved for based off your actual score. i called the company about this and was hung up on. since then i have gotten repeated phone calls stating that im behind on my payments when my payments are automatically taken from my account biweekly and i haven't missed a payment. this company has sent my bank account into the negatives a few hundred dollars more then once claiming they are not receiving my payments that they are automatically taking out of my account. i have had to call several times and send several emails with screenshots of my bank account proving i made the payment only for them to continue to make over drafts my account with no resolution which results in overdraft fees. i have spoken to several mangers and my issues have not been resolved. they call me 5-6x a day saying i owe when i don't and nobody wants to fix the issue at all. i asked several times to stop receiving these calls its to the point they are harassing me and i blocked the number. The company is falsifying customer information on the loan documents so that they can receive the higher payback amount fee from its customers which is a finical gain for them.

      To Whom It May Concern:

We want to thank *** ***** for contacting Check ‘n Go
regarding her installment loan. We understand that there is some confusion with
the terms and conditions of her loan. After completing an investigation into
the matter, we found that *** ***** agreed to the terms of her Loan Agreement
when she took out an installment loan on 12/5/2022 in the amount of $2,025.00.  According to the Loan Agreement she signed
prior to accepting funds, her loan contained an Annual Percentage Rate of 212.02%,
Finance Charges of $2,922.88, for a total due of $49,47.88.

Our records indicate there have been multiple installment
payments that were returned by her bank for insufficient funds.  It is important to remember that whenever an
installment payment is not successful- the daily interest associated with that
installment continues to accrue until the payment is made up.  The combined daily interest accrued on these
missed payments caused herr outstanding loan balance to increase beyond the
      initial projection.

*** ***** is more than welcome to pay off her loan early,
which would result in a reduction of additional daily interest.  The payoff amount for Xact loans changes
daily and adjusts according to the amount of daily interest accrued.  She can contact customer support at any point
to request an up to date payoff amount.  She
can reach customer support at ###-###-####.

I received a letter in the mail from Vanguard Legal Group threatening to take legal action against me for a $400.00 Check N Go loan from June 2012 and wants an amount of $1,112.95 by May 19, 2023. I had already settled this matter back on Feb 19, 2021 with Preston, S****, & Associates & contacted Vanguard. The lady at Vanguard gave me an email to dispute which came back undeliverable. I contact Vanguard again, a different lady tried to give me another email that she fumbled with so I asked to speak with a supervisor or manager. I was told that there were none available and question the validity of this civil lawsuit. I emailed my attached paperwork & have not heard anything back. I don't know how they would get most of the information on this civil lawsuit notification without Check N Go releasing but this matter has been legally settled in full.
